I learned that if you make the river deeper, it will change from Salmon to Tuna or if you make the water shallow, it will turn into shell fish, you don't have to move any of your fishing harbors if you don't want to but it can be more cheeper on your wallet just moving the harbor, just something to remember if you have plenty of cash to dredge out the river or infill it,
I never would have thought to make a loop to reverse traffic flow at a cargo train terminal, thank you for another awesome video.
I was going to say that technically it's not solved because you still have traffic cross over lanes to go out of the station, but he noticed it already :)
@@MaartenvanHeek It's a lot smoother cross-over than before, though.
I guess I would have left the original street direction and moved the cargo terminal to the other direction. Not too realistic, though.
@@PauxloE at first I though he was going to do that too lol
He can add a bridge on the exit and connect on the right side and they won't interfere anymore
Same here
I wonder how many unintentional puns he made.
E-fish-ient
This new e-fish-ient line turns out to be a great net profit!
As a city technician & manger - you’re pretty much unsurpassed. I learn so much. My only constructive feedback is that it’s most of the videos are so far zoomed out. I get that’s the case to highlight the layout of the infrastructure, but we rarely get to see the beauty of your city & the assets *as you build*. Aside from when you construct road & rail layouts, if you could zoom in a little more when zoning & detailing, it would offer even more learning opportunities for people like me.
Great, great series & channel nonetheless 👍🏻
Thanks for the feedback, it makes sense and I'll keep it in mind!
This really was some good feedback. I concur!
It's fun to see the way you can control the lanes without mods like the traffic manager. The loop for the train station was really good. Maybe make a bridge of the road so the trucks coming from the station enters the main road from the right side.
This man's knowledge on lane control is a godsend to console players.
Bro i have to say, i had 1000 hours to this game in 2016, and i have not played since then.
I came across your videos and i just sat back and watched.
Boy you made me wanna play again, i just bought some dlcs i've missed and i will start my new city soon.
Thanks for the quality content and your enjoyable company. Keep it up!
Yes, it's that time again. T4rget is back!
The amount of helpful hints in this one are incredible. Makes me want to redo my city to make it even more efficient.
e-FISH-ent.
The wait for this episode felt like ages, t4rget is amazing
one thing ive learned while watching your videos is that you dont need everything right away. you can wait until your city grows large enough. i use to shove as much factories and stuff as i could to make my city look booming but its actually the opposite of it. you make videos simple and easy enough for us to catch our mistakes. thanks. :D
that's an insane profit! congrats on the 40k
hey man thanks for the tip on the fishing harbour track lengths!. didn't give that a thought . cheers
I want to live in this city.
I was about to write this and just saw it 😂❤️
Started on this series, then saw you had another one and started that one as well 😅 definitely love your. Videos T4rget keep it up!
Congrats on 40K
Well done T4rget.
Biffa will be proud with that lane design of that cargo hub
Yepper, currently that's the only way to merge lanes effectively without mods.
With your Videos you brought me back to play Cities Skylines again. Ive really got overwhelmed by using mods.
I needed 2 hours to build a beautiful roundabout and after that i realised ive need a whole city around it and was overstrained.
But without mods, youve build a really nice city.
Your city even without mods looks so organic and natural.
I have bad experience with mega assets and moded cities. Last time my City loaded with only vanila buildings. That's why i'm gonna start new map without any assets but with most needed mods.
Good video! :)
I think, that exit from cargo terminal you should be better make under the elevated highway
You can do it this without any mods alone is awesome
Your city looks so clean and beautiful...
My city pales compared to his, and I use no mods either. He really did a good job on this one!
Awesome video, i struggle the most with "macro" highway road designs, yours are elegant and efficient, even with you doing them and explaining why you do them that way, i understand half of it, just enough to get that it's awesome, but i am so far from having the brain for thinking of them myself. I keep loading the game up and doing stuff though, so i might get there ^^.
Ho and side note : please just check your fishing routes until 50% to know when to make them come back, since they keep fishing on way back, seems more logical then checking them up to 100%
I hope you use unlock all tile mod (5*5) so we can see all the potential of the map
Haykal Ahmad I agree, that mod won’t really change the gameplay and it would let you use the true potential of the map, and use the space available bettered
I think he can finish the city without mods and then add them in the end just to expand on it
Today I had a horrible day. Fortunately, I finish working, come to TH-cam and find there's a new episode of Design & Manage. You just made my day a lot better
I like how you manipulate the cars by drawing the lanes a certain way.
Short and sweet episode! I haven't played City Skylines for a while so I had no idea this industry was introduced. Looking great.
I LEARNED WAY MORE THAN I EXPECTED. THANK YOU!
These series have been a great learning tool for me. I thank you very much for all the work and teachings.
3:56 For a short moment I was a bit confused, lol. Great video.
Just a well trained multi mouse user at work... 😏
Loving the videos Target! Design and Manage might probably be the best unmodded C:S series I have ever watched!
PS. The backlight is quite good.
You really inspire me with your layouts and you really know what the words design and manage mean
Thanks for the like☺
If/when that little loop by the fishing village cargo station doesn't work out: you could have simply turned the cargo station round the other way and run the one-way round underneath it
i'm a huge fan but i think u're going too fast in this lasts videos. i appreciate when u do things slowly and u can see better, like design & manage season 1 and the first episodes of this series
Good day, Target! Another fun episode! What a rich coast our city has XD All the salmon and tuna!!
These videos are great. I am beyond impressed by your knowledge of everything. Thank you for making such great videos!
