Lyney was my first limited 5-star I vertically invested in, and boi, does his damage not disappoint. Vars mentioned he’s primarily a single target dps, but both his skill and burst do have a little bit of nuke aoe, efficient to hit small clutters of enemies. Both back to back usually do the trick.
Fr I run him all the time. Hes my favorite character in design and personality and I'm so thankful he's such a good unit. When buffed he'll hit 100k on charged shots and 200-300k on his burst and skill.
Lyney is also good at crowd control! I almost always bring C1 Lyney into the “protect the obelisk” floors because of the way his cats aggro enemies around it, dragging them away from the middle!
Yeah I feel that as well, you see I didn't pull for him because I have a top 2% Ganyu and I also have a top 1% Hu Tao and a pretty well built Yoimiya and Diluc so I thought I didn't need her but there was this one time when I needed some extra mats for a weapon so I had to farm it on another world and they just so happen to use Lynney, while my Ganyu easily does 18k+34k charged shots, that Lynney did 50k easily and that's before reactions
@@Aqua001_ Bennett's healing can already easily get him to five stacks. You're a lot better off using Furina to vape and buff. Lyney, Furina, Xiangling, Bennett is one of my favorite teams and Bennett's healing is plenty for it.
Same, her and neuvillette are one of the few DPSes I have that both can 36* abyss and feeling fun as hell while doing so. But ngl im a bit afraid this may be some kind of recency bias

She's the unit I have the most fun with, and the fact she still does good damage on top of that makes her one of my go-to picks though. She's not anyone meta-defining, but I've still been enjoying her a lot.
@@Amethyst.i She's not really a Geo character, she's kinda like Eula where she just hypercarries and her element isn't important. You don't even have to pair her with other Geo characters (Geo resonance is really strong though).
i actually think lyney is actually really good in multiple enemy clear situations, you just change the playstyle away from his charged attacks and into his burst and skill, it can easily clear waves of enemies with ease however i suggest changing the shield for an anemo grouper for this
Slap venti for his cc or kazuha for his grouping and you're set. As someone who uses yoimiya, using venti for smaller enemies and yoimiya for whatever "bigger" enemies works really well on floors 9-11.
Version 3 is about modifying or boosting reactions and their damage, while Version 4 seems to focus on flat buffs and bonus damage (non-reaction damage), and normal and charged attackers.Version 4 has also slowly been improving upon lesser used reactions. Shatter, Physical, Burgeon, Melt, Crystalize, and Overload have all been at least moderately buffed by Freminet, Wrio, Navia, and Chevruse. And now, Xiayun and Jia(Ga) Ming buff the plunge attack playstyle. What else can they think of?
One direction they seen to be going for in play style is quick swap for skill and ultimate and no auto attacking. That's why Furina doesn't require it, and if Navia had a 5* similar to her she might not even want to normal attack either.
@@rafael_lana Yeah, Fontaine gives us normal and charged attackers in Lyney, Neuv, and Wrio and skill attackers in Furina, Navia, and Chevruse, all focused on the connective theme of boosting base damage as opposed to (transformative) reaction damage.
Nilou Bloom with C2 Nahida is so powerful that every team I've tried building since then struggled to rival it. And rotations with that team is so easy: Just make sure everyone is being applied Dendro and Hydro 24/7, then watch bloom cores explode every second or so. It's kind of surprising how that team is still that powerful/relevant considering the influx of broken units in 4.0.
Since her release, Nilou team has been carrying me throughout the Abyss for each floor in 1st half or the other. With the addition of more hydro/dendro, her team feels more flexible and currently Im on her with nahida, kokomi and baizhu with koko being the hydro driver. SHE SO AMAZING!

His skill and burst are both aoe and in his optimal rotations you charge shot three times max With kazuha, you can get most enemies close enough to hit them with lyney skill and burst while xiangling does her thing and kazuha's damage is fine aswell. Overall most mobs die before the charged shot part
I don't know if it's top team worthy, but Chevreuse makes overload teams insane. I've been running her with Raiden, Xiangling, and Bennett to clear floor 12 fast and easy.
worth mentioning in regards to specifically Xiao Hypercarry is that Cloud Retainer seems to have some plunge attack buffing in her kit, while also working a lot better with Furina than Bennett so it looks like our short king stays winning.
My man has some real guts using Nilou bloom against a single target enemy especially someone like ASIMON which needs electro for efficient clearing. Absolute Madlad
I recently pulled Raiden (by accident, trying to get 4stars lol) and decided to finally invest into the National core so I could play Rational. With almost minimal investment, my Rational team tore through Floor 12, to my surprise. Dendro and Fontaine's characters have definitely shifted the meta off Raiden and the National core in itself, but it's insane how well it still performs in any situation whatsoever. Surprised you included International over Rational, but I'm in general agreement with the rest of the list.
