I hate this over done action scene trope … If you want to design a running scenario with things being destroyed why does it have to be a helicopter shooting endless bullets while you jump through them and surf on missiles 🤷♂️
This reboot series is honestly incredible. I haven’t gotten to this one yet, but i’m thoroughly going through the Definitive Edition trying to get 100% and honestly, it’s near perfect. It balances old school platforming with cinematic spectacle and exploration, I love it. Don’t see any real comparisons to Uncharted honestly, it feels and plays way different, and has a different style to how it approaches its game world
Honestly I haven’t played this one but the 2013 game was awesome and I hesitated to pick it up but if it’s like that one I’m all in and then I’ll buy shadow of the tomb raider
First playthrough of RoTTR I did was only focusing on the story and the tombs. Pretty quick and overall good. Second playthrough I did almost a year later I focused on actually hunting, collecting and exploring all the open areas and i took it slow enough to enjoy the environment because daym, dem graphics. This turned out to be soo good that i couldnt let it go till i was fully done with everything. So my "pro-tip" will be: take your time. Do every sidequest and enjoy the scenery. And dont be afraid to turn up the difficulty. It gives it an even better experience
Yes, this game was really good. I thought the cover and aiming felt a little clunky compared to the last one, but still perfectly functional. Some of the combat scenarios were also pretty trite; the game excelled when it let you do your own thing at your own pace. I'd like to see the stealth elements taken even further, and linear shooting galleries dialed down in the future.
Im seeing it on psn store for 20.99 and contemplating if I should get this and carry on my (must beat all tomb raider) legacy or just get the new one releasing sep 14...Help me decide someone!!
Hakim Durand You should first play Rise of the tomb raider. So you can learn some new stuff that might be used for shadow of the tomb raider. But do whatever you would like
Why fix what isn't broken? Too often I see developers change what works from a previous game and waste a lot of time doing it. The focus should be tweaking the annoyances (along with story, etc. of course), not changing systems that worked just fine so you can later say "hey look, different game!". I loved the reboot (just wish there had been more tombs), I have no doubt I will love this game even more from the sound of it.
I'm playing it in 2023.. still it's a great game to play.. I've played hundreds of games since 2 years ago.. and this game will be in my top 20 games that I've experienced.. some games are worth your time, and this game definitely was worth my time.. I spent around 40 hours on it
Similarly, just put 33 hours into this over the last couple weeks, really had a great time. Only mild downside has been some awful crashing in certain places, but that aside, it's been grand.
To me, theres nothing wrong with keeping mostly all the exact same game mechanics (fixing them in some places) and improving everything else around them. In fact I think its a great model for making sequel games over the span of a generation as long as refreshments are added (environment, story, weapon variety, new mechanics etc).
I actually also got for my birthday, I actually thought it was Xbox One exclusive (which tore my heart) until one day my mum walks in like "Oh, happy birthday, here's your present" and I practically fainted xD

Joe S I still feel like they might lose money because fewer people might buy because the year long wait might kill the hype It did still sell well though, around 4 million+ copies on Xbox One and PC a month after re it's release but those could have been a lot higher if it was released on both platforms (XO & PS4) Yes, Rise of The Tomb Raider is absolutely fantastic, probably my favourite game, after The Last of Us.

Got this for a steal at $11.99 off Steam last week. It was the 20th anniversary edition with all DLC as well. Was worth waiting out for. Finally upgraded my GPU to a decent one to be able to play it.
When I got rise of the Tomb Raider for my ps4 the details on it was so cool and when you climb on like moutions sometime look far so beautiful I'm glad they really wanted focus on the story mode and with extras in the game.
I just beat the game, and honestly it was a surprisingly pleasant experience for someone who's only ever been a fan of the PS1 titles. Getting Shadow next because of the jungle environment, then playing 2013 with PS Now. ;)
Best game of the genre I've played since Uncharted 2. It's amazing in every aspect. Just buy it. I'm not even done with it yet and I feel sad knowing it's gonna come to an end soon. Hate when that happens.
