+wippy748s But I think (based on the video alone) that the PC shadows can be set to be as un-smooth (un-blurry) as the XB1's, considering there's the shadow smoothness toggle thingie that seems to be able to be turned off.
Damn dude, I got confused at 1:44 I thought After Effects had finished rendering something. I had it open and everything and was scratching my head for too long!

You're bowing to the industry fucking gamers in the ass for all their money. I don't care about awards, sales or reception. I love games that otherwise have failed on a lot of those fronts. FYI, I've been playing Naughty Dog games since the days of Crash Bandicoot 1, I have played every single title they've ever made. So "Hold that L, CLOWN", you just got destroyed by someone smarter and who isn't a corporate dick rider. Cunt.
This is one of the best games for Xbox One at the moment. And proves that if the developers do a great job can make awesome games on consoles get it all their potencial. By the way. This PC: 3.000$ Xbox One: 250$. Thumbs up for Xbox One.
+BroJaded It seems like a driver problem. There's no way the 970 would be faster than the Fury X. Nvidia already launched a driver ready for this game. Pretty sure when AMD release a newer driver the results will chance, also in the DF article they say that the 390 is faster on some scenarios while the 970 wins on others.
+BroJaded Yeah, you're right about the driver overhead, but it's only noticeable when using midrange or slower cpus. Wasn't the case with the benchmark you posted. I don't think anyone should be so sure about performance before at least 3 different benchmarks done by trusted sites shows up.
The biggest difference between the two is the much much better feel of movement @ 60fps on the PC. The reduced latency makes a huge difference on the controls.
really good comparison.... but... 60+ >>>> 30 but again, the X1 version looks really good !! P.S. somebody needs to show this port to the guys at NRS/WB.... this is how you port a game....
Seems that DF are not aware that the "very high" setting is NOT the highest. You can still increase individual settings even higher, including Lara's hair which DF also fails to mention. And DF should not be making comparisons like this with an under powered GPU, with a lack of VRAM, that can't graphically get the most out of a PC game or even manage a stable 60FPS... Otherwise what's the point in this comparison? You may as well use Intel integrated graphics.
+Darzo - Editor lol, it'sgoing to run circles around the GTX780 (DUH!) and if it uses Asynchronous Compute Nvidia is going to be slower as it has no real hardware support (not even their current chips) Games in the future using asynchronous compute in DX12 are going to run better on AMD as long as Nvidia only has a sorta hacked software modification.
Expect max settings at 1440p at 60 FPS without any problems. Those 7950's really have held on well, and Crossfire support is going to be fantastic if the last game was any indication. It'll be awesome.
+BroJaded as mentioned in the video, it DOES indeed take advantage of asynchronous compute. I don't think you understand what tesselation is: it's in basically every game. AMD cards don't struggle with it. 16x tesselation is what you need but Gameworks "features" go beyond that to 64x and 128x, ruining performance for EVERYONE for no visual benefit. There are no big Gameworks features here, therefore no excessive tesselation. The 280X is beating the 780 and 780 Ti in some cases now. I'm interested to see what it does in Tomb Raider. AMD cards are absolutely crushing Fermi (which the 7970 and 7950 were released with), Kepler, and Maxwell. How does it feel to be wrecked by three generation old hardware? Nvidia is so fucked.
letsgoiowa Architecture wise AMD technically is 1.5 to 2 generations ahead in hardware, and with the upcoming generation it'll be worse (maybe why AMD delayed till nvidia also had HBM)
I know for the sake of time you guys rushed a bit of the comparisons...but could you slow it down just a bit next time? Specifically the Bloom and HBAO+ comparisons were hard to notice to an untrained eye due to how fast the transitions were.
I have a i7 4790k and a GTX 980 and it runs like sh*t. sometimes steady 60 fps, but then it drops to 20-30-40 for about a couple of minutes....and i'm even on a rather fast SSD... i'm not even playing at 1440p....only 1080p
+jippalippa Im assuming your using the highest texture option? I would turn it down since the 980 has 4 gigs of vram while the game eats up 6 gigs when textures are maxed out.
