> goes into video expecting climbing tips > recieves life altering perspective change > gets out of bed, cleans house, applies for jobs, and starts planning my future with newfound determination > still hardstuck silver edit: i got a job
Wtf i instead read the comments (or at leat the top comment, and yours brother is the one❤) before watching the video, and I thought "what does he mean by that?" Now at 8:00 im not even sure i wanna try to be challenger anymore, just get better in things in life
Honestly, it's finally nice to see a video that is genuine and not another clickbait. I am truly happy for you and thankful that you were willing to share your journey to challenger with us. We need more positive high elo players like yourself. I'm aiming to get Masters this season and after that who knows, but having confidence to make mistakes (and recover from them) is something that will stay with me for the rest of my life. Thank you again.
As a Radiant ranked player in VALORANT, first acknowledging your weaknesses and learning HOW to learn from others that are better than you is one of the most important lessons a competitive video game teaches you. This is extremely well put together, loved it man. As someone who has max 1 hour in LOL, I didn’t realize just how hard it was to climb, but this definitely goes to show how much harder it is compared to an FPS game like VALORANT.
The lack of self-esteem, the absolute 0 self-confidence, the insecurities, the lack of hope, the lack of desire, the frustrations, the sacrifices, the suffering at what cost? Little by little the anger and fury from performing not well, not an acceptable level and the absolute incapability and simply suck, being terrible and play a role other than support resulting in being lost in rage; i feel hopeless, powerless yet i know that bliss of transcendence so why is it that i still feel so hopelessly lost, why am i so weak?
First of all, congratulations! Secondly, I recently discovered your channel and to be honest I feel like you are what this community truly needs. Rather than telling you that hecarim has 175%wr and that you should spam it or spam pinging, sending death threats, insulting other players while bragging how good you are and complaining the lack of skill of your teammates, you simply try to help the community on a deeper level, way beyond the summoner's rift. Overall you spread positivity in a community so focused on bringing harm to others and that's something I admire. Thirdly, this video instantly sparked my interest when I saw the title, to be precise the "9 years" part. I have been playing this game since season 5, when I was a little 9-year-old kid and it has been quite a journey. League has accompanied me throughout all of my highschool years and now I'm starting college. I don't want to know how many hours I've spent on this game. I would be terrified. League has brought me the most toxic friendships I've ever had, and I had no one else besides them. I had a mountain of problems and I tried to "solve" them doing the same thing every single time: running away and never confronting my problems. This is overall the thing that resonated with me the most within this video. The other thing that resonated with me and what I think brings me back to this game over and over again is what you described as the renaissance, every time I watch an educational video about this game and see myself slowly but surely improving. But since league took such an important role in my life and the fact that the joy I had came down to my performance, I quickly became severely depressed. And anxiety kept getting worse and worse, to the point that I could no longer (and this is still true to this day) play this game without my newfound group of friends (who aren't toxic). Ironically this became my saving grace. I took an important decision in my life, I didn't go to college, instead I took a break and during the latter half of 2022 and until september of 2023. My friends were so busy at the time that they didn't play the game, so I couldn't queue up and quit the game up until June of last year. When I came back, my mental health improved significantly and I don't know why, even though I didn't play the game for 9 months I severely improved, somewhat proving the point of this video. There is still a long way to go, I still have to overcome this "ranked anxiety" and not being able to queue up in soloq. I hope that one day, I'll be able to overcome my problems by facing them and simply queue up to greater heights. I don't know why I vented and told my journey of this game. But the emotional response I got with this video probably deserved it (I think that only time will tell). But sincerely, thank you for making this video. I hope you manage to reach your goals in life
That's incredible man, I'm glad that you were able to resonate so deeply with the video. It really seems that you are going through a lot of the same stuff that I did. You have to face your problems and not run away like I did for so long. Confront them, be confident, and I promise that it will be worth it in the end. I know you are on the right path ❤️
I started playing this game in 2011 and peaked in S3 as D1 99LP (there was no master's/grandmaster's). I cannot fully remember why I stopped playing, but I think mainly due to frustration that I couldn't achieve the challenger and I just hopped onto other games. I was relatively good at that game and I always wanted to start streaming but I had bad internet and computer. I later realised I could have tried going into competitive scene, but back in the day I just played for fun and I had no idea about esports. One of my biggest regrets is stopping playing at that moment. I sometimes get back into League. Around S7 I got back and played Taliyah all the time, hitting diamond with around 70%wr. I stopped again. In S11 I got back to hit diamond. In S12 I didn't play much and got platinum. In S13 I started liking League again and hit Master's for first time and stopped again to play other game. The skill gap has increased so much, back in the day the games were much, much easier. Also lack of knowledge of champions doesn't help. But I sometimes wonder if I kept pushing around that S3, would I ever try the taste of e-sports? I am 27 now and I still love competitive aspect of games, but I regret that in golden years I didn't keep trying no matter what.