+RemoteBattery To be honest with you, this is the reason i never follow the hype on games anymore, since Skyrim. Played the game and just didn't enjoyed. too much noise and hype for something that is not even that good. Same with Fallout 4 just boring as fuck. Just imagine if Half Life 3 comes out, a lot of people are waiting for this for too long, and BOOM! Not even good.
+danny ingersoll I am really getting sick of all of you. "Fallout 4 is worst game of da yar!!!!1!" Fallout 4 is fantastic, and I'm sick of everyone hating it because it's different. It's an improvement on almost every aspect of Fallout 3 and New Vegas, which everyone treasures as sacred.
Just played and finished on PS4 pro. It's a game. With an ok story. And like he said the optional tombs are really fun. Where you can learn to make Greek fire. And get a whole slew of helpfull skills and equipment. But yeah still in late 2019. It holds up great.
I am by no means or any sense of the word a "gamer". My husband fully owns that title in our household. But when he finally decided to buy a PS4, he decided to buy me the last 2 tomb raider games ( Tomb Raider:Definitive Edition and Rise of the Tomb Raider) so that I wouldn't feel like I was just a spectator to his gaming. I absolutely LOVE both games! The graphics definitely improved in Rise, but both were so much fun! I felt like such a bad ass and I was able to connect to Lara and her stories in both games. They did an amazing job and I can't wait to see how the movie turns out!
+gameranx Or, if you have the money to have all systems, stop paying in to this exclusive BS. It only acts to create fanboys and general gamer dissatisfaction. For instance, I really wanted GTA V for the PC but when it took so long to appear I realized that I could do without... perhaps when it's on sale for $4.99 I'll get it. Until then, when we must play third party to exclusives, no money from me to them.
I've played this game, I love it... And especially the humor. (Rotisserie chicken, throw a chicken and shoot it with a fire arrow. Cluck, cluck, a card granting a bow with chickens as arrows. Chicken bomb, a card that makes thrown chickens explode on impact.) Also... The animations that the NPCS have when they eat.
Just played the demo on PS5 and immediately bought it for 6 euros. What a bargain. It looks, sounds and plays better than various recent games. I find it more fun and immersive than God of War Ragnarok.
On point with the commentary. Tomb raider and rise of tomb raider are the only games I actually enjoyed collecting everything 100%. The rewards are massive and the quests are fun!! Catching chickens?? Haha dope!!!
I bought this the same day as fallout 4. Had extra trade credit. Just started this tonight. Why have I not played this earlier!? I played the reboot too many times through and feared this would be more of the same. It is, but improved and optimized. The graphics are insane even for the Xbox one, and the controls not feel as loose as in the previous. Definitely worthy of a buy
+moooshroomdragon king (mooshroomdragon) Its a lot easier to like if you have a love for the older games as well.. Personally though, although I loved the reboot and the older games (The older ones especially) I have to say I'm not very exited about this one at all. I wanted to see more in terms of the way Lara moves while jumping and climbing, or just her movement in general as it looks VERY mechanical and unnatural. Also you spelt 'really' wrong.. Unless it was auto correct xD
It is being compared to far cry 4? Far cry 4 sucks ass, I got bored after an hour in fc4! Terrible game! But I am in love with this game, I enjoy every second I play, I want to discover everything and lara croft is freakin' hot
I liked Farcry 4 but I 100% absolutely prefer Tomb Raider, it's just a lot more fun and Lara's badass and I'm tired of every protagonist in every game being some 40 year old guy, so a female protagonist is definitely a much needed breath of fresh air.
Syria and Siberia are totally different countries from Serbia..i really was excited when you mentioned it(cuz im a big fan of TR)and had to explore this and i realized that you need some Geography lessons...awesome video btw. Greetings from Serbia ✌️
Just started playing the game. I had a good chuckle watching the helicopter miss thousands of bullets and missiles but perfectly places a missile to break the tower that lara is zip lining on.