Yeah, it's a disgrace that Raiden is never mentioned in any teams, with the exception of her being listed as an Electro character for hyperbloom, which is just an inferior version of DPS Raiden. Kuki does everything better than Raiden as a hyperbloom trigger and she also heals plus the electro is AOE. Now going back to Rational, it's superior to Childe National, anyone can fight me on this. Raiden buffs Yelan and Xiangling's burst damage and she also regens them, so you can put more stats into crit or EM or whatever you prefer. And in turn Yelan also buffs the active character, which will be Raiden. And Raiden hits like a truck by herself and you also have the added benefit of triggering electro charge and both Electro and Hydro stay on target, then you get Vape + Overload for more reactions
Rational is VERY good and I'd include it over International for ease of use and better single-target damage. International AOE is better but that's rarely more beneficial than better ST damage
I've been playing Rational and National teams for 2yrs.And all I can say is Childe variation easy better than Shogun. My Raiden is rly good build but it's just Tartaglia team

Skipped Lyney's, but after three prior skips, finally pulled Yoimiya, and she's been fun in the overworld~ Helps that she's super endeared to be, _especially_ after her second story quest. But between Lyney and Nilou, it may come time before long that I'm tired of skipping them, too...
I feel like alot of ppl already think he’s not good even without really playing him because of all the stigma coming from bow CA, mono-team use. While it looks easy to understand on paper, u need to really play him for a while to understand how strong he can really be.
I submit beidou as one of the most overlooked but incredible additions to a neuvillette team. he is, more or less, the only unit in the game who can maximise beidou's burst procs without switching out before her 15s duration is up to refresh a cooldown or buff.
What I like is that the new teams enable just so many more playstyles. You can still do a classic team like Raiden national or a completly off team like I do but especially for people who like to explore different ways to play those new units offer so many opportunities.
my fave teams since 4.0 started: neuvillette, fischl, kazuha, kokomi/baizhu - i tend to opt more for koko’s version as sometimes neuv’s hydro application alone makes swirling with kazu a pain, but this team is amazing. you’d onl have an issue if you’re shit a dodging with c0 neuv or your fischl’s not stacked on ER. with baizhu the survivability limitation is essentially entirely negated. navia, xiangling, bennett, zhongli - not sure what this team’s called but it’s deff my fave navia variation of what i’ve tested. xiangling’s pp damage is enough to get by on navia’s downtime and she takes such good advantage of benny and zhongli it’s insane. i think a lot of people are sleeping on pairing navia with a second geo, hell i’ve even used yunjin instead of zhong just to see if navia could pull off an itto moment. chaos baizhu (baizhu, fischl, xq, thhoma) - ofc this was a pre-4.0 team but it never gets old at all. mobs, bosses you name it, it’s shredding. the key is making sure thoma is pumped up with all the er he can get through kitain and an er sands, and you’re pretty kuch done and dusted. having c2 baizhu is even better for this as when refreshing the other chara bursts he applies dendro retroactively.

Having played for so long, I have found for myself the most *efficient* team to complete all daily/weekly/overworld content: Kuki, Yelan, Kazoo, and Xiangling. The time wased running around after enemies and loot adds up over the years, and this team just gives all the speed and flexibility for whatever difficulty is needed. However, I do appreciate your video since I pulled a few of the Fontaine characters and I have no idea how to mix and match them. I am suffering from too many options and no content to use them on (outside the boring HP sponges in abyss).
Raiden national still functions pretty damn good ,addition of yelan /furina ets just made it even better i thought i would see them in Honourable mentions
yeah i think the anemo hypercarry mention was honestly a questionable choice. sure its a good team but it gets outdone by a myriad of other ones include rational and even c0 raiden hypercarry with optimal builds.

Madoka magica (kokomi, kazuha, fischl, furina- what if taser, but cute ahh animations and everything dies respectfully?) (yes almost all of these teams have baizhu, i'm nahidaless after all this time sorry)
had to settle for hu tao, wanted raiden, but not enough pulls and banner passed(this was 2 years ago). when i was trying to pull for homa, i reached max fate points and got 2 of neuvillette's weapon. so i was then forced to pull for neuvillette. worked out in the end though because both teams are now broken. neuvillette took no effort to build and slapped everything, helping me achieve 36 star abyss for the first time as well as consistently 36 star it afterwards. highly recommend u pull for him
A Navia double Geo Double Pyro team is pretty cracked and I would offer that up as a viable honorable mention. I haven't even built the artifacts for my Navia, just her signature weapon and talents. I run her with Bennett, Xiangling, and Zhongli and she does consistent damage between 28k-80k.
with 6 stacks in this abyss, c0r1 navia and mistsplitter bennett the highest shot i’ve done was 400k. it’s a fucking insane team but people sleep cos it’s geo (i’m an itto main too so not new to this)
@@heavenschickxx6376 I run a mistsplitter Bennett with my Navia too! I only started playing in July of last year, so the fact that I haven't even built up Navia's artifacts blows my mind. I know my 80k is insignificant. If I had more time to devout to building up my character's she would be absolutely insane with Benny!