dude im literally silver and don’t even play league anymore but still decided to watch the video, and hearing about how you translated the mindset from improving your overall life into league to hit challenger was surreal. im on that journey right now too and recognizing and resonating with the clips and Marcus Aurelius quote really hit me. this video definitely has helped to reinforce a lot of the concepts I’ve been trying to work on in my own life; self honesty, self actualization, and the whole confidence thing too. i struggled my entire life with massive insecurity and only through letting go of external expectations and learning to embrace rejection and failure have i finally overcome it. as you said, the feeling is truly liberating. amazing 10/10 video, im subbing. best of luck to you on your journey, and thank you for the important reminder to be mindful of my machine
Hidden Coach Curtis ad confirmed?!! Okay but for real, this is an insanely good video. Your story also feels a bit personal because I can relate to a lot of what you said. League Rank aside, this is such a profound message. Keep up the work.
The true gold in this video is "The Revolution". I've seen so many "how to climb" videos and NONE of them talk deeper than "you gotta change your mindset, maaaan". You took a deep dive and....you described me. To my horror and to my relief. Horror, because it was only very recently that I started to put names on the things you talk aobut. I am mortally terrified of making mistakes and I know it for some time actually, yet I haven't been able to overcome it (yet). Seeing you being succesful gives me hope. Relief. And I thank you for that. Truly and deeply. It's a journey for sure. And just in case someone older is watching: I'm a 35 year old father of two and I'm just starting the revolution. It's never too late.
11:23 is the best part of the video. Confidence to fail is something i haven't heard before, but it's what i needed to hear right now. "It's when you make no choice and become stagnant, that you become ruled by fear"
Not sure if you will read this message, I am 37 and love league but people keep saying I am " Dinosaur, ancient, relic, and just too old". I love watching the pro scene and have teams I truly admire and root for as a fan. However, for the last few years I've been stuck in bronze and finally got silver... what I am getting at i is my goal has always been challenger and people keep telling me it's just not achieveable at my age ( life, family,work,... etc) but I really believe I can do it. Your video has given me the motivation to achieve it ... I know folks in the comments will clown at me " Bro get a life , why are you playing a video game at that age?... blah blah" ...etc I trully love the lore and game of league of legends. I just want to say thanks for putting together this video and inspiring to achieve a goal - I truly want - god bless.
My guy ,one of the most important things to climb from what i heard from multiple challengers, is macro but micro looks cool so people often focus on it ... But macro is where big brain and lp is at , so focus on that and don't beat yourself up ,and fuck anyome saying you are too old for anything .. you are still alive ,and that's what's important ❤
honestly just wait like a couple more years and you will see the playerbase get super old and no one will care if you are 37 playing league still lol its just a new game with young players. it will grow i bet.
Man... this is one of the best league videos I've seen. And I've seen A LOT! Congratulations! Very well done, great attitude, nice video editting and formatting. I hope I'll be able to put into action what you have inspired us to do here. Thank you, have a great year!!!
That's insane quality man i really enjoyed it! Also i'm an ex midlane academy member aswell so im glad u also mentioned it! Really insightful video overall man keep them going
Bro bro bro, I'm LITTERALY like you, face the same problems you faced, same mindset as yours and I'm living now for at least reaching my peak or being the best ! I was here for taking some advices from your videos and when I listened your story, it reminded me mine ! Hope you get better and better and you reach the stars as we all should be ! Have a good day !
Im coming back 2 weeks after watching this and i just broke into challenger, refreshing tips not about meta as such but how to build stronger mental in game, thank you!