I love the fact you show the goods just as much as the bads in your reviews, unlike the rest of the TH-cam critics who bitch about EVERY LITTLE THING! ......that's what keeps me coming back. keep it going gameranx!!!!!
What this video didn't talk about: A mechanic that's basically necessary to traverse the world properly also removes all of the fun out of puzzles (Survivor instinct), because of the sometimes lackluster map design you will be looking for the right way to go more than I'd like while not using survivor instinct. If you do opt to use survivor instinct and you activate it when you're solving a tomb, it practically solves itself. 4 year-old me would've been able to complete this game. Game breaking bugs, in one of the optional tombs I spent half an hour trying to figure out what I should do. It turns out certain parts I needed to complete the puzzle were not loaded in correctly, leaving me with a tomb I could not complete.
My favorite thing in RotT that a lot of newer games seem to have? The enemies are NOT bullet sponges. I mean, get shot in the head, you're going to drop. Get shot in the leg, you're going to limp. Get shot in the arm, it's useless. We need more of that.
Loved the first one. Played it on my PS3. Thanks for showing your appreciation by making me wait a year to play the sequel, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics! I think i'll buy it used to show *my* appreciation!
@@nastyline9693 not really. It's been a while since I played the game, but I remember you can get everything you need to appear on the map, and the game makes it easy to see where you need to go. Now it is a 100% run so expect to be picking up a lot of Documents and Artifacts, but it doesn't get too tedious because most of them aren't hard to find, just explore the area and you'll find the secrets you are looking for. The game really does reward exploration. A deep crack in the side of a cliff could really be a Challenge Tomb with an upgrade or gear at the end. Hope this helped, happy Tomb Raiding!
Krypton Games all games aren't just about graphics. Just wait for graphics mods. 4K textures. ENB's. Graphics that you'll need a 980ti to run at 60fps.
Why does everyone do this, we don't care that you like fallout 4 better than tomb raider there two completely different games that came out on the same day get over it mate
Thanks for this video my man. I never really looked in to playing any of the tomb raiders however upon winning the first tomb raider in a random create i bought i thought what the heck why not play it for the money. REALLY REALLY enjoyed it and thats coming from someone who was never a fan at all for the game and never caught my eye until physically playing the first one. The story, the graphics, the Interactions just everything about the game was so well put together. I enjoyed it so much so that im about to purchase the next one (the one you are showing in this video). I defiantly recommend the first game to anyone and everyone then purchase the next one and so on. The first one was a step up for the older gen consoles if i remember correctly and i sure as hell cant wait for this one to download. 10 out of 10 !!.
Just got the game today for 9.99 on sale with the dlc. This game is beautiful. I've never enjoyed most of the tomb raiders. But the stories.. lore.. treasure.. let's not forget bonfire safe points with fast travel (dsouls) but my favorite tomb so far.
i Feel like im the only one that didn't enjoy the reboot :/ Growing up with Tomb Raider Legend and Underworld, as well as the orginals, i never feel the same satisfaction or awe when playing these new ones :/
glad I found someone who feels the same as me. The reboot had too much of dragons lair to it. press this button now, press that button, watch a cut scene, flash instructions on the screen, press button, watch cut scene! wtf!!!! are gamers dumb as fuck these days or what? is the new one here a return to the original tomb raider where players worked it all out themselves or is it filled with instructions ruining the game play
Fucking same here !! I dont understand whats so great about it, if it even had a good combat system but its more like you do same combo through the whole game ... it sucks
+ Barely Beard. I also prefer the TR 'old' style since TR1 (1996). I lost interest since TR 2013 with all the combat shit and save-point crap. There are so many combat games, so why ruining TR by adding an overdosis of combat. I loved TR, because it was so different, well not anymore.
Is it recommended that I play Tomb Raider 2013 first before going for ROTTR ? Because I'm not at all familiar with anything regarding Lara and need to get the ground information on how everything started.