Ghost's Graphics i have noticed the texture difference between very high and high is basically none. i fail to believe tuning it down to high would make a big difference.
AnubisX64 ...it was the damn textures....at very high the game sometimes hits 5 fps...lowered down to high (which is almost identical) and i get 60+ fps... i am so stupid sometimes :/
5:15 you can do that on AMDs cards as well, it's called "Virtual Super Resolution" in your graphics driver btw Async Compute isn't (yet?) implemented on the PC version. We have to wait for the DX12 version...
Hey DF, can you make a VRAM test of the PC version? There are wildly performance issues being reported. And Titan X user's may have less problems. That sounds like a VRAM issue to me. Shadow of Mordor and Watch Dogs stretching their hands.
Honestly having played some of it on XB, it's kind of dull. I don't think 60fps and somewhat better graphics will turn it into a good game. Lara used to be a great character, but they shat on her personality with this and the past game. She's irritating now.
+LPyourplay I don't think that's true either. unless maybe it's a racing game. I probably wouldn't enjoy a 30fps racing game at all. Otherwise, some of the best games I've ever played were 30fps. 60fps would have made them even greater, but 30fps did not stop them from being great.
gtx 780 capped at 30 fps for smoothness.. in other words it can't reach a consistent 60... And the Xbox version doesn't look much different? (You have to really look for the PC improvements) I'd say that this is something of a miracle for the Xbox. Well done Nixxes, well done.
There are also drops on the Xbox One below 30 frames per second. It's also his choice to lock the frame rate and we don't know if the card is overclocked. I overclocked my card and I get at least 10 extra FPS. GG
its not a miracle, it's good optimization and understanding of the x1 hardware and software. most devs would rather not waist the time cause it takes longer to do on x1 compared to ps4.
nicklong27 Your point was that there isn't much difference. I assure you, there is. I have my Xbox one right next to my PC, there has not been a game that looked similar yet, and this one won't be any different. You compare them side by side, you'll see an immediate difference.
I play the game at 1080p high settings with a GTX 950 Strix edition OC, and yet there is tons of stutter, and the frame rate is in the 40's in one area, and in the 20's as soon as I turn the camera 5 degrees in. certain direction. I've tried many mixture of settings, but the frame rate hardly gets any better. Any thoughts?
These videos are really well made, thanks for the hard work DF. RotTR is a fantastic game, anyone with a decent PC should really pick this up, especially if you liked TR 2013.
Tomb Raider 2013 was NOT the PREQUEL to this game, as stated in the video. It was the PREDECESSOR to this game. A PREQUEL is a title that is a SEQUEL that tells a story about what happened before the original work. It is always released after the original. Just wanted to point that out. :)
Great game! Finished playing it last night with a total of 20 hrs. I'm running this on a GTX 960 2GB card paired with an Intel 4790K. 2560 x 1440, HBAO+ and most settings on high.
I have a gtx 970 when I set texture quality to very high, it caused freezing non stop and is unplayable. I set the texture quality to high and no more freezing or stuttering. Do you have this similar problem like mine.
Noticed you said you're running it at 1080p but your monitor supports 2560x1440. Wouldn't that mean you're getting a lot of blur due to the stretching of the pixels, thus reducing reducing image quality?
I couldn't wait and got it on my Xbox One instead, and loved it. 30FPS bothered me for a while but visually the game was gorgeous for a console game. Very impressed with the port so I might buy it a second time for a replay
added shadows and textures, etc are always great on PC, but the one key area that I NEED is the 60fps. 30fps gives me a migrane, it should never be a standard.
The comparison was too fast. Between configurations I didnt get all the differences. The other videos you marked very good the differences. I dont care if its too long, this channel is awesome showing comparisons.