All I got to say is thank you, I'm freaking blessed for having found your channel. I was stuck ina rut and hadn't managed to win 3 games in a row even on my training account (much lower elo than my main) in god knows how many weeks. Today I broke that cycle, everything changed yesterday after watching this video the moment it came out. Tali is also extremely fun I'm glad I picked her up, your VODs helped em figure out a ton about her kit and possibilities!
ty, now I have the confidence to quit ranked and just play 10 games per season to get my rank rewards, previously I always climbed to diamond, but nowadays, I dont have the time cuz of work and motiviation to climb to dia, especially if riot is forcing me to play actively through out the year with the season split system, lots of my friends quit the game for this reason as well, so yeah, its my time now
I'm commenting this separately because it deserves its own space. I wanted to thank you for having the courage to be vulnerable with us. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself with us and for allowing us that glimpse of humanness. And thank you for allowing yourself this growth. It's infectious and truly inspiring.
as a League of Legends coach, this was an amazing watch, kudos for being so sincere with yourself and so brave to openly share your experience with all of us, League is just a vessel for manifesting self improvement, i'm so very proud of you and i dont even know you, great video
I initially stuck to flex play with friends, avoiding Soloq since my last Gold rank. This season, stepping into Soloq for the first time, I find myself in the Stone Age, yet surprisingly reaching Masters in under 100 games, then I stopped right after. I’m a one-trick pony and I found success with a mix of luck (very high MMR), good teammates, and knowing the basics. Now eyeing GM, I acknowledge the need to move beyond banging rocks together, facing more experienced players, and delving into the game's intricacies. Unsure about making the push, I don't know if I should make a massive commitment to the challenges of climbing and understanding the actual pain of making it to the top of the ladder. I have only been considering this due to my account having GM mmr and that it would be a waste to not at least try in the next season, but change is difficult as you mentioned, and I don't know where to start improving because I'm still in my Stone Age era.
Yes man, it definitely is a decision you will have to commit to if you want to push higher. It will not be easy I'm sure, but it will be rewarding if you choose to take on the challenge and conquer it
I'll hit challeger one day soon. Why I know it? Because my last year I've becoming a better version of myself, not in just gaming but in my real life too, as son, as dad, as man, as husband. Started at silver last year ended gold 3 mid season finish emerald 4 last season and now 1week in current season I'm emerald 1 rn. And going up and up. Peace!!
Thats so inspiring! My Stone age was platinum for 5 Years, i one tricked Urgot to master over 2 Years and now im low master players for 3 Years now. low master. im stuck low master cause i have no motivation to pput in the effort to get better cause GM seems to be so far away. But now i saw your Video and you are not someone who climbed to master in 3 months. i try to get better next season and will climb! Thank you for your Video!
I'm very fond of the way you chose to approach this topic. A huge chunk of the instructional content of League of Legends pays attention only to surface level concepts, trying to sell what's optimal and efficient as the best-and perhaps even only-way to climb. The truth is that, just like in every other competitive game, LoL has a non-significant human component to it; true improvement cannot occur until you acknowledge both yourself and your opponents as people, instead of obstacles to overcome. You've managed to tap into a dimension that's rarely acknowledged in mainstream discussions of this game. Trivial concepts, often taught to beginners in other games (i.e. Keep your ego in check, get in the head of your opponent, approach your games with intent) are hard to come by in this environment. In a game that's known for rampant toxicity, even amongst the best of the best, we were long overdue for content that looks to explain the game with a more critical eye towards its players. One last thing: While I understand its purpose in this video's framing, I'm not the biggest proponent of self-help content; much of it can shroud concrete human experiences in mystique, romanticize hardship and reduce introspection into a tool for achieving material success. It's a tremendously pedantic critique, as I don't think this deters from the message you're trying to communicate, but I still wanted to put it out there. This the kind of content we need if we aspire to improve our community. Keep up the good job!
Thank you for your kind words ❤️ It's interesting that you bring the point up about self help content and how it can romanticize hardship. It is true that introspection is necessary for growth, and it is something that has to be done as a personal journey and can not be replaced by someone else's story Thank you for giving me your perspective I haven't thought about it like that before
@@Sentrial I'd like to reiterate that I do appreciate everything you put forward in this video. There's as many systems of belief as people in the world, and the difference in how we see things is what makes these conversations valuable. Thank you for taking time to reply! I'm confident you can get pretty far here.
