I love the little place at 19:25 just to the left there's a loo for a quick break and the air is just so clean and fresh, a babbling stream goes under the road too. Idyllic!
Loving the trip content so far, I'm on episode 2. I own a 1969 Honda Supercub C-102, the old pushrod 50 cc engined bike. I've remotored it with a pitbike 125cc 4 speed with manual clutch engine. Just over 17K miles on this bike. Not quite as plush riding as the new Cub, as the pitbike engine is apt to push it along at speeds it's brakes are barely safe for. It will do an easy 40 to 45 mph cruise.
The super Cub is a far better tourer and quicker than most people give it credit for. Mine gets used for long trips and will be off to Spain in the spring to ride up the length of France with a group of friends. Certainly capable of 70 kph averages even on these roads. Greatly enjoyed your trip.
Thanks! For many "Western" riders, 125cc bikes seem to be toys. Almost everywhere else on the planet, it's just a standard motorized two-wheeled vehicle. Safe travels!
Well done you we’re lucky with the weather , what can be 21c 70f in the valley can be 8c 46f at the top of the col even in bright sunshine have fun stay safe
10:11 The leg lift normally means “hello” or “thank you”. I think it probably meant both in this case because you gave them lots of room to overtake. Keep up the great work with the videos, I’m really enjoying them. I also have a Cub like yours and hope to take it over the Alps at some point. 👍
Much appreciated and thx for clarifying! I strongly recommend taking the Cub over the Alps. It was my first big trip and I was quite nervous. But everything worked out super fine.
Well very nice driving but these mirrors are not corrected adjusted and you forgot the high beam durring the day to be more visible on this kind of driving to the mountains ,..!!!!
Thanks for sharing your trip, great bike to adventure on, probably better than a big bike to go round the alpes on. Would you recommend the mirror extensions, do they make a big difference? Many thanks.
Hi, much appreciated! The mirror extension definitely make a big difference. Without them, the mirrors are almost useless and I already am small and slim... got the extensions from a German shop. You might get on ebay.com. Cheers!
very good wished i had got the 125 but i got the 350 instead because it was twist and go,if i had seen your video before i would have got the 125 the 350 is too heavy.
Hi, interesting remark as I also looked at the Honda SH350 and Vespa GTS 300. Both of them were way too heavy for my taste. Cub is ideal weight-wise. Even if it drops. Pick it up like a bicycle (almost).

Lovely scenery indeed!

Hello, merci pour les vidéos. J’ai également un cub et je suis sur Genève

Maybe he had gas.😅
How fast are you going on the straights, like at 32:00
Usually 80 kmh. Above that it really starts to get shaky and vibrates uncomfortably. Top speed is probably 95 kmh. Cheers
Bonjour, merci pour ces belles vidéos. Comment réussissez vous à brancher vos GPS ? Merci.

What makes you think the mirrors are not correctly set up? It's perfectly fine for me 🙂

Thanks for your reply, I will order some and hopefully see what's behind me, LOL

Good job friend. Can you tell us how tall you are.. And: Are you comfortable on the cub?
Hi, I am 170cm, 75cm inseam length. Bike fits perfectly, but being taller would be suboptimal. It really is a smaller bike I think.