Hi, question about something you said. If the sims don't care what type of fish they get, and you should maximize the fish output, why not go for only the highest output type? Would a farm type be better than any fishing route types if their yield is higher? Love your way of designing the curvy roads with no mods. Fun to watch!
The colours are on point.
A few minutes ago I was literally sad because I thought there were no updates but then.... wow 😂😂😂
You just had to move the cargo train terminal to the other side of the road. Then you also won't need to build a bridge over the railway and build this strange loop
Great episode , but redesign the village, grid with history doesn't mean it's totally anarchist...You can make better use of space, you're pro that...
this guy can make real plan on real life tho
T4rget, tu é português? Tô vendo teus vídeos há umas três semanas e não consigo mais fazer outra coisa da minha vida. Abraço do Brasil!
I think he is european. But thats my thought.
He's Portuguese, he said that in his livestream on Twitch 2 weeks ago, and on the past when the first season of Design and Manage is still on..
thank you!
@@krasnamerah1926 Merci pour la clarification.
No biggie, fam.
Thanks for the videos, look forward to the next ones.
I guess that there is not a way out of the fishing village, or, at list, a short one.
Awesome video
Target, I have a question - why don't you use 81 tiles mod to unlock the whole map? To my understanding, you are building a city without building mods, so I wouldn't say this mod would betray your whole agenda. It would be really cool to see you using the whole map for your city design.
Waiting for S2E13 now ✨
That's a really good tip for the fishing routes 👍🏻, I never thought to check whether they were the right length.
Would it not have been easier to move the cargo train terminal to the other side of the road?
@15:40 That in real life would lead to many crashes.
The Eyeway to El.
Thank you!
I strive to be as good at this game as you are... one day
Hi,
I'm curious of what mod you used to hide the clouds/fog?
Great videos! :)
Next season make a city with 5 of the best unmodded builders and try to make it like a buacracy, see how that works out.
Nice video !
FISH!
I really love your series because there’s no mod and I prefer to play games that way
I click like first then i watch this video. Why?, Because there is always something to learn from t4rget to apply to your city. Like how to make fishing route&cargo very efficient
Hahaha, aku tadi bangunnya jam 8 pagi (2 A.M. on BST +1 zone), jadinya telat karena dia nguploadnya jam 1 pagi (7 P..M. on BST +1).... Jam 9 baru ngeh dia ngupload.
ive worked out the optimum amout of units for fishing routes is 152u
For the time being, for the time being.
I would love for you to utilize the 25 Tile mod. Just like the graphical mods you used before, this would not interfere with gameplay. It would only serve to enhance the viewer's experience. After all, that is what you do it for, right? Just sayin...
FINALLY!!!! FINALLY!! oh man i think i'm in love
Very efFISHient!
Just wondering why did you opt for a rail trade depot instead of one with ships with the water right there?
Lack of water trade connection
too much beautifull at night x)
Hey, t4rget one of your videos says it's private and I've been waiting for some time for episode 13, please fix if it 8a episode 13.😁😭
lo mejor
i know that it might be a stupid question but how do you get rid of pollution on industry. I see that there is no pollution on top of your fish factories and all the rest of the industry area
Lots of trees to mitigate the pollution.
Why are your trains disappearing from your cargo loading station?
Can you post the save game on the workshop?
Check on the interlude between episode 10 and 11
Boas! Ótimo video!
I see the notification 34 minutes later and the bell is on why
But I hope you see my comment
Thanks target
Ep 13 plz
The 13th episode... 👀🥰
Is there any way to have fewer fishing boats? They drive nearly bumper to bumper along their tiny routes and it looks awful. This mechanic would add some cute charm to a city if there were far fewer boats, but instead we get this ugly parade. Another botched vanilla mechanic by CO :(
YES!
Hello T4rget. Great job man =D. 40K sub. up up. H4ve f4n.
Hey dude, where are you from? Love your videos
PLEASE buy another tile e use that island!
Why can't I find the industrial roads in my game?
I disagree ..... there are different fish available depending on the depth of the water - there are only a couple of types of fish available in a river
I have mine spread out so I can catch tuna
Please upload the map to steam workshop so we can follow along :)
oh never mind, its on steam :) thank you!
Talk more about why the fish factory is fucked for most players in that most of the damn trucks drive past it t export it out first. Even if i put in better fish warehousing mod for warehouses they will then put it to warehouses and export before factories.
I didn't understand nothing.
efFISHient build
Hey man build an undertown
I liked it when you used vanilla theme. I wanted to see you finish the game the way it could be done in vanilla. I kinda lost interest at episode 10 because it just looked like another modded video.
I wish i was creative, then my cities would look like crap
Videos are way too short! 😭
Hazzah first comment
13th?
Unpopular opinion: I like the intro of your old videos.. I don't like the way you start your video lately..
Just put a Polle up so people vote for if you can use 86 tiles mod :-) I’m sure I know the answer
I have seen only 33 second I can say that you will not have very much fish left in that river. You put too many fishing harbors. It is not good for nature, even if it is just a game

Fifth!
hi sup, new to your channel ..saw some of your videos in my TH-cam feed ..i like how you build your city, so i decided to watch your videos im currently watching your design and manage s01 ..
Love that city, save is on workshop.
Sunset Harbour is definitely on my wishlist since it's release, and you keeping my hopes high about that. Sad that i'm broke and only can wait for sale.
Can't wait for you to design a Waste Processing Complex and an efficient Waste Transfer routes.