Seems very consistent with what Coach Curtis and Nathan talk about on BBC. Congrats on climbing but more importantly on getting your life into a better state - people forget how important that is. League might have been the motivation, and that’s exactly why trying hard and having passion for something is important for your growth as an individual overall.
I came to this video while i was driving to see if it matched up with my experiences as i started this game in Season 2 and only after playing the game for more than 10+ years did i finally reach challenger. This video ultimately made me look further than that as climbing solo queue is fundamentally similar to climbing the social ladder in real life. This is probably one of the best videos on climbing as you really do need to be able to stay positive and maintain a constructive critical attitude toward yourself to succeed in ranked and probably in life as well. 10/10 video. I will subscribe 🙏.
I litteraly NEVER comment anything. This time, i had too. Congratulation for the writing, the editing, going to challenger and the advancement in your path of finding who you are and loving you for exactly that and nothing else. As Master oogway taught us : Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery but today is a gift and that is why we call it the present. Again : Congrats x1500. Strengh and honor my friend.
As a fellow BBC’er, I can only applaud your performance. But damn man, this is a flawless montage, perfectly articulated. I hope to see more content from you and I know you can succeed in anything now, congratulations for unlocking your true self along the way. Loved the dedication, thank you 🙏🏻
inspiring video bro, ill make sure i come back a few times during the year when i feel myself plateau. hoping to hit diamond this year and complete a year at university studying fulltime without withdrawing from any units when it gets hard. im going to hold myself accountable with the my gym and training, and im going to learn from my mistakes and try my absolute hardest every game. And thats all thanks to this reminder from yourself to stay on track. Goodluck with your future endeavours!
This video is teaching me more than making it to challenger on league. I really appreciate it man you don't understand. Kinda makes me a little emotional.😂 "The most constraining feeling in the world is living in what if's" Man, I FELT that. I do it so much in life outside of league.
having this type of take on "smaller things in life" such as videogames is a huge advantage for us people. because once we already have this mindset within us, we'll surely apply it to other things that we do, it becomes a lifestyle -- a mantra that we constantly chant whatever life keeps throwing at us.
Idk what to say, I came just imagining that would be a normal video, but I when I talked about confident, and are the exact same feelings that I have, idk, I think this video is really precious, everyone who wants to improve, should watch this
Thank you, Sentrial, for this video. I have now played non stop every day and have gone from silver 1 to bronze 2. I hope to take your words to heart and hopefully make it to Gold IV one of these days. You are a true inspiration.
I appreciate the tips that we can apply to League and our lives (I normally play WR considering I don't have a pc but I'm definitely applying these now considering I'm stressed at school)
Being in a progress state of mind while grinding league because of free time. Seeing the same concepts applied by you being convertable to my own life. Thanks for the thoughts behind your video. Love the way you brought that to a wide range of different people. Your a real human in an unreal world adressing problems many feel in their every day life and in certain aspect of their life. Keep it up, we grow together and get further as we shall do. Much love
this is possibly one of the best videos i have ever seen. i like people who can look outside of gaming and put real life philosophy / psychology back into gamers. Alot of the younger people i meet i usually tell them their learning habits and some parts of who they are at the moment as a person can be dictated by how they play what games they play and how they get good or enjoy the game. if you are good at gaming the world is your oyster you can make anything happen. if your bad thats ok too we can learn how you learn to help you people become better people. gaming is different for many people. once again fantastic video!!
I've been playing since Season 3 and initially placed in Silver, with my peak reaching Platinum. After taking a break, I now find myself struggling to advance beyond Bronze. Mentally, I'm also not at my best; I've felt stagnant throughout my life. To gain some control, I recently left my stable job and decided to return to my interests, such as League, while focusing on my final year of university. I watched this video to think about my ranking, but it ended up prompting some self-reflection. I know why I want the rank so bad, I want validation that I did not waste all my time that I am good at this game, but it doesn't even matter anymore. You made me realize that. Unsure about what brings me peace. At this point, I'm not even seeking happiness, just peace. Advice to anyone young, always strive to improve - in your personal growth, in your relationships, and in your endeavors. I did not, and now it feels like I'm just picking up the pieces that keep falling off. These pieces represent lost opportunities, neglected personal growth, and overlooked relationships. This video made me self reflect a lot, I genuinely don't know who I am anymore.
