1. what is the on road actual mileage that this car is supposed give.? am getting usually from 10 to 12kmph. seems too low. thats why asking.
2. since this is having airbags, it is okay to put seat covers. are there any customized airbags friendly seat covers available ?

It seems okay in metropolitan for petrol.
Highway- at nominal speeds you can get up to 18-20. Performance ride- 14-18 highway

Hyundai is always gentleman vehicle it's more suitable for Citi drives with more comfort and effort less driving (like Honda motorcycles).
But it's not suitable for High way as well it's not a driver oriented vehicle. One more thing mileage is very low compared with compatitors.

I bought i20 in 2018.. it has been four years..
I chose it because, it had more kerb weight. So It would be very stable at higher speeds, the driving experience was smooth . You will get poor mileage but it doesnt compromise safety..
My first choice was vw polo for its unibody design and the second choice was i20.
For vw there was no service centre in my place, so i had to choose i20.. hope it helps..
I20 is great with more room at the back seats but you would notice the power lag while taking over other vehicles, you need to downshift and rev more to get that power..
Vw polo has lesser legroom than i20
