Nice work as always . Just painted cream and some frames in grey with superdec over mahogany all round the house Took 5 coats of cream only 2 of grey but a really easy and nice product to use. Covers everything so well and a dream to apply.
He most likely spot primed any bare wood then after dried, applied two coats. This paint is self priming and undercoating then the 2nd coat would be the top coat. All from the same tin 😬 brilliant stuff !
Looks like you get a good tough gloss finish. So just from a maintenance point of view, best use that more often (and spend less time on it). I normally use (aftermclean with sugar soap and sand/scrape) dulux quick dry primer/undercoat followed by dulux gloss. So with Sadolin all in one, you have saved many trips up the ladder, and can then use thatntime and effort more constuctively elsewhere. Many thanks.
Another great job. One things for sure, yourself & your Brother won’t be short of work with the standard you set 👍🏼 Don’t know about you guys, I’ve never been busier during this lockdown 😷 exterior work, and empty rentals 👍🏼 Thanks again.
Good stuff that Sadolin....stays white and never seems to split or crack open.I'm never sure though how to deal with knots......they say never use a shellac coating under a breathable paint ? Maybe Crown P.S.B primer is the answer ?
Using Superdec Satin ( Walnut) on a conservatory tomorrow . It is lovely stuff to use. Is the recoat time not 16 hours on the Gloss as it is with the Satin then ?
what normaly do I wrap a peas off towel on each sid off the ladder to give extra stability to the ladder I love the way you secure the bottom off the ladder love the video I definitely try that new paint you used.
Great video I had to do something similar with a very low ladder angle recently, painting fascia board above a lean to extension nice to see someone else using weights to counter the low angle. Everyone seems to use straps and drill eyelets into the brickwork which I've never liked.

Wow your such a perfectionist . your work is fantastic.
Thanks.
Great video! Just a tad confused though.. did you do 2 coats of the white or 3? Was the prime and undercoat the same paint?

All in one is daft.
Primer is cheaper.
Finish paint is harder

Love that superdec stuff 👌
Yes not bad at all.
1:23 , serious angle on the ladder
Are them Dulux brushes synthetic or mixed. And are they any good for inside work

You can use shellac to spot prime knots no problem.
Hey very helpful video, thanks.
Just a quick one - is this Superdec stuff better than Dulux Weathershield ?
Thanks
Could not say have not used the water based weather shield only the oil. But can imagine they are about the same. Thanks
Top job! Love Superdec!
Thanks.
You surely had your physical exercise for the week ;)

It all depends on temperature and air movement and what your painting, on a flat surface that dries fast no problem.

nice video, great job you can't beat Sadolin Supadec, cheers
Fantastic job
Is that oil based paint
its a hybrid paint alkyd mixed with water
Superdec is perfect for this. Lasts so long.
Nice one👍🏼
Thanks.
Save your legs take the primer up with you where all getting on a bit
That ladder angle 😮😮😮 ‘it’s not going anywhere’ 🤔
It was secure at the bottom.