Wonderfully put together video, as someone who is a very big fan of the things that Coach Curtis preaches I feel like you really let that soak in and put it to the next level, respect!
I came to see if there was some useful info for climbing, and here I am in tears at 15 minutes mark because this all resonates just all too well with my current state of mind, state of life and the relationship I am in right now. You surprised me, shocked me even, and I am deeply thankful that you made this video.
I mean, if this helps someone get motivated, then that's great. Personally, I really tried to take this video seriously but just couldn't. These are the same motivational speeches I've heard a million times before. Still, there's people out there that this video will help, so overall, great video man. Not for me, but great video.
Not sure why did yt recommend me this video, and tbh most of the things you say aren't even things that I needed to listen or can help me (some yes tho), but watching this video made me be really emotional and motivated me really hard.
Man, what an awesome video. I wish you luck brother. Keep it up, and keep applying yourself - it doesn't stop at challenger, it doesn't stop at great relationships, it only stops when you let it 💪
Wow. I didn't know what to expect watching this, and if I saw this video a few years ago I would have definitely clicked off wondering why the fuck you think cleaning your room has anything to do with hitting challenger. But from my current perspective, experiencing the things I have experienced, you hit the nail right on the head. This video is exactly what I needed to hear; how confidence doesn't come from your ability to succeed, but from your ability to be okay with failure, and how honesty with ones self and committing to making better decisions for your own well being directly relates to League of Legends. This isn't just a how to hit challenger in League of Legends video. This is a how to hit Challenger at life video. Believe it or not this video almost moved me to tears, perhaps because I feel like I can relate this to my own personal life, and League journey. I failed at hitting masters this year, but you've reminded me that just because I failed at hitting a goal, it doesn't mean that I am a failure. I don't have to be afraid to make a mistake, or hate myself for doing what I thought was best at that time. Regardless of my rank at the end of the year, I am still enough. My league rank does not determine my self worth. At the end, tying it back to the final break through of the genius concept of "mental priming," and showcasing your highlights on your final push to challenger, it's as if I was right there with you, roaring at your every successful Taliyah W, holding my breath through every close call, and celebrating every win as you inch closer and closer to that Challenger lp cutoff (insane plays btw). That for me was the final nail in the coffin that solidifies this video as more than just a guide, more than just a documentation of your journey, this video is an artistic masterpiece from start to finish. I am certain this video is by far the most valuable "how to climb" video ever created. I cannot commend you enough. If there is one thing that I want you to know from all this, is that you truly touched my soul with this one. You truly, deeply moved me to write this essay of a comment just for the chance that you might see this and know my appreciation. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, and congratulations! You have no idea how valuable this video was for me. This is exactly everything I needed to hear at this point in my life, and league journey right now. This is the first video I have ever seen from you, and it's definitely not the last. I'm sure its been one hell of a journey for you, it was also really good to hear you say it was worth it in the end. And with that I say, Good luck on your future endeavors man, wish you the best keep going!! You're doing incredible. See you in Chally soon.
Thank you so much man, those words truly mean the world to me because I wanted to get across that feeling and really show people a new perspective on climbing and bettering yourself. Thanks you for taking the time to write this ❤
3:40 I think this is one of the more important things to learn. Being able to recognize what needs to be done, when it needs to be done is important but hard to do if you aren't consciously reviewing your own actions throughout a game.
Thank you, I'm at a point where I'm trying to change things in my life including a struggle with self confidence and fear of failure, and this is a huge help and inspiration. You're helping a lot of people change their lives for the better and I think it's great of you to share your perspective like this. Thank you again for making this video, I really think that it is amazing.
I'm committed in a totally different path, but my words resonated so much with me that I perceived you like a friend. Thank you so much for your perspective, you spoke truth at all levels.
