I disagree. I know Telugu, Tamil and Hindi quite well and listen to old B&W classic songs in all three languages a lot. There is no need to compare NTR with ANR or Sivaji Ganesan or MGR or Gemini Ganesan. Each of them was versatile actors and have given memorable performance and super hit films. I have watched this film in Telugu, Tamil (Missiamma) and Hindi (Miss Mary) and enjoy listening to all three language versions of this song 'Brundavanamadi andaridi... I can vouch that all three versions are excellent, the lyrics, music, actors, and playback singers, all of them first class. I wouldn't say one was better than the other. Some people have commented here about how Savitri was betrayed by her husband Gemini Ganesan. The song is not about their relationship. Any way the ups and downs of their relationship has been dealt in the movie Mahanati. Their relationship has nothing to do with their performance. They both were thorough professionals and excellent actors. The performance in the song by NTR, Savitri and Jamuna (in Telugu), by Gemini Ganesan, Savitri and Jamuna (in Tamil), and by Gemini Ganesan, Meena Kumari and Jamuna (in Hindi) are equally adorable, exquisite, pleasing to the eyes, ears and mind.
