I think this is BS6 diesel . Main problem many people had faced in BS6 diesel is the DPF regeneration problem. i20 has passive regenaration I think. That is missing in the interview.
Second thing is coming from petrol NA engine to diesel , turbo lag feeling is also missing.
Owner got Sportz variant because it is cheaper than Asta variant. But he wants everything thing from Asta for this price.( That is the usual wish of every owner).
Nobody is comparing or talking about Jazz in the premium hatchback segment. Man maximum machine minimum vehicle.

I20 diesel sports or i20 petrol asta..monthly 1000 km drive... Which is better? Maintenance between petrol and diesel wise ?
For 1000 kms/month, better go for a petrol version. Maintenance is always cheaper in the petrol version. Also by investing in a petrol car, you can avoid DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) clogging issues. Both i20 and the new Baleno Petrol are good cars.

Dear car reviewer, when you review the diesel cars please also make aware of the dpf clogging issue mainly faced by city users, when they do short distance and slow speed travel.. It is recommended that you need to drive at high rpm to burn the soot particle in dpf fliter otherwise it will result's in dpf block if you are continuously driving in traffic nearly 200 kms. To solve this you need manual regeneration, where the car will raise the engine to 2000 rpm for 30-40 minutes depending, which will empty half of the fuel tank.. It is a very kind request to the car reviewer that please do some study on bs6 diesel engine dpf issue and post a detailed video...

I20 diesel car gives 26kmpl to 28kmpl top mileage 80 to 100 km speed after 2nd service, 16000kms finished so far. 22 kmpl is average on highway. City 13 to 15 kmpl . Best mileage in hatchback segment. Value for money is sports diesel 1.5 turbo MT. No compliant so far.

You won't have any features. Mileage will be so bad. Service cost will be high. Insurance price is high. No touch screen. Don't just compare the price.

Not sure why people blaming Tata's service as issues .. even i am owning tata punch , done with two services .. not facing any issue in service..and getting 20 to 22 kmpl in highway while maintaining less than 2500 rpm and maintaining 80 to 100kmph..

This fluidic design is the main reason for the utterly flop of the i20 compared to previous versions then this version having the ground clearance is somewhat too towards down at front it might cause damage to the fog and headlamps, For this same reason only honda Brio not goes well in market . This i20 not at all value for money. We could see this version only a few on the roads compared to the later version. They tried to manage the exterior design issues with a few cool features. Thanks Birla sir for your great effort.

AC will be good now..... As years pass u will see the problem....I have elite i20 ASTA..AC cooling is not up to mark.... Not only me.....u can ask whomever want after prolonged usage of car....
I own i20 Magna diesel, AC had a complaint but the service center changed the AC completely for free of cost as it was under warranty