This is incredible! Never have I seen a league video, which would teach so much about life outside league and personal inner world. My eyes were opened wide once and agains as you showed qll of these inspirational, knowledgeable people. I felt deeply the revolution part. I felt the discomfort realizing, that I myself am taking the long way round. Stagnating, making easier choices, building reaentment. I will definitely come back to process it properly. Thank you for your work. I am sure this video will genuenly help many people, regardless of the number of views you'll get
holy fk i got goosebumps watching this. im literally about to shed tears but im in the middle of work so that would be awkward lol. I have felt stagnated for the last 10 years of my life, and this just gave me a whole perspective shift on my life. im going to be saving this video and watching it again in the future to truly soak the knowledge. came for league content, left with life lessons. thank you for this man truly. hope all goes well for you on your future endeavors. P.S. this video deserves waaay more views
Subscription earned. That was the most philosophical video that transcends video games and hit at the heart of life and becoming what you want to be and what something like that takes. Thank you for making this ❤.
tbh i was just pushing for a change in my life not the game and by this point, this just feels like a huge light up neon sign, so yeah rather then just saying congrats i think i owe it to you to say thank you
This video came in at the right time, especially about the validation part. I had to let some league friends go due to our disagreement. We weren’t right for each other, but I was afraid to let them go due to the validation I received from them. It was hard to do, but it was the right decision for all of us.
As someone who is currently playing collegiate league, this video was exactly what I needed to start focusing harder on my gameplay and make bigger changes. Great video
this is kinda exactly what I needed bc I relate with your whole story, it feels like this video was designed for me lol. Incredible video, very well edited and narrated
Very well said and thank you for your sincerity and honesty ❤️ Best part about Catching Dreams is who you have to "become" to catch each and every one of them. Evolve consistently Brothers & Sisters.
I cam back to league after tryharding in valorant, i found that playing with my best friend and really tryharding with everything we know. WE started using both our brains and playing actively to realize what was important to gain in the game, we also started having carries in every game, probably because of our mmr. Yes we lost sometimes but now we play tft with same commander communication and stuff and we really help each other with having the right focuses, and we most of all just enjoy the game, and so we get luckier and our influence is better because we start focusing on the correct things and we win more. We now have a winstreak of 4 in TFT and its fcking fun to play now. Mostly because we try, and we enjoy playing together and enjoy the different aspects of the game :)
Mate, this was amazing. Thank you for your honesty, i saw a lot of similarities in our stories, and you truly inspire with your storie. I am so glad you achieved your goal, and your mental is great. This video is amazing, hope to see some more content from you
I myself had the same realisation the last 6 months, I became more aware of the things that made me happy and the unhealthy habits i had developed hindering me in league but more importantly in life. As i took action i saw great resulst as time went by in life and league became more enjoyable. This season I started iron 4 and finished diamond 4 on a game I've been playing since season 5 mostly for shits and gigs. I will continue working on myself throughout this year academically and I will continue building healthy habits (gym, relationships, sleep, diet, etc..) to everyone that are having a rough time just know it all gets better with time as long as you put in the work and have a positive mindset.
This is literally me... dreaming of hitting Challenger but limited entirely by the destruction of my own life. This is an amazing video, I'm going to commit this time.
I kind of realized this after so many years of falling short of Diamond that there were internal issues that I had. That no matter what i picked, what strategy I would go for, I wouldn't succeed because there are internal and external factors and life issues that are effecting me. I greatly appreciate this video you made and I will definately take into account your experiences while going through mine.
First 3 acts remind me so much of myself, I just realized all the things in my brain keeping me stuck so I'm yet to finish my journey, tho it's just the start ^^ Thanks for the video!
Really well made video. Definitely got me in my feels and recentering and focusing on my own journey and self. Loved the pacing and tempo, clips, and music. Absolute banger of a video! Congratulations on Challenger after 9 years grind and dedication!
surprisingly a very informational video, came for league advice as i am hardstuck emerald rn, and stayed for the introspection on life, and how to view improvement. Love it.
This is a real content. Dreaming of a world with less click bait, less mediocrity, I imagine it with fewer videos, less "bombing", and content like this. I'm not going to add anything else that hasn't already been said in the other comments but I'll ask a question: and now? :)
> goes into video expecting climbing tips
> recieves life altering perspective change
> gets out of bed, cleans house, applies for jobs, and starts planning my future with newfound determination
> still hardstuck silver
edit: i got a job
still better than a lot of your future coworkers xD
We are the same person.. I cry D:
Came for League, stayed for the life lessons. Thanks brother ❤
Same
no shot i was gonna type the same thing 😂
Wtf i instead read the comments (or at leat the top comment, and yours brother is the one❤) before watching the video, and I thought "what does he mean by that?"