THE SIMPLE FIX for a constant 60 fps is listed down below. The FIX is to turn Anisotropic 16x down to 2x or the best settings I found was Trilinear and Max everything else yes even HBAO+ looking at you Nvidea spread the news :) Also keep Texture quality at HIGH not Very High it uses to much Vram and crashes to desktop after a long time. You are all welcome also you can run SMAA looks way better than FXAA :)
+Crowded House I have a 980 Ti (well two of them, actually) and this game. You'll be at 60fps *most* of the time with everything cranked. There will be places where the game is more taxing and you might have to dial a few things back. The game is really demanding.
I'm running the game on a i5 with a GTX 750 ti w/ 2gb of GDRR5 and an internal OC of 156MHz. My system has a total of 8 GB of ram and I seem to get decent performance at 1080p. I have texture resoltuion set to medium, HBAO+ and Purehair are both on. My aniosoptric filtering is 2x with FXXA. However I have noticed some stuttering in the cutscenes. I have just updated the gameready driver so hopefully that solves that problem. I also haven't checked to see whether or not the game defaults to full screen windowed. I will check that out and if it is I will switch to fullscreen. Overall though it seems like a well optimized port with a few issues here and there. But certainly is a great looking game.
I was wondering why you said that the GTX 780 couldn't handle 60 FPS, so you capped at 30, but the video showed you are running the game in 2560x1440, which is not a common resolution. Could've said so at the start :/, was starting to fear my GTX 970 would cry running this at 60.
Can't say I'm impressed with the PC quality over X1 but I don't expect high-end graphics from a cross platform title. I'm just glad they didn't gimp our performance to the X1 like so many cross platform titles do.
Watching these comparisons makes me think of the GPU's I've owned during the lifespan of the current gen consoles. My Main rig - 7850 -> 780/780 -> 980ti Backup rig - 270x -> 750ti -> 7770 -> 950 Ol'ladys rig - 7850 -> 270x Consoles are pretty good value. Just I've moved on to 4k and can never go back.
All these PC players bragging about a PC that is superior to the Xbox One costs 400$... How on hell am I supposed to find : -CPU -GPU -RAM -HDD -Motherboard -Fans -Power supply -Case for the PC -OS -Mouse -Keyboard For 400$?!
That XB1 version looks rather smooth... is it 60 fps? I hope we get those performance tests on this game with different levels of PC hardware. Then we can see how optimised this game is on PC by taking a look at performance on that i3/750ti combo. I bet this game looks stunning in 1440p/4k.
I Played this on my X1, and I'm glad to see PC players have the ability to enjoy this beautiful game too. At first glance it seems there are enough settings to tweak and get the performance you are looking for for your machine.

+kristopher lawson I dont do that anymore since a few videos they sound so biased, this game doesnt even look as good as they say, and the game is not demanding its SHIT port, and they dont call it that way because ofcourse $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I just did that lmao
Honestly... You have got to give Xbox One some credit here... It looks beautiful On Both PC and Xbox One.. I for one am amazed that the xbox one can handle these kinda graphics considering it is sooo much cheaper than most PC hardware... (PC gamer here).
+Samuel Marlow totally agree with you , what really gets to me about DF is they seem very anti xbox , it made me laugh about the shadows , If this had been the other way round and the xbox had the softer shadows then they would be saying that it was a compromise. I do have an xbox one but im mainly a pc gamer, ive spent over £4000 on my set up (its a racing sim rig so thats not all on the pc) how people can give the consoles shit for being under powered is beyond me really , we are talking differences in effects that you dont notice, even DF were saying "if you look carefully". +wippy748s No, with the shadows soft shadows have always been a plus. It requires more power to pull off.
i am sure u r a pc gamer.
60FPS alone is worth the PC port alone.
+AL Pasas Playing the game in general is worth it such a great entry in the series.
+Cow of Gaming That is true I played the first one on PC as well but can only play the game at 60FPS :D
+AL Pasas Pfff 60 FPS peasant. 144 Hz Masterrace here!
+Tobias L. 144Hz is what I use but if I state anymore than 60FPS they will freak out!