Nothing will ever beat the 90's Tomb Raider games! But I must say, I liked this game better than the Reboot! I am a huge Tomb Raider fan (as you can probably tell by the Profile Picture. For those of you who don't know anything about 90's gaming, that is Lara Croft from back in 2000 in her game Tomb Raider Chronicles or Tomb Raider 5.) This game felt more like the classic games, in my opinion. First off, games back in the 90s were much more challenging and Tomb Raider was no exception. The classics had challenging gameplay along with non-linear level design. You had to go from place to place finding keys, moving boxes around, using her Legendary Dual Pistols to kill anything in her way, solving puzzles. Rise of the TR does that but with the updated graphics and better mechanics. That is the main reason why I like it, it reminds me of that challenging gameplay and level design in the Classic Tomb Raider. And with this you have Achievements, XP, DLC, More Collectibles (instead of just 3-6 Secrets per level, you have hundreds of things to find per section), and of course the updated graphics and gameplay. I also thought the Storyline was much better in this game than in the Reboot, but I still liked the Reboot's storyline. I was a little disappointed when I heard there was going to be no Multiplayer, but the awesome Single Player Experience and Expeditions Mode along with the Cards made up for it! This is an amazing game and has definitely made its mark in Tomb Raider history!
***** Yes, I know all about it :P. Look at my profile picture, xD! I follow Tomb Raider on Twitter and Facebook and I'm subbed to their channel, I hear a lot of things first-hand. But yes it will be cool when it comes out :)
+Kyle Kirkpatrick I was a fan too but I just can't deal with that company bs that square and xbox pulled. Taking the fans hostage like that is not okay! I love the old and the new Croft but this one I'm gonna get 2.hand - VOTE with your wallet! Seriously guys don't buy into these actions - the fans needs to send a message.
Björn Jensen If you want my honest opinion, they could've paid them a lot of money and if that was my game and I was getting a lot of money to do it, I probably would. I own it on PC so I didn't get it that long after the initial release date, however the PS4 Players really have to wait.
I have played this on my PC and it is one of my most enjoyable games and can't wait to play it some more.Liked even more than Hitman 2 which is an awesome game in itself. I think Far Cry has lost it's way a bit but play Rise of Tomb Raider and you will not be disappointed. And thanks Jake for your great reviews. Just the right length, short and to the point.
Seeing Lara in a winter setting gives me a huge reminder if Ellie happened to grow up from The Last of Us seeing her in the winter section of the game.
I really love playing the 1st game and Shadow of the Tomb Raider on PS4 with the amazing graphic and nonstop action. Just can't wait to see the upgrade on my new PS5 console that's coming soon!!!
Just grabbed this on PC while steam was having a Squenix sale, and i'm incredibly impressed. There's tons of stuff to do, but they manage to add a lot of depth without having anything feel tacked on. As to his comment about some people being bummed by this feeling like a simple extension of the previous game, I think that's a positive. It's one of those 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' scenarios, where they subtly refine most mechanics without tossing a whole new UI and big changes at you. I normally hate 3rd person adventure games and found Uncharted to be a lazy chore, but this series has been excellent so far, and I hope they make a third title where Lara is full-on Tomb Raider. Although that'll have to wait until after the upcoming Marvel game, :(
Have you played 'Shadow of the Tomb Raider' yet? (I suppose you have since it's six years since you posted!) I've just finished playing it and it's great, too! LOTS of tombs to raid in that one! (Atm I'm really mostly concentrating on getting through the main story on this one, because I think that, like in 'Shadow' you get to keep all your skills, weapons etc when you go back for a 'New Game'...) 🙂
where did the helicopter pilot learn to shoot, storm trooper academy?
Javorie Johnson XD
Holden Cross IKR. Stevie Wonder would have probably had a better chance of hitting her...
He was on his mobile while flying and shooting ... multitask (fail). :P
1:57 I'm guessing you mean Siberia, not Serbia?
probably, since we weren't part of the soviet union, and there isn't any part of the county with that kind of climate...