Now at 8:00 im not even sure i wanna try to be challenger anymore, just get better in things in life
Fr
ma man Sentrial is a Philosopher reincarnated and finally awoken Challenger Player!
Came to learn how to climb, walked away crying, what a story to tell
Can feel every little emotion that you talk about when making change
Now that's what a real montage of a climb is supposed to look like.. and sound like
Honestly, it's finally nice to see a video that is genuine and not another clickbait.
Good luck mate
Good luck mate @@PinkeySuavo
best of luck to you
dude im literally silver and don’t even play league anymore but still decided to watch the video, and hearing about how you translated the mindset from improving your overall life into league to hit challenger was surreal. im on that journey right now too and recognizing and resonating with the clips and Marcus Aurelius quote really hit me. this video definitely has helped to reinforce a lot of the concepts I’ve been trying to work on in my own life; self honesty, self actualization, and the whole confidence thing too. i struggled my entire life with massive insecurity and only through letting go of external expectations and learning to embrace rejection and failure have i finally overcome it. as you said, the feeling is truly liberating. amazing 10/10 video, im subbing. best of luck to you on your journey, and thank you for the important reminder to be mindful of my machine
Hidden Coach Curtis ad confirmed?!!
Okay but for real, this is an insanely good video. Your story also feels a bit personal because I can relate to a lot of what you said.
League Rank aside, this is such a profound message. Keep up the work.
Awesome video man, hope to see more stuff from you in the future!
Thank you so much!!
I just want to say thanks for putting together this video and inspiring to achieve a goal - I truly want - god bless.
you can do it! i believe in you :)
A masterpiece of a video man, not just about league but just life in general. Thanks for the wise words and motivation
Man... this is one of the best league videos I've seen.
Have a good day !
im going to be challenger
Maybe after 9 years
You'll get Master at minimum, King
Might take years but I believe in it
Im coming back 2 weeks after watching this and i just broke into challenger, refreshing tips not about meta as such but how to build stronger mental in game, thank you!
Good stuff mate
ty, now I have the confidence to quit ranked and just play 10 games per season to get my rank rewards, previously I always climbed to diamond, but nowadays, I dont have the time cuz of work and motiviation to climb to dia, especially if riot is forcing me to play actively through out the year with the season split system, lots of my friends quit the game for this reason as well, so yeah, its my time now
Real talk, probably one of the best "How to climb" videos I've ever seen. Respect+sub
It will not be easy I'm sure, but it will be rewarding if you choose to take on the challenge and conquer it
Good luck bro
It's incredibly well spoken how you could express your own league problem towards climbing combined with personal life issues. Great job, man!
“I always was around diamond” oh nvm lol. I thought this was some bronze to challenger stuck in silver hell, MMR tanked kinda journey.
bro if ur bronze just turn on your monitor and focus on the game
I needed this video not only for league, but for my life too. Thank you!
Didnt expect that from a league climbing vid but im pleasantly surprised
Thank you for your kind words ❤️
It's interesting that you bring the point up about self help content and how it can romanticize hardship. It is true that introspection is necessary for growth, and it is something that has to be done as a personal journey and can not be replaced by someone else's story
Thank you for giving me your perspective I haven't thought about it like that before
@@Sentrial I'd like to reiterate that I do appreciate everything you put forward in this video. There's as many systems of belief as people in the world, and the difference in how we see things is what makes these conversations valuable.
Thank you for taking time to reply! I'm confident you can get pretty far here.
THATS MY BBOY!! NEW VID HYPE
Well said
this shit aint about league of legends, its about life
Bro just casually drop biggest life lesson for us. Thanks bro❤
Kinda makes me a little emotional.😂
"The most constraining feeling in the world is living in what if's"
Man, I FELT that. I do it so much in life outside of league.
having this type of take on "smaller things in life" such as videogames is a huge advantage for us people. because once we already have this mindset within us, we'll surely apply it to other things that we do, it becomes a lifestyle -- a mantra that we constantly chant whatever life keeps throwing at us.
genuinely the best video on climbing ive ever seen. beautiful bro, masters rn this really making me get my ass in gear
Probably the best league of legends video ever to be made. I hope it impacts so many players. Thank you for sharing your journey
Wow incredibly unexpected video. Highly special and deep, I’m sure it hits close to home for a lot of people like us. Thanks
Much love
This hits hard. I wish everyone can watch this video before queueing up
this is possibly one of the best videos i have ever seen. i like people who can look outside of gaming and put real life philosophy / psychology back into gamers.