I agree gotta love that 60fps
You can't refer to predecessor game as a prequel. It's incorrect.
Replying to 3yo comment to tell you that if a game/story/movie's events precede that of the media in question, it is indeed a prequel.
Damn dude, I got confused at 1:44
I thought After Effects had finished rendering something. I had it open and everything and was scratching my head for too long!
Double dipping on this one. I got to play this game at 60FPS+
both versions look great but the PC looks the best, as expected.
Only if you've got the hardware thou
Low settings, which looks only a little worse than the Xbox One, can be run on a 5 year old PC.
+steve brown no shit
+Andrew Voutsinas - fps aside, very high pc preset that runs on 1000$ pc looks only a little better than xbox one version
And the medium preset doesn't look much worse, and can be used at 60FPS on a $400 PC. So what? You want higher quality, pay.
Shitty TH-cam compression makes the video practicly useless.
+Alex Hernández DF already said the difference can't you listen to him ? lol
At least you still got ears
+TehReelSanic
so? Sound is also compressed, so this video is still useless.
+lampenpam You can't hear him properly? Increase your volume or go get your ears cleaned buddy.
you missed the obvious joke :|
The hair physics isn't the same on PC and Xbox.
PC uses the brand new PureHair (basically TressFX 4) while Xbone uses TressFX 2.
+Pvt. Duckling I'd take hairworks over it, but this looks good enough.
+MadFinnTech the best hair technology right now compare hairworkshit
+MadFinnTech no fuck your hairworks
witcher 3 loses 15-20 fps
never forget
while TressFX is nowhere close in term of FPS hit
+someone TressFX in the first TR reboot was only one character's hair. Hairworks in TW3 is a LOT more than just one character. They aren't directly comparable no matter which side you're on.
PureHair = TressFX 4? proof go.
Every next-generation game be like texture quality set to ultra and rest kept to medium/high. Resolution 1080p/900p and 30fps.
This generation of consoles in a nutshell!
+Raging It already isn't. Hasn't been for the past year
I wish you guys talked about the hair setting
Just found this channel. Very professional. Subbed!
+Kael
Might want to buckle up.... This is one of the rare few videos that dont pander to the rabid fanboys.
+Micah Kelly What do you mean by that?
Simon White
DF is anything but professional. Lots of backhand remarks and unnecessary criticism over arbitrary items.
Give me an example. I'm interested to see what you mean.
A great game that looks great and runs well. What a surprise! But people still will praise an horrible game called Fallout 4, even if their 980ti or Fury X will get 20 fps.

So if I have Nvidia I can push resolution higher than native, but like. Did you forget AMD has that too?
It's called VSR but from personal experience the smoothing is better on Nvidia side. Maybe it's changed now, bug that's just my experience.
+Adam cesrai I know right? But DF mentioned if you Have Nvidia you can use DSR skipping VSR. Also in my opinion I think VSR gives better quality, with DSR it all seemed too blurry in some cases
this whole resolution thing is dumb. just create a custom desktop resolution. select that resolution when gaming. j
+BroJaded I'm not even starting here anything. Just stating my point. And you have to turn DSR from Nvidia panel too
+organicpeach85 If this was that simple there wouldn't be need for DSR or VSR
What is happening with the ambient occlusion on PC at 4:35-4:41 ? It seems like a bug to me.
Also shadows at 8:25-8:30 . Holy hell.
Oh my god this game looks amazing!
I still find it amazing that this game released on the 360 and it looked pretty good under the circumstances.
A good port is always great news.
1:43 I actually looked at my toolbar to see if I had After Effects open...
Finally! The game is running on the quality it deserves!
It actually holds it own on Xbox one
+Jacob Nelson not hatin on xbox pr anything but that extra detail and 60fps is a win for me :)

+Mad Pistol
Conan should get a "rise" when he reviews this game.