+TheUltimateLowz WHOOPS. Yes, that's what I meant. Thanks for pointing that out!
+gameranx no problem man, keep up the good work
+TheUltimateLowz Serbia is a country though.
+Mikey Andocs a good one at that :)
the helicopter taking all those shots and not one hits her...yes, yes; Lara Croft agility lvl over 9000!!!
I mean there's a bunch of unrealistic stuff but i don't care because it reminds me of the old 90s action movies.
lara is protected by plot armor the strongest armor around

as you say this, Lara's being chased by a helicopter with a machine gun. : /

What about GOW
@Ransford Chester yes it's fiction.
But characters r real
@Ransford Flentjar actually it's based on greek byzantine history not ancient mythology

Erick Rodríguez What about India?..
I agree with you, and the original outfit of Lara, with the little shorts lol I mean it...
Boris Draconian No
Kate LOL ok no... but it would be nice a game in Egypt!
Erick Rodríguez have you seen the last cutscene of the game? It clearly points out that it will be in mexico

It won't release for PS4. It's an Xbox exclusive. I know you will be crushed. But you still have fallout. (I did NOT mean this in a sharp way.)
+Bonnie Bunny It's coming out for PS4 and PC next year genius
+Bonnie Bunny Actually the game is scheduled for a PS4 release in 2016
+Bonnie Bunny Its a TIME exclusive... Damn.
^ Sorry. I heard it's an XBOX ONE exclusive.
3:24 *OMG the dude almost said adorable* XD
3d modellers' pick-up like haha
Best game of the genre I've played since Uncharted 2. It's amazing in every aspect. Just buy it. I'm not even done with it yet and I feel sad knowing it's gonna come to an end soon. Hate when that happens.
Who’s here cuz it’s gonna be free for PS+?
yeah this game is quality unlike fallout 4 sadly
dafuqs wrong with you?
Both games are amazing but I don't think Tomb Raider helped itself by releasing on the same day as Fallout which had all the hype
+danny ingersoll you forget the /s
Um….ok? So you hated it
Stealth he says while Lara run Away from a Combat Helicopter...
Gameplay wise it's suppose to be like in batman it's all about stealth for those Wayne pouts and XP but yet he is riding around Gotham in a batmobile
+Krypton Games and stealthily following other tanks lol
Meanwhile MGS is a stealth game and you run from a Hind-D with a rope down a building and then climb back up to fight it.
lol the thumbnail though
That's like every thumbnail
Lol ikr
All his thumbnails are like that.
They did an amazing job and I can't wait to see how the movie turns out!
this makes me want an Xbox One
just wait for Uncharted 4....
+Jimmy Noonan And next year is on every plataform.
+Jimmy Noonan you can always wait for PC or even longer for PS4.
+Zach Arbogast 2015? Or 2016? 2016, Right
I've played this game, I love it... And especially the humor. (Rotisserie chicken, throw a chicken and shoot it with a fire arrow. Cluck, cluck, a card granting a bow with chickens as arrows. Chicken bomb, a card that makes thrown chickens explode on impact.)
Also... The animations that the NPCS have when they eat.
Wait... Why does the AK-47 sound like a nerf gun? (WAYY TO SILENT)
Legend of Rafi ikr I hate the sound of that
Probably so that you don't go half deaf, ak rifles are FUCKIN loud irl, just like most guns, but eh
@@Lucas61616 *slaps supressor on*
Just played the demo on PS5 and immediately bought it for 6 euros. What a bargain. It looks, sounds and plays better than various recent games. I find it more fun and immersive than God of War Ragnarok.
real
Me too
I'm playing it now for the first time and I'm loving it.
On point with the commentary. Tomb raider and rise of tomb raider are the only games I actually enjoyed collecting everything 100%. The rewards are massive and the quests are fun!! Catching chickens?? Haha dope!!!
