Alex, thank you for introducing me to hole 19. As a senior, relative new to this wonderful sport l need all the help l can get. Shamefully, my score hovers around 120. I am honest, so l count all those miss shots, wayward ball and drops for lost ball.
Not being great with technology l just hope I can integrate it into my round while still maintaining a realistic speed on the course.
Keep well, keep safe and love this game.
    Kevin.

Alex, thank you. This app seems no different than using a handy yardage book so I'm not sure why some people may have a problem with it. On my home course, it's probably not necessary but on new courses. that I play often, an app like this would be very beneficial. Thanks as always!

It actually does help on home course and it does a lot more than just yardages. Tracking your shots, rounds, clubbing choices etc

Have used Hole19 for past 2 years on the premium package (sometimes I do swop it to my andriod watch when my phone batt is low)..done wonder n so long GPS signals are great, its much faster than ranging hazards, flags (my range finder is actually more a backup for days poor signal n only once a course tbats not on its 40k+ course)
Shot tracker, notes features helps me review back my rounds besides just the standard scoring within this app.
I use Hole19 on the range selecting random course preview and playing the holes as a practice.

Thanks Alex. I've used the free version for ages and it is really cool to be able to ping distance to hazards etc without having to purchase a range finder. I think it has the ability to track WHS handicap if I'm not mistaken?
Nice bird by the way :)

Good on ya if this is a sponsorship. If not, I would have liked to see comparison (or at least an explanation of why this is better) to other apps like Golf Pad, Arccos, etc. Those can do what you showed here with the added benefit of allowing sensors.

You can track shots without sensors etc. I found it has most things that help without the fluff or complication

@@TheArtofSimpleGolf - Thanks man. Yeah I know. Been looking for the best golf app and I want to make sure whatever I start with is superior. Is this one better than the others? More research is in order to find out! I think I've ruled out Arccos due to the ridiculous price and they don't have my local pitch n putt in the database. Will check this one too among others. They all look fairly equal so far, so it may come down to price / reviews

I want your golf cart. You hit the shot to the green and got there before the ball, that's fast🤪

Alex! I usually agree with you on your instructions; however, this time, I'm going to have to pass! You mentioned the fact that you aren't really a fan of golf AP technology, but then you go on to explain Hole 19! I have been playing this game for over 65 years and I just purchased a range finder! When I approach a shot, I don't just arbitrarily step up and hit the shot. I think the shot out before I hit it. This is called "course management." What you have presented is like doing a cross word puzzle with the help of your cell phone dictionary or thesaurus. Sorry Alex, this isn't why or how I play golf! I still gave you a like! :-)

Well I appreciate your input! It’s more helpful than many realize. Yardages, tracking etc. I don’t normally like over tech but this is good

Grip it and rip it is exactly how I play. But I drive it right on to the green every time. There's no app for that lol

Simple things like set up and intent as well as strategy helps more than most realize
