Bro the point here is will you allow the customer to do PDI before payment ? Your statement is that sales executive would check PDI on behalf of customer is not correct. Customer should be given full opportunity to check PDI.

A very knowledgeable video... in 2018 when I bought a wagonr amt brown color variant, I had requested the dealership to view the car before delivery and the executive took me to the yard... the rear bumper had a dent and was replaced... also I would like to support asir brother's statement on keep a rapport with service advisor... I was coordinating with the same service advisor at Kapico Motors since 2006 from my purchase of mauti 800 till for about 12 yrs when the SA switched to another brand.

Awesome video Asir Sir. Everything we want to know about PDI is covered. I really liked the gesture of giving a gift to the relationship manger as a token of appreciation. I normally give them a box of sweets but this is very personal and will really make him/her happy as they go through the toil with us on every stage like selecting the right variant and colour, loan process, document processing, RTO formalities, allotment process and accessories selection and fitting until the time we set out for the vehicle delivery. Relationship manger is an apt word to describe them as they almost become very close by the time we take the delivery.

Na first time Banglore la Tata tiago car vangumboth rear Bumper la slight scratch irunthuchu, avanga apo tha re paint pani kondu vanthanga, but na before taking delivery PDI complete ha enoda hands vechu car full ha rub pani parthen atha time la kandupudicha.. after that some hard conversation went and finally taken delivery after 8 hrs from actuall time

Could have posted this content a day before. Because, I took delivery of Sonet GTX+ 7DCT June 24th.
But in Chennai most of the dealer not allowing for PDI before full payment. 😭
Not only in chennai bro.. mostly we couldn't do PDI.. ellame after payment tha..

Nice info Bro ... as seen in many comments and me too had same experience regarding delivery ... Got delivered Nexon 20 days back .. they never showed the car until delivery .. when asked about PDI they keep on saying we will take care regarding , luckily had no issues with car but atleast to our satisfaction they may guide us to may guide us to check the car ..most of the showrooms not allowing ... when asked about the process one of the ex employee told me that once vechile is alloted, nothing can be changed ..if had any issue have to claim in warranty only no other go ... as you people create much awarness many will start questioning them which may make them to open up i believe.. Thank you ..

Even if not allowing PDI , they may final the cars after showing up to customer, cos tata lags in finishing of their product .. now every dealers regardless of brand, are following same strategy .. they get the full payment before showing us the car...