I think this video came out too early. The list definitely changed in just a few version updates and we're still not in version 5 yet. I think the proper time would be at version 4.8 just before Natlan comes out and potentially changes everything

I know it's too early to judge, but I think Overload team with Chevreuse (especially Raiden one) can be included to the honorable mention as well. Sure it's total damage maybe fall off to something like hyperbloom or even Childe National, but this team's synergy and ease to use can't be overlooked that easily. I mean if you think about it, Chevreuse is basically 2 artifacts sets in 1 character (VV and Noblesse) and while she also has restrictions of only playing pyro and electro only like Nilou, Chevreuse's kit uses elemental reaction (overload) to trigger her buffs unlike Nilou's that buffs the elemental reaction (bloom). And triggering overload is hella easy to do.
I’m a very noob player and so far I have cleared abyss 12 with full stars using the following teams: Lyney Monopyro (with Kazuha only, unfortunately I don’t have Dehya so it’s really hard not to die) Navia/Albedo Double Geo (I normally use Furina or Benett to buff her, and then another element AoE applier like Charlotte or Xiangling) Nilou superBloom Alhaitham Hyperbloom Neuvilette Hyperbloom For Neuvilette Hyperbloom I normally go for Neuvilette + Furina + Baizhu + Yae And Alhaitham’s is him + Nahida + Kuki + Xingqiu Neuvilette and Alhaitham are the only ones that I can clear ANY abyss 12. I’ve been able to use the other teams for several abyss 12 as well but it doesn’t work everytime.
Honestly, I'm begging hyv to give us another pyro support, at this point I don't even care if it's a 4 star. We have so many pyro characters that just don't work well with Lyney. The best options are Benny and Xiangling, but Xiangling wants you right next to the enemies while Lyney himself wants you to be away from them. It's to the point that I have up trying to have another pyro beside him and Benny, instead use Zhongli and healer Furina. As much as I hope Arlecchino is a support, despite story wise it making complete sense, the chances of that are slim to none-. We have too many close ranged, or even dps' pyro characters for a ranged mono Pyro team, and only one of the actual supports in the game is even good. We just need at least one more pyro support, preferably at least benny level, tho I know that's a long shot- Also, yes, I use healer Furina on the new healing bonus set, her damage isn't why I use her, lol
I think titling the video "strongest" and then ranking the "best" is kinda misleading because strongest means the one that can output the most dmg in a set amount of time while best means they are well balanced in how easy the team is to play and how versatile it is still a great video anyway tho
Yeah, i feel like there are alot of ppl who are trying to downplay him without even owning him. Thou what they type only reflect that they don’t really know a thing about him.
My current favourite Lyney team is Lyney Chevruse Bennet and EM Raiden. It does great dmg , shreds pyro as well , and Raiden with 1000EM does like 22k overloads and those overloads are technically AOE dmg and it doesn't override pyro aura.
As someone who got lucky and pulled both Furina and Neuvillette, I can't wait for Fontaine to end and hydro mimics to leave the abyss again. Hydro immunity is the one and only constraint I have to watch out when it comes to deciding whether or not to use them
I got one copy of Faruzan when she came out but since then IVE BEEN GETTING HER ON WEAPON BANNER AND THE LIMITED EVEN IF HER RATES ARENT UP and now have acquired C6 through these very unusual circumstances
I was hoping you would cover the top five strongest teams including C6 constellations in mind. That way people get an idea on who to save and who's worth getting constellations for. Also those are truly the strongest teams
i think with c6 cons any yelan team is probably top spot based solely on her personal damage alone. ofc from c2+ she becomes incapable of sustaining quickbloom teams but she’s insane regardless. c6 neuvillette…well that’s self explanatory realy. if at c0 he was able to solo abysses at c6 he essentially enters god mode. i’d also class raiden hypercarry at c2+ raiden as a top tier team. an honourable mention would be itto monogeo at c6 itto. geo teams and international are the only counter-proof teams in the game imo, there’s nothing they haven’t been able to shred in a while. i think itto at c1 is on par with anemo hypercarry teams as long as you have c6 gorou and albedo.