Man, Digital Foundry is doing some really detailed comparisons and tech analysis. As a PC gamer you guys are becoming my go-to site for PC port reports. Incredible work, keep it up guys.
the xbox one is running this game well
+tomb raider FAN It isn't if it's not 60fps.
30fps is just fine and it's running well for a console
+tomb raider FAN It does have screen tearing and that's kinda annoying
+MadFinnTech You have to understand that it's console standards, console standards is like a low end PC, for console standards a solid 30 FPS is very good.
For the standards of PC it is complete garbage, I would be sitting near max settings (possibly max) at 60+ FPS which shits on the console.
This is the difference between console standards and PC standards.
in my tv i don't have screen tearing you can choose in game settings the screen tearing to improuve the visual quality
1:51 Really DF? U are using 4x anisotropic filter on pc? ...
+Kajetan Wrona Indeed, the facto standard has been 16x for years now.
+Kajetan Wrona They were not using 4x AF. High preset defaults the AF to 4x if I remember correctly. And it's clearly stated they're using Very High in the video right before they show the option 'sun soft shadow'.
Plz stop using the premiere render done sound .... you are confusing me :D
I must praise you guys for going thru every setting and showing the difference. Please keep it up!! (especially big titles)
Is it me or do some of her animations like running/crouching/running down stairs look awkward
+The Modern Shoe you're right.
When compared to Uncharted 4 this game looks like utter shit

+The Gamer Hierarchy is there someone still caring for that over rated linear shit called uncharted? oh yes for sure.. 12 years old console wankers
#DigitalFoundry I think you should seriously consider up-rendering to 4K to compensate for the TH-cam compression.

+Santiago Andres Sandoval that is in no way a $3000 pc lol, it's about $800
want some VAPORUB for that butt hurted sensation? hahaha 3000 PC...
+Santiago Andres Sandoval How ignorant you must be.
1:33 Look at the difference on the cliff. Pretty big difference, although it doesn't change the game.
Nope not that big =)
Please do Tetris graphics comparison
0:45 "Actual Reaction to PC Enhancements": it's breath-taking
Please do GTX 970 vs R9 390 on this game.
+BroJaded Watch out, we've got an Nvidia shill!
The 390 wins by at least 10%, calling it now.
+BroJaded You can't possibly know that until someone benchmarks the game. The R9 390 is pretty much equivalent to the GTX 970 in performance.
+BroJaded It seems like a driver problem. There's no way the 970 would be faster than the Fury X. Nvidia already launched a driver ready for this game. The biggest difference between the two is the much much better feel of movement @ 60fps on the PC. The reduced latency makes a huge difference on the controls.
really good comparison.... but... 60+ >>>> 30
but again, the X1 version looks really good !!
P.S. somebody needs to show this port to the guys at NRS/WB.... this is how you port a game....

how well do you guys think this game would run on hd 7950 crossfire ? it ran extremely well on the last game ;p
+Darzo - Editor lol, it'sgoing to run circles around the GTX780 (DUH!) and if it uses Asynchronous Compute Nvidia is going to be slower as it has no real hardware support (not even their current chips)
Games in the future using asynchronous compute in DX12 are going to run better on AMD as long as Nvidia only has a sorta hacked software modification.
Expect max settings at 1440p at 60 FPS without any problems. Those 7950's really have held on well, and Crossfire support is going to be fantastic if the last game was any indication. It'll be awesome.
letsgoiowa 1080p max settings 100+ fps on the last game :P
***** works wonderfully with any other game
+jippalippa Im assuming your using the highest texture option? I would turn it down since the 980 has 4 gigs of vram while the game eats up 6 gigs when textures are maxed out.
+Xipo86 not really, i have a 980 and it runs every game on very high settings. almost maxed out. almost
5:15 you can do that on AMDs cards as well, it's called "Virtual Super Resolution" in your graphics driver
btw Async Compute isn't (yet?) implemented on the PC version. We have to wait for the DX12 version...
