Same model I got. G Centurion. I installed the Wolff Trigger conversion reduced power spring kit and put on some M9A3 FDE grips. Other than that it's stock. It's replacing the 92A1 as the number one go to.
I'm sure I can do a little searching and find out what it's supposed to be. I have a trigger pull scale now so I'm more interested in testing them all.
Very hard to beat the toughness and reliability of a Beretta. Love my A3, 92A1 and recent 92X full size. I’m trying to find a good condition Beretta 81 Cheetah 32ACP but hard to find for me. Also would like to have the APX
Have you ever heard of a Beretta 92G Centurion? Apparently it has the 92X Style Frame, Classic 92G Slide, thin Enhanced Grips, and an Upgraded Hammer Spring. The model number is SPEC0666A, but can’t find anything on berettas website. I was told it’s a special make from Beretta, what makes it special, I have no idea. Thanks
Thanks for the review man. I know the Centurion and Compact are the same in a lot of ways, but the Centurion being larger and a bit heavier with a full grip, is it more enjoyable/funner to shoot than the Compact?
You’re welcome! Honestly, I can’t tell much of a difference shooting one or the other. If you have huge hands you might appreciate the longer grip on the centurion though.
Thanks for the review. I installed the LTT trigger bar with a 13 # hammer spring and the trigger pull in da and sa is sweet. How do you like the Rex zero ? THANKS
Thanks for watching. The LTT trigger bars are awesome! Things I like about the Rex Zero: It is extremely accurate. The single action trigger pull is excellent. And it is built like a tank, so it will probably last forever. Things I don't like: The grip is a little blocky for my taste. The trigger guard is rather big (made for gloves) which has made it harder to find holsters. And the safety and decocker are two different levers, which some people might prefer. Personally I don't like safety's at all.
No trigger upgrades for the Rex that I know of, but check around. Yes, the double action pull on the Rex is very heavy. But the single action is one of the best I’ve seen out of the box. Nice and light with a very crisp break.
Hey willburr13. It's a tough call, I love them both, but if I had to pick between the two, I'd go with the Centurion. It's a nice compromise between the full size and the compact. Also, if you find any Beretta 92 surplus mags, they'll be flush fit with the Centurion. Also, as of right now, you'll have a lot more options for grips with the Centurion, as any of the vertec/M9A3 grips will fit. No aftermarket grips for the 92X compact out there yet that I'm aware of. That's my 2 cents. Thanks for watching!
Awesome! I bought a 92X Friday! I love it. I put the wrap around grips on, but I’m kinda scared to take them off. There was a bit of resistance, what with going under the mag button and over the trigger bar. Could you do a quick vid on swapping the wrap around grip to the 1911 style grip? I’d like to see someone do it before I go at it and screw it up. Thanks!
Hey ghostdog2041! I could maybe do a video on that in the future. However, I don't really have any tips or tricks to swapping them out. The rubber wraparound grip is hard to get off. It always seems to want to get stuck under the mag release. I just keep prying, pulling and yanking until it comes off.
Sweet T Farm that’s good to hear. I did it this morning after commenting, and had the same problem. I made the mistake of using a flat head screwdriver for leverage. Holy cow! This beretta has the surface viscosity of a block of cheese! I bought it Friday and have already marred it up.
Yes, I put the spartan sights on myself. They’re great during the day... the orange ring on the front sight makes for fast sight acquisition. And of course they’re great at night.
Orlando Delgado Thanks for watching. I put Ameriglo Spartan sights on. They’re great. Got them here: www.langdontactical.com/ameriglo-spartan-sights-elite-ltt-m9a3/
I have one of these coming, so naturally I'm watching videos on it. Thanks for the video!
Great review. I appreciate all the side by side comparisons. Subbed
Thanks for watching and subbing. Glad you liked it!

Awesome! I put an M-Carbo spring kit on my M9A3 and it’s smooth as butter.
What's the trigger pull weights now?
I'm not sure, but it's pretty light.

I agree. I love my Berettas.
Gunbroker.com had a couple of them
81s regularly show up on classicfirearms - bought one for the Mrs - she loves it.

I've never heard of it. There's so many different models out there though, there's no telling.
You're probably thinking of Wilson Combat's 92G Vertec Centurion Tactical. Just go to WC's website to find it.

So the centurion is just the in between size for the compact and full size?
Yes. Same size grip and capacity as full size. Shorter barrel like the compact.
@@sweettfarm6875 right now this is the only 92x that’s available so does it shoot like a compact or full size?
The difference is negligible. But it does feel like a full size because of the grip, so if I had to pick one, I’d say it shoots like a full size.
@@sweettfarm6875 appreciate your input I will be purchasing soon. Still watching the prices and restocking of everything.

You wouldn’t have any suggestions on IWB holsters for the 92X compact with rail? Having a hard time finding any options.
Sorry, I do not. I've been wearing this one OWB in a leather versacarry holster.
Is there a trigger upgrade for a Rex zero 1? I’m interested in getting one but I’ve heard the da trigger is heavy.

Have you got an owb holster for it that you can recommend ?
My favorite OWB’s are the leather versacarrys. Around the farm though, I usually just throw it in an Uncle Mike’s Sidekick - size 15 I think.

@@ghostdog2041 Oh no! Well, the first scratch is always the hardest. After that the scratches just give it character.
Sweet T Farm I hope you’re right haha! I’m supposed to, SUPPOSED to, get to shoot it Friday July 3rd. If the range is open. Can’t wait!
@@ghostdog2041 Have fun! Mine's a great shooter.
Excellent review, thanks 👍
No problem!

Nice nice arsenal.
Very cool how you put those spartan sights! Did you install them yourself? Very very cool. How's the accuracy with them in the day?
Yes, I put the spartan sights on myself. They’re great during the day... the orange ring on the front sight makes for fast sight acquisition. And of course they’re great at night.

Orlando Delgado Thanks for watching. I put Ameriglo Spartan sights on. They’re great.

is it decocker only?
Yes, this is a “G” model so it is decocker only.
But where to get a holster? : /
Falco
I like it
Buy some lighting dude
Your scale needs to be calibrated brother
You can't see anything at all! It's like GOT S8.E04!
