Lookin Out My Back Door, Green River, Down On The Corner, Up Around the Bend,, Proud Mary, Born on the Bayou, Traveling Band, Fortunate Son... here are a few to start 😂😂
Excellent choices. Well done. Might suggest Run Through the Jungle, additionally.
They live not too far from me Lodi. Well at least John
Lodi, Who’ll Stop The Rain, Lookin Out My Back Door, Fortunate Son
He also had returned from Vietnam before all of there success
Pretty much any of these. “Up around the bend” is a summer song of the highest order.
CCR, I Put a Spell on You, Born on the Bayou, Lodi, The Midnight Special, Proud Mary, Up Around the Bend, Down on the Corner,
You could throw a dart at Chronicle and any song it hits play it, they’re all masterpieces.
Run Through the Jungle
Fortunate Son
Yeah, zg-...wg4s Run Through the Jungle is a really cool one, too.
I have always been in awe of John’s voice. He really felt what he was singing. 🏄♂️
Proud Mary
You could throw a dart at Chronicle and whatever song you hit, play it. They are all masterpieces. I love Lodi, Who’ll stop the rain, and Someday never comes which was kind of a swan song for CCR.
My Daddy loved this song..I think of him everytime it rains...
and darlin', here in Florida it is not uncommon to have bright, sunny skies and at the same exact time sporadic spats of torrential rain. Cue the fun game I would endlessly play every summer as I found myself meandering down the I-4 corridor.. I'm a Florida girl, through and through, and at least once a week you'd find me scooting off to some fun-filled destination, convertible top down, devouring the sun's buttery rays like manna from heaven. Especially come springtime the rains become mighty jealous of the sun's boastful beams and would, unprompted, peevishly pour puddles from the puffy clouds above. Not to be outdone, the sun would shine a sizzling strobe, sweetly satiating my soul as Bradley strummed his songs Sublimely, and I, completely topless, would marvel at Mother Earth's magnificence..the skies above showcasing a radiant rainbow smile.

I'm 65 and this was first released when I was 8 or 9 years old . First heard it when my sister bought the LP . She was a teen 6 years older than me. Good music is timeless . Enjoy your honest reaction .
One of the top five American bands ever!
One of those bands that every one of their songs was great. They got a ton of hits but everything else in between is fantastic too, and lots of fan favorites.
That is definitely an organ! That's one thing I love about their sound is that the organ shows up now and then. If you want one that will really rip your heart out and also really features the organ a lot, check out their hit "Hideaway (Wish I Could)".
They have a bunch of longer songs as well, plenty to choose from. Check out one of their first hits and a huge fan favorite, from their first album, "Suzie Q". It's a hypnotic jam and some great singing and lots of atmosphere and a chill groove, and it's several minutes long.
That's a classic Hammond B3 organ...played by John Fogerty.
Up around the bend, sweet hitch-hiker, hey tonight, I put a spell on you, green river, born on the bayou. Im looking forward to this.
Fortunate son,
Midnight special ❤
Bad Moon Rising is a very good song.
Green River
My favorite band of all time. So many many hits. You can’t go wrong with any song. One of my favorites is Green River.
The song is about the inevitable of the band as they where starting to fall apart. There was always a lot of internal conflict.
"I Put A Spell On You" another great CCT song

John Fogerty, one of the all time great voices. Try "Heard it Through the Grapevine" THE best version of that song.
Green River, Midnight Special, Lookin' Out My Backdoor nothing from CCR is bad! Born On The Bayou is a must.
Run through the jungle was a favorite for our servicemen during Nam. And their remake of Ike and Tina Turners Proud Mary was great as well.
Great review! “Lodi” and “Someday Never Comes” - great songs, under appreciated
John Fogerty is coming to Milwaukee soon, can't wait to see him!
They got so many. But two of mine are.. Born on the Bayou...and Fortunate Son.
Run through the jungle. I freaking love this song too, the snare at the end 👍 Great reaction as usual my friend and Peace out 🙏 ✌️ ☮️
"I Put A Spell On You" live at Woodstock, and "Long As I Can See The Light" studio version. CCR is one of the three greatest bands of all time.
Love CCR! My top favorites are Heard It Through the Grapevine ( 12 minute version), I Put A Spell On You, Proud Mary, Looking Out My Back Door, Fortunate Son, and Lodi. But there are so many more.
Only 6? Lord have mercy!
Born On The Bayou
Long As I Can See The Light
Lodi
Green River
Up Around The Bend
Run Through The Jungle
There is a whole shitload more brother. CCR were an awesome band.
And the instrument is an organ.
Check out CCR’s version of ‘I Heard It Through The Grapevine’
I remember playing this on my record player over and over as a 14 year old in 71
To me it has two or more meanings. It sounds like something a grandparent would say to you. It can mean bad weather, or the rain can mean you're really going through something hard in life, and today, you're having a really tough day. It's coming down a flood today....