It looks great on Xbox One
Hey DF, can you make a VRAM test of the PC version? There are wildly performance issues being reported. And Titan X user's may have less problems. That sounds like a VRAM issue to me. Shadow of Mordor and Watch Dogs stretching their hands.
the game is now good. before it wasn't, eh pc master race?
30fps makes every game suck
+LPyourplay indeed
Honestly having played some of it on XB, it's kind of dull. I don't think 60fps and somewhat better graphics will turn it into a good game. Lara used to be a great character, but they shat on her personality with this and the past game. She's irritating now.
shtik 60fps doesn't make a bad game good but 30fps makes an otherwise good game bad
+LPyourplay I don't think that's true either. unless maybe it's a racing game. I probably wouldn't enjoy a 30fps racing game at all. Otherwise, some of the best games I've ever played were 30fps. 60fps would have made them even greater, but 30fps did not stop them from being great.
wow
this is like the best in-depth comparison video i've ever seen
kudos
Xbox Master race.
lol
Yes, máster race.
AMAZING POWER OF CLOUD.
8 FPS in Ark, 14 in Halo Reach...
+Sergiio klk Ark is shiet on PC anyways, the HR is just a poorly coded emulation
+Sergiio klk Lol Ark is 600p and 15 fps
Xbox One best lighting.
Damn @ 1:43 I thought I had opened After Effects and rendered something, made me check for it.
The game is kind of boring though. It's like a mashup of old ideas with very little innovation. Okay game.
play other games, too much complain, no games perfect
+Hafiz Khalid na witcher 3 and gta v are not boring even Arkham knight is never boring to me
TehReelSanic Yeah actual good games aren't boring, this game is dull though and just okay.
***** It's an opinion. I don't plan to continue the game on XB nor buy it on PC, so I am in fact playing other games.
why there is so huge difference between cutscenes and in-game ?
gtx 780 capped at 30 fps for smoothness.. in other words it can't reach a consistent 60... And the Xbox version doesn't look much different? (You have to really look for the PC improvements)
I'd say that this is something of a miracle for the Xbox. Well done Nixxes, well done.
+nicklong27
Pretty surprised myself at how well optimized it is
There are also drops on the Xbox One below 30 frames per second.
Seth Knows Details, details. You completely missed my point.
nicklong27 Your point was that there isn't much difference. I assure you, there is. I have my Xbox one right next to my PC, there has not been a game that looked similar yet, and this one won't be any different. You compare them side by side, you'll see an immediate difference.
This game still looks mighty fine in some areas, but doesn't hold up well in more open areas due to lack of a good anti-aliasing technique.
No difference
Was this DX9, DX11 or DX12 version of the PC game? DX11 has VXAO and DX12 has older HBAO+ some say VXAO is superior visually.
John you killin it brah. Great video.
Looks amazing! I'll be posting a full FPS test with the 980 at 1440p on my channel later.
most complete comparison of features i've ever seen, imma sub now, thnx
I have a gtx 970 when I set texture quality to very high, it caused freezing non stop and is unplayable. I set the texture quality to high and no more freezing or stuttering. Do you have this similar problem like mine.
+James Schroeder Set texture quality to high instead this game eat VRAM.
Mozart X I know that I'm just asking you and anyone that had this problem like me.
Excellent video analysis. Please do more like these.
Noticed you said you're running it at 1080p but your monitor supports 2560x1440. Wouldn't that mean you're getting a lot of blur due to the stretching of the pixels, thus reducing reducing image quality?
Does it have DirectX12 Support?
+TheFreezeChill no
maybe next patch i hope
+TheFreezeChill Not at release, it will be patched in later.
BroJaded Because some german gaming websites wrote in august that it would have DX12 support.
+TheFreezeChill Dont expect to see DX12 support on Nvidia games, only DX12 features.
I don't understand why the AF is on very low settings on XO, AF has almost no impact at all anymore and improves graphical fidelity by so much
the best graphic comparison i have ever seen good job man keep doing these compatisons
I couldn't wait and got it on my Xbox One instead, and loved it. 30FPS bothered me for a while but visually the game was gorgeous for a console game. Very impressed with the port so I might buy it a second time for a replay
how many fps are you getting on max settings on 1080p though whole game?