**Internal screaming because I have to wait A WHOLE YEAR FOR IT TO BE RELEASED ON PS4**
Ikr fucking stupid
+Heather Of Hyrule Just finished it and it's fuckuign amazing!!! It has so much vibes from TRA, TRL, TRU
Vladmir PutItInsideme Awesome, I'm getting it in a year when it comes out for PS4. (I have neither an XBox or a working PC)
You got Bloodborne. Let us have this.
TheNerdFormer I'd probably trade TBH. But yeah, we also do have Until Dawn and The Last Of Us, so yeah.
Yeah, i also played the whole game and probably one of the best games i've ever played
Man I love this channel. It's like what IGN tries to be
Fascinating to go back on older Gameranx videos and see the difference in video length and mic quality. Haha.
1:41 How did she make that jump?
+Black Dynamite She's the Tomb Raider?
+Stephan Salvatore oh oh you know someone gotta go after you right ? LOL
+Black Dynamite Because this is a video game.
+Black Dynamite you can a boost if you time right with the boob bouncing duh!!!
+Black Dynamite it is said in the script. Thats why!
this is a def buy for me!! i'll get the pc ver next year....
+sunfy8 how can you like it i am relay wondering
+moooshroomdragon king (mooshroomdragon) Its a lot easier to like if you have a love for the older games as well.. Personally though, although I loved the reboot and the older games (The older ones especially) I have to say I'm not very exited about this one at all. I wanted to see more in terms of the way Lara moves while jumping and climbing, or just her movement in general as it looks VERY mechanical and unnatural. Also you spelt 'really' wrong.. Unless it was auto correct xD
+moooshroomdragon king (mooshroomdragon) really*
Hey please subscribe to my channel! Keep rocking!
+sunfy8 Get it in 5 days you mean!
It is being compared to far cry 4? Far cry 4 sucks ass, I got bored after an hour in fc4! Terrible game!
But I am in love with this game, I enjoy every second I play, I want to discover everything and lara croft is freakin' hot
Carlo Marone I traded FC4 in less than a week
I liked Farcry 4 but I 100% absolutely prefer Tomb Raider, it's just a lot more fun and Lara's badass and I'm tired of every protagonist in every game being some 40 year old guy, so a female protagonist is definitely a much needed breath of fresh air.
I got bored in under a half hour
Carlo Marone when you pass the game wear a tank top grab a chicken and throw them into the ice cold water
I like Far Cry, although I play Fallout 4 more
Playing this game right now for the first time and I’m loving it
Syria and Siberia are totally different countries from Serbia..i really was excited when you mentioned it(cuz im a big fan of TR)and had to explore this and i realized that you need some Geography lessons...awesome video btw. Greetings from Serbia ✌️
Just over 2 months away and I can finally play this on PS4!! Cant wait!!
SUPER good and if your friends get it they are making survival mode co op
This game is what next gen gaming is supposed to be
anyone else watching this on 2019? its for only 7 eur on steam and i think its a great price, dont get me wrong because real price is 50 eur
dude! same hahaha
bought it right before watching this :D
Costs like £7 on ps store now
@@chriswyatt9869 same for pc 1 week ago
Just started playing the game. I had a good chuckle watching the helicopter miss thousands of bullets and missiles but perfectly places a missile to break the tower that lara is zip lining on.
I love the fact you show the goods just as much as the bads in your reviews, unlike the rest of the TH-cam critics who bitch about EVERY LITTLE THING! ......that's what keeps me coming back.
keep it going gameranx!!!!!
You dont like killing in Tomb Raider? Lara has been killing since the first game. Wtf did you expect? Weird review.
He meant the killing gameplay
legends waited for 6 years to get it for free😏😏
Just finished playing it on the ps4 and absolutely loved it! I plan to do another playthrough when I have time!
to this day i still pop on to this game every once and a while never gets old
What this video didn't talk about:
A mechanic that's basically necessary to traverse the world properly also removes all of the fun out of puzzles (Survivor instinct), because of the sometimes lackluster map design you will be looking for the right way to go more than I'd like while not using survivor instinct.
RDR 2 had mechanism like that.
