The 45-3 December 2010 loss to the Patriots was worse. It just doesn’t feel that way now because we beat them in the playoffs later that year for revenge.
It took my buddy, a huge Pats fan, 3 or 4 years to recover from that playoff loss. The 45-3 dominant win in the regular season made it all the more painful for him.
That playoff game maybe the last great moment for Jets fans.

To answer your question (for the record i am a browns fan living in ohio) It is New York. If you can make this team a winner they will put you in the Hall and you can do commercials the rest of your life even if you have a career losing record and throw more Int then TDs, it only takes one SB. Possibly even even just an appearance.

I’m a Colts fan not a Jets fan but if you want to be fair the other 0 won teams in NFL played back when the NFL still allowed teams to play Defense that’s why you don’t see any 36pt blowouts.

No shift, no LB to the line-nothing. Nothing. The most heartbreaking JETS moment in my 63 years.

John Elway did the same thing. He was drafted by the Baltimore Colts (remember them?), and said he wouldn't play for them. He was finally traded to Denver. So if the Jets drafted Lawrence, they would probably get quite a bit for him in a trade.

Been a Jets fan all my life. Pretty much given up; I cant even watch the games anymore. I don't trust this organization's owners and front office to make good decisions. Their collective ability to wreck a player is much greater than any single players ability to overcome the coaching staff and personnel around him. They will wreck Trevor Lawrence. Along with getting Trevor...you also need the right coaches around him, a good roster, and an organization that is willing...and capable of getting those things in house. I am not even a Jets fan...and I fear for Trevor. Hate to see the game beaten out of these kids in a year or 2. But, there is a reason the average career is hovering under 4 years.
Rich, it isn't even hard to stomach at this point in the season. The Stages of Grief finished up weeks ago. The Jets are doing what we know them to do, elevate losing and mediocrity to High Art fit for the MOMA.

Disregard whether or not we draft Trevor - the value of the #1 pick alone b/c of the hype behind this kid is worth every ounce of going 0-16. If we win one game and lose that pick, we'll never look back and go "Thank goodness we won that one game!" Winning this season is the single most dumb thing we can do. I'm glad Seattle beat us handedly, saved Jets fans from having a heart attack this week like we did versus Vegas. Getting the #1 pick is our greatest reward for this mess of a season, let's not mess that up, too.