Old Man Down the Road. Peace brother
Great Reaction 👍🙏💯😎
That sound from the organ is from a speaker called a lesley.!!🥰
Born on the Bayou, Heard it through the Grapevine, Put a Spell on You, Fortunate One, Susie Q, Down on the Corner, Stuck in Lodi, Heard it Through the Grapevine, Ling as I Can See the Light. Have fun!!!!
Never really understood all the lyrics, but its a song you can't help loving. Definitely check out "Fortunate Son".
OG Banger.
Forgotten CCR songs that are great 1) Long As I Can See the Light 2) Cotton Fields 3) Someday Never Comes 4) Run Thru the Jungle 5) Born on the Bayou 6) Lodi You can't go wrong with any of these. I would suggest the long version if available on a couple of them.
A Lot Of Yall From That Time 🤣😂🤣 This has been my fav band since 1968 . " That sound" is a Hammond organ, LOng As I Can See The Light, Run Thru The Jungle. Born On The Bayou. Down On The Corner. Looking Out My Back Door. 5 Bangers for you ✌❤
Four hits, and two deep grooves:
1. Proud Mary
2. Fortunate Son
3. Born on the Bayou
4. I Put a Spell on You
5. Penthouse Pauper
6. Effigy
I work 2 blocks from fantasy records in berkeley where this was recorded. That is a leslie organ with a rotary speaker. It creates a vibrato sound... My favorite LESLIE sound is Booker T And the MG's................listen to green oinions, or any BOOKER T AND THE MG's...They backed the blues brothers in the 80's
Heard it through the grapevine is a great track
Looking Out my Back Door, and Down on the Corner, please!
not enough people saying Lookin out my back door.
Nice reaction. A few other CCR songs - Green River , Born On The Bayou , Proud Mary , The Midnight Special. A few other " Rain " songs - Clint Black - Like The Rain ; Dee Clark - RainDrops , Eddie Rabbit - I Love A Rainy Night are a few for consideration.
Soooo good 😊
Check out fortunate son by CCR. #Creeksquad ✌️
That Hammond B3 was everywhere back then. Not too many bands feature it so much anymore. Too bad, it was often that "special sauce" that made certain songs pop. I love all the suggestions but had to laugh at limiting CCR fans to 5 or 6 songs.
Ramble Tamble, Suzy Q, Born on the Bayou, I Put a Spell on You, I Heard it Through the Grapevine and Keep on Chooglin’.
Run Through the Jungle
Green River
Lodi
Run through the Jungle….. I Put a Spell on You……
Oh ya there's more of that RARE white soul, lol. Love ya man
Yeah, zg-...wg4s Run Through the Jungle is a really cool one, too.
Lodi is great.
All songs at that time had to be short to get played on AM Radio, the longer songs did not come out until FM Radio came out, the earlier stuff had long songs but they did not get airtime.
Centerfield which is after the CCR years is another toe tapper from Mr. Fogerty.
Hey Taka here …..love this❤️❤️❤️❤️
Dave the Juggler here, hey Taka how you been, had Kathleen stay with me for a couple weeks, but she's got a place now. I miss your pies.
Who'll Stop the Rain
Run Through the Jungle
Green River
Up Around the Bend
Long As I Can See the Light
Lodi
Yes it’s an organ. The were big fans of Booker T. And MG’s
I always thought the lyric was "sun is cold and rain is hot".
Susie Q
Fortunate Son, Long As I Can See The Light, Suzy Q (the long version), Bad Moon Risin', I Put A Spell On You, Proud Mary, Who'll Stop The Rain, ...
for you its going to be "I put a Spell on you" live at Woodstock ! I put a money on you
Hey Mugnify! Per your request, check out CCR's Lodi, Bad Moon Rising, Lookin' Out My Back Door and Fortunate Son. Enjoy!!!
Great reaction, a few other great CCR songs would be Born On The Bayou. I Put A Spell In You, and Fortunate Son.
Live or Video 50s threw 80s 😊
99 amd a half by ccr funky and bluesy
You need to listen to somebody play the Hammond Organ who really knows what they're doing! Green Eyed Lady by Sugarloaf is one of the best examples you'll ever hear. It'll knock your socks off!! I mean its outta sight!🧓🎭🎸
"Rain is Hot" hard is a misprint. Hard makes no sense, hot is the opposite of cold.
Am radio in the car
Plenty of people below mentioning all the good CCR songs, so if you're willing to go a solo song, I love Centerfield by John Fogerty.
Hard rain=bombs falling
Suzie Q long version. You get to enjoy it a little longer.
That may be an electric keyboard.
….preferably the album tracks not radio edits !
1) The Midnight Special
2) Run Through The Jungle
3) Susie Q
4) I Put A Spell On You
5) I Heard It Through The Grapevine ❤️
I hope you get to my song you're going to love it😂
That instrument sounds like a Hammond organ to me.
Put me in coach. I can play.
R u feeling it tho..mug
,jus curious?
Who will stop the rain
ok, this has been driving me nuts, don't mean to be rude, but what is that blue thing in your mouth?