I'll probably but the new one when it comes out for ps4.I just love these type of games and I can't keep replaying Uncharted 4.
It’s Siberia not Serbia bro. Totally different places.
Who is here because the trilogy is free rn
Ez likes.
I beat this game to 100 percent and ABSOLUTELY FUCKING LOVED IT!
IKR!! I miss Lara already. I Hope they will make the third one with a denser story line rather than making it open world.
Im about to start this game, does it grindy to 100% this game?
@@nastyline9693 not really. It's been a while since I played the game, but I remember you can get everything you need to appear on the map, and the game makes it easy to see where you need to go. Now it is a 100% run so expect to be picking up a lot of Documents and Artifacts, but it doesn't get too tedious because most of them aren't hard to find, just explore the area and you'll find the secrets you are looking for. The game really does reward exploration. A deep crack in the side of a cliff could really be a Challenge Tomb with an upgrade or gear at the end.
Hope this helped, happy Tomb Raiding!
Who’s here because it’ll be free on play station in July?
me
Would buy this but I'm too busy playing fallout.
That game with the hoorrriballlle graphics
Krypton Games all games aren't just about graphics. Just wait for graphics mods. 4K textures. ENB's. Graphics that you'll need a 980ti to run at 60fps.
+Krypton Games kinda like your spelling?
Giancarlo Buonamici RIP
I am on PC by the way. Graphics are insane!!.
Decided to try this out since it was free. Gave me a lot of feels that I was missing in the recent Assassins Creed games.
Just got the game today for 9.99 on sale with the dlc. This game is beautiful. I've never enjoyed most of the tomb raiders. But the stories.. lore.. treasure.. let's not forget bonfire safe points with fast travel (dsouls) but my favorite tomb so far.
Same
2:55 literally, ends with a BANG
i Feel like im the only one that didn't enjoy the reboot :/ Growing up with Tomb Raider Legend and Underworld, as well as the orginals, i never feel the same satisfaction or awe when playing these new ones :/
glad I found someone who feels the same as me.
I dont understand whats so great about it, if it even had a good combat system but its more like you do same combo through the whole game ... it sucks
Barely Beard I played the old ones too, but I absolutely love the new ones. Damn, I never had so much fun playing a game in years.
Barely Beard I prefer the new ones, but I know how you feel. I'm the same way about resident evil. I liked the tank controls. lol
Is it recommended that I play Tomb Raider 2013 first before going for ROTTR ?
Because I'm not at all familiar with anything regarding Lara and need to get the ground information on how everything started.
Zalmai Durrani You can buy ROTRR first, but it seems to be better to buy TR first or both
u can but it any time bcuz they diffrent
such an overlooked series
Nothing beats the original - that intro to the first level where she shoots the wolfs in mid-air
***** Uh.... that feature doesn't come out until October LMAO
I own it on PC so I didn't get it that long after the initial release date, however the PS4 Players really have to wait.
gonna pick this up on 360
Ps2 master-race.
+Thelolinator872 Love the ps2
+Thelolinator872 No Bitch! Atari master race!
(JK buddy, take no offense;))
I've never even had a atari....lol!
Please stop supporting last gen, you're ruining games.

What’s the difference between this and Uncharted ?
It's almost the same, but with different game mechanics
These are more open worldish. Uncharted more linear.
I was playing this on ps4 pro last night and honestly got more into it than I thought I would.

No
Seeing Lara in a winter setting gives me a huge reminder if Ellie happened to grow up from The Last of Us seeing her in the winter section of the game.
I really love playing the 1st game and Shadow of the Tomb Raider on PS4 with the amazing graphic and nonstop action. Just can't wait to see the upgrade on my new PS5 console that's coming soon!!!
I want fucking Lara with dual pistols... I got 5 seconds of dual pistols in game 1...
1:37 our air force need better training... dat aim......
They were distracted by dat ass
Congratz on 1mil subs!!!
Honestly might be one of the best games I’ve ever played
