Old I20 design good compare to new I20.. especially rear design and alloys looks ugly.. altroz wins the hatchback segment. Offcourse I20 premium and features wise good compare to altroz.. most of the people's reporting that altroz petrol is not power and noisy. Before buying any cars please check global NCAP rating.. after watched seltos got 3 star from global NCAP.. hundai just telling that high advance steel then why hundai didn't test crash test?

Kia seltos scored only 3stars in Ncap crash test..kia Seltos,Sonet,Hyundai's creta,i20 shares this same platform only..so i20 BNVSAP la 3stars than varum..In this segment only Altroz,polo will get 5stars in BNVSAP crash test..May be upcoming Figo will get 5star rating..

Bro pls do review on mid variant ie sports variant in this generation i20.And in sports variant they haven’t offered blue link technology and only they gave 16inch alloy wheels.And even in Astra variant haven’t have adjustable headrests at rear they did so many cost cutting even though it’s a top end.And at Astra O in 1.2 kappa engine they gives many features like sunroof hill assist esp traction control and cruise control and with 6 airbags at price 10.8 lakhs onroad price but it is overpriced when compared to other competitors.Now a days Hyundai have compromised in their build qualities bro pls do comparisons video with old i20 which launched at 2018 and make a review on that basis pls.And there is many cost cutting no auto dimming mirror even at i20 Astra optional and at no automatic ac control in sports variant

A clear travel into the Brochure will make the buyer get into the difference between the Variants and the features - or else our review will cross 45 mins if we start explaining this

Don't know what is stopping Tata to bring in the Turbo petrol engine in the Altroz. Also the DCT will be a real boost for the fun and handling from the ALFA platform

This particular DCT is more fun to drive based on Engine performance than the Polo TSI. But Polo excels in handling and braking
Get manual bro....I don't know about imt.....my friend owns a Hyundai venue dct......it has overheating issues in bumper to bumper traffic bro..... It's not reliable like vw cars.......don't go for automatic.....or try imt.....don't have much idea about that.....on paper it's good but I don't recommend dct

XUV300 is top quality build, it's spacious, it's Comfortable, and had the required features and space.

Thank you @MotoWagon for an extensive and impartial review. Santo GLS was our first car. So I have a soft corner for Hyundai. I'm planning to upgrade. My use is mostly for city drives and occasional long drives. I don't like automatic. Old i20 elite (discontinued) is available with Rs 75000 benefit. Or should I go for Altroz or new i20? I think some of the must have features like cruise control, head rest, rear arm rest are available only with top end Asta along with the cosmetic sunroof is a big let down.

City driving also it never went below 13 for me. In Highways what speed you are driving.
In highways my speed is around 100 to 150 average

Swift is a little smaller car than i20 plus swift has small boot space but swift is more fual tank capacity than i20 if u want more back seat space go for honda jazz or wrv at same price point
Hi Motowagon team, great review as usual, but expected to see the review of other gearbox combination as well.
Had a question. If i am looking to buy a hatchback with some fun to drive element, ease of ownership and automatic gearbox. Which should I choose, Polo Highline TSI AT or I20 turbo iMT? (Both are almost priced similarly)
Other engine and gearbox options were not available for the review.
Suggest you to check the i20 Turbo DCT
If you are a person between 25-30 years of age, then definitely the Polo will give you the adrenaline pump 🔥 Polo hasn't got any major updates till date...(just minute interior upgrades) . If you are a person who doesn't give much importance to aesthetic gimmicks, go for the Polo.
Note : if you are a family man , then you need to forget about the backseat comfort in polo.
Going with the reviews done by MotoWagon and team...I would definitely say the i20 has much room for the back seat passengers 👍🏽

Hi Team, can you pls suggest between i20 Sportz MT(1.2LPetrol) and Swift ZXI+.Looks both on-road prices are similar.
Priorities: Good interior features with good rear-seat comfort, low maintenance cost and good resale value.
Usage: Normal usage with occasional long trips.
With the 1.2L engine, Swift will be more Peppy and engaging to drive with better refinement levels, fuel efficiency and low maintenance costs and good resale value.
My all time favourite i20.. as of now my third car also i20 only purchased in 2018 september.. no hatchback has this comfort. I20 rocks..

I don't have to say anything more, fact is fact.
To start with, as all the motowagon family knows and agrees, your reviews and boy-next-door opinions are really helpful. Also like the Anandhavikadan style of rating cars at the end each videos. Kudos and keep going.
Next to say, have almost finalized to buy All new I20-Asta(O)-Petrol MT. But wanted to have an expert opinion, if there is any other better car/s in this segment.
Things to consider are;
1. Mileage
2. Seating and Driving comfort
3. Looks of the car
4. Overall car performance and durability.
5. Mostly city driving, and yearly once or twice one way 600+ long drive.
Also need a special opinion on, how new I20 will behave for 600+km at a stretch highway drives.

1. It won't be that efficient as the K12 petrol in Maruti. But will return you a decent fuel efficiency.
2. Seating position and ergonomics are top class. Suspension is not that soft like the previous generation, but it is not that stiff either.
3. Looks modern and upmarket
4. Performance is limited as the engine is adequately powered and the car is still a update for fun to drive and wil be durable.
5. No issues for the City speeds and Highway trips.