How CPU heavy is this game? My i7 2600 isn't quite as young anymore as he used to be
Man John's voice really has deepened over the years
1:42 I thought i had a rendered file finished on Adobe Encoder. ;P
So what would be an example of specs or cost of PC that would be required to closely match Xbox one quality?
You guys should start doing your PC footage in 1440p at 60 FPS or even 4K. Especially if you're going to just cap the frame rate to 30.
How do you lock the games to 30fps on PC ?
What's the best way to cap the framerate at 30fps on a AMD gpu? I tried using riva tuner, but it's always juddery. :/
It's still fucking amazing that X-Box can handle such graphics, even if a few minor details are missing here and there.
added shadows and textures, etc are always great on PC, but the one key area that I NEED is the 60fps. 30fps gives me a migrane, it should never be a standard.
What an excellent analysis, I really enjoyed this, Thumbs up, share, and subscribed. I will definitely be purchasing this game. Also, love your outro
The comparison was too fast. Between configurations I didnt get all the differences. The other videos you marked very good the differences. I dont care if its too long, this channel is awesome showing comparisons.
+Ryu Tanifuji I agree, I had to pause continuously and even rewind multiple times.
THE SIMPLE FIX for a constant 60 fps is listed down below.
The FIX is to turn Anisotropic 16x down to 2x or the best settings I found was Trilinear and Max everything else yes even HBAO+ looking at you Nvidea spread the news :)
Also keep Texture quality at HIGH not Very High it uses to much Vram and crashes to desktop after a long time.
You are all welcome also you can run SMAA looks way better than FXAA :)
how did he cap his fps at 30 mine only sets it to what my monitor refresh rate is which is 60
or no cap
Very nice. I like that you can scale it to run on low end hardware.
What say you about the people reporting having problems with a 980 @1080p 60fps high settings? They;re reporting massive frame-drops.
Will I be able to play max setttings at 60fps with a GTX 980 Ti?
+Crowded House Depends on what resolution you are planning to play with. At 1080p, most certainly you will be.
+MadFinnTech I have a G sync 1440p monitor.
+Crowded House Of course it will. 980Ti can play anything at 1440p some games just require to reduce AA that's it.
+Crowded House I have a 980 Ti (well two of them, actually) and this game. You'll be at 60fps *most* of the time with everything cranked. There will be places where the game is more taxing and you might have to dial a few things back. The game is really demanding.
sir so how many fps you got? cause i have 780 too
hey does anyone know how to cap this game to 30 i can't find it in the setting
You can get it from the window store, if you buy it digital copy on the Xbox you get it free on the windows store. Microsoft has a cross pay feature
Was this run on the 780 or the 780 Ti ?
what is the sound setting on PC like? stereo or 5.1 surrounds? Does any one know?
depth of field, bloom, vignette blur, motion blur, lens flares, screen effects.
why the hell aren´t this options on console games?
My Main rig - 7850 -> 780/780 -> 980ti
Backup rig - 270x -> 750ti -> 7770 -> 950
Ol'ladys rig - 7850 -> 270x
Consoles are pretty good value. Just I've moved on to 4k and can never go back.
All these PC players bragging about a PC that is superior to the Xbox One costs 400$...
How on hell am I supposed to find :
-CPU
-GPU
-RAM
-HDD
-Motherboard
-Fans
-Power supply
-Case for the PC
-OS
-Mouse
-Keyboard
For 400$?!
That XB1 version looks rather smooth... is it 60 fps? I hope we get those performance tests on this game with different levels of PC hardware. Then we can see how optimised this game is on PC by taking a look at performance on that i3/750ti combo. I bet this game looks stunning in 1440p/4k.
+DigitalFoundry Can we download uncompressed graphics comparison from some portalÉ
