For those who say that the different races are the equivalent of different species, learn the facts. Human is ONE species. We just happen to have different characteristics. Those varied characteristics are attributed to our physical surroundings and lifestyles. Color, height, weight, hair type, etc. Chihuahuas have different characteristics and yet you don't see white chihuahuas mating only with white chihuahuas, black horses mating only with black horses, or brown cows mating only with brown cows. Forced multiculturalism is one thing. But for those who choose to marry outside their race or culture, it's their God-given rights to do so. It is none of our damn business!!
I'm in a similar position as you. I'm an American of Hispanic descent who's come to be romantically interested in non-Hispanics; but due to a similar stigma, I'm somewhat of an outcast too (feeling at times intimated to even begin an interracial relationship). My only advice to you would be to learn how to appreciate woman of your own heritage as much as you appreciate non-Indian women. If anything, having the spirit of an American while ethnically being Hispanic makes life interesting for me.
It's really nice to see there are many people who know what's important in relationships and love - certainly not color of your skin. My boyfriend is Korean and I am from Europe so on top of different race, we also have to deal with cultural differences, not speaking same language, etc. And you know what? i am of indian descent but having lived in the uk i feel more western than indian, in fact the only thing indian about me is my skin tone. i am attracted to european/british/american women, unfortunately in this day and age of increased interracial dating, indian men are still stigmatised and excluded and looked down upon, despite me feeling as western as the next white man. i want out of the indian culture. i feel like a complete outcast but at least i know who i am.
only reason diann farr went that way is because she already went through a first "marriage" where she wanted to marry a standard good white guy and had to settle.
