Never, ever, plant trees on or near to a fence line. Even though the label reads ‘will reach so and so height’ nature does it’s own thing.Lots of trees make lots of leaves, very messy during Autumn. The little bit of dirt left on the roof will wash off in the next rainstorm. Am I correct in presuming that you sell the good wood? I hope so 'cuz there's nothing wrong with it - it would be a shame to send it to recycle. You both did a fantastic job!
Property owners so often fail to maintain their trees and bushes and this then becomes the result of years of neglect. The problem grows out of control, and is monumental and beyond their ability to bring it back under control.

I would have left the last bit of tree in up to about 5 foot only so the tree still had the one trunk to grow at a lower height but otherwise very good work.

Beautiful trees twenty years growing require trimming to reduce size and shade,removing over boundaries growth fine,but not to ground .
