Hi -- a little late to the party, but quick follow up. Do you have to do anything AFTER the battery is replaced? Any re-programming or setting updates, or is everything retained in some kind of ROM inside the fob? Thanks.
Hi! I have a 2007 Mini Cooper S turbo. Was running great until one day I went to leave my house, put the key fob in and nothing! Not one sound, no dash, nothing! Checked all of the fuses (interior) and a relay that was warm for some reason. Still dead. Any ideas??
Hi Christopher, sounds to me like there might be an issue with the main battery. Have you checked it? As nothing is working at all that would be the first place i would look and replace.