You surprised me, shocked me even, and I am deeply thankful that you made this video.
man this is gonna make a difference for people great video
I was not expecting to learn so much from this video. Thank you so much!
Came here for League, ended up getting a life changing story and insane motivation. Thank you.
Dang, I really needed this. Not just for League but for irl. Thanks for the brilliant video. And of course, congratulations.
I mean, if this helps someone get motivated, then that's great. Personally, I really tried to take this video seriously but just couldn't. These are the same motivational speeches I've heard a million times before.
Still, there's people out there that this video will help, so overall, great video man. Not for me, but great video.
thank you for sharing the idea of "confidence to fail." This really helps
the best piece of content ive seen from a small creator for years. This is in every regard a masterpiece
Not sure why did yt recommend me this video, and tbh most of the things you say aren't even things that I needed to listen or can help me (some yes tho), but watching this video made me be really emotional and motivated me really hard.
Wholesome comments ! So proud of you guys!
Keep grinding internally, in-game, and in real life!
Phenomenal video! This is why I love content creation. You never know when you might just stumble across someone that you resonate so deeply with.
Man, what an awesome video. I wish you luck brother. Keep it up, and keep applying yourself - it doesn't stop at challenger, it doesn't stop at great relationships, it only stops when you let it 💪
Brandon releasing banger after banger. Content machine
I am sure this video will genuenly help many people, regardless of the number of views you'll get
Came for league advice, almost cried on my lunch break. Thanks
holy fk i got goosebumps watching this. im literally about to shed tears but im in the middle of work so that would be awkward lol.
I came to the conclusion that Words cannot physically describe how high quality This video is.
I am in Coach Curtis' MLS right now and love it. Makes things simple to understand.
Really really solid video. Thanks for crediting the speakers so smoothly in the video! :)
tbh i was just pushing for a change in my life not the game and by this point, this just feels like a huge light up neon sign, so yeah rather then just saying congrats i think i owe it to you to say thank you
This video came in at the right time, especially about the validation part. I had to let some league friends go due to our disagreement. We weren’t right for each other, but I was afraid to let them go due to the validation I received from them. It was hard to do, but it was the right decision for all of us.
Wow, came here trying to climb and walked out crying. Felt so identefied. Great video.
As someone who is currently playing collegiate league, this video was exactly what I needed to start focusing harder on my gameplay and make bigger changes. Great video
I felt stuck for so long. And no not in league. This helped so much. Thank you
this is kinda exactly what I needed bc I relate with your whole story, it feels like this video was designed for me lol. Incredible video, very well edited and narrated
Very well said and thank you for your sincerity and honesty ❤️
Best part about Catching Dreams is who you have to "become" to catch each and every one of them. Evolve consistently Brothers & Sisters.
That was a therapy session i wasn't ready for nor expected when I clicked on the video.
I greatly appreciate this video you made and I will definately take into account your experiences while going through mine.
yes you need to clean your room and then you'll hit challenger
Already Almost done :)@@datboyvsd608
First 3 acts remind me so much of myself, I just realized all the things in my brain keeping me stuck so I'm yet to finish my journey, tho it's just the start ^^ Thanks for the video!
Awesome video! You put a lot of effort into it. I think it's cool how you overcame adversity, learned lessons, and achieved your goal.
beautiful video from start to finish. I appreciate this!
I will find my path, thank you, Sentrial.
Really well made video. Definitely got me in my feels and recentering and focusing on my own journey and self.
Loved the pacing and tempo, clips, and music. Absolute banger of a video! Congratulations on Challenger after 9 years grind and dedication!
I think this is a new reference video for me, there it is, everything required to win games: the mental.
surprisingly a very informational video, came for league advice as i am hardstuck emerald rn, and stayed for the introspection on life, and how to view improvement. Love it.
thank you for sharing your story, loved every bit of it.
This is a real content. Dreaming of a world with less click bait, less mediocrity, I imagine it with fewer videos, less "bombing", and content like this.
I'm not going to add anything else that hasn't already been said in the other comments but I'll ask a question: and now? :)