I value the overall chillness of playing, which is why I always have Zhongli in any team, screw dps cap, I love less swapping, more utility and chill. I also don’t do abyss, the time pressure is not chill and kills the joy.
Glad lyney team made it on. I’ve had horrible luck with artifacts (he’s not built very well) and yet he still does lots of dmg with zhongli, xiangling and bennett. I’m glad i pulled for him bc i wasnt expecting him to be this good
I guess i'll get myself a neuvillete then I was coping on chiori being healer for my itto team. I'll just focus on itto weapon and neuv. If chiori does grounbreaking geo damage, then only will consider her
My best team is probably Alhaitham c0 r1, nahida c2 r2, xingque c6 sac sword, and kuki c6 freedom sworn. It kills stuff so fast. Oh and nilou bloom is also insane with her at c0, nahida, c1 furina, and baizhu.
I got Nilou by accident 5 wishes after Shenhe, i didn’t even want her at first, but guess what? I love her! She’s fun to play and really strong. She clears my legends of fontaine & natlan, my abyss chambers etc
I found that Charlotte pairs very well with support Dehya, esp if Dehya is C2. Dehya’s interrupt resist means Charlotte gets her full skill charge off every time. Then the timings of their skills line up almost perfectly for Cryo+Pryo reactions for 12 seconds. Then Charlotte heals the whole team up. Rinse/repeat.
My top 5 teams are: 1. Neuvillette, especially Neuvillette forward vape. Neuvillette is super easy to play and does amazing damage with huge AOE. Number one recommended on-field damage dealer. 2. Double-hydro hyperbloom. Hyperbloom using Nahida, Xingqiu, Yelan, and Kuki/Raiden is super easy to play and deals super high single-target damage. The only issue with this team is that other than Nahida C2, there is not much 5 star vertical investment potential with this team. 3. Bountiful bloom. Nilou bloom does great AOE damage, is easy to play, and has high vertical investment potential. With Nahida, this team does great in all situations. 4. Raiden National. Raiden, Xiangling, Bennett, Xingqiu/Yelan is a super easy team to play that can easily shred through enemies and does great in almost any Abyss since you have 3 damage types, good AOE, and good raw damage. Raiden constellations also provide great vertical investment potential, though they may make Raiden hypercarry a better team in most situations. 5. Hu Tao VV vape. Hu Tao, Yelan/Xingqiu, Kazuha, Bennett is a great team with great speedrunning potential, great vertical investment potential, and rewards skill more than any other team on this list. With amazing single-target damage when played right, this team is perfect for anyone who wants a team that rewards playing well. My criteria for good teams are: damage, ease of play, and performance at low to mid levels of 5 star investment and 4 star constellations. All of these teams should perform well at C0R0 or C2R1 5 stars and are not reliant on 4 star constellations. 4 of these teams are also very easy to play, with good damage potential that all players should be able to reach. These aren't necessarily the top 5 highest damage teams, but these are the teams that I would recommend overall.
I personally love using Xiao (MainDPS) Yelan (OffFieldDPS) Nahida (Hyperbloom) and Bennet (Healer/Burn) My xiao does about 3-5k physical every hit and Yelan about 5k hydro with burst thingy. Meaning I make like 10k each hit. (and since Xiao is quick, its easy fast damage) In the meantime I can create hyperbloom with Yelan burst and Nahida skill. Bennet then heels, buffs and triggers the hydroblom to burst and do good damage. (Xiao, Yelan and Nahida are all C0 and Bennet is C5. I have Xiaos Weapon and the 5Star sword for Bennet)
Neuvillette single handedly set a new precedence for how the meta works, and for the hydro dragon it kinda fits him. That's how stupidly strong this man can get. Also, maybe it's cause I just don't personally like nilous play style, but I think she's still slightly overrated. Don't get me wrong, I've seen some stupid number on her, but one of the strongest teams? Honestly I expected maybe a Raiden team or even a navia team. Anyway, cool video!
The way nilou teams scale in aoe scenarios is broken and its dps floor is extremely high, as well as the ease of building it in the sense that you can chase for only em and it'll clear fast anyways. Imo i think community perception of her is just flawed (not talking bout u specifically), the fact her teams' damage profiles are so chaotic she basically just never appears in spreadsheets because of the hassle and also the community's drooling preference for one big hits. They'll literally sleep on a team that does 30k damage five times in a second whilst thinking being able to do 100k above nukes is the holy grail
I appreciate Navia and Raiden teams in single target quite a lot but honestly I have no teams in my account that's better than Nilou bloom for AOE chambers. Not Ayaka's premium team, not the various iterations of Morgana, and not even international although I still need to get better weapons for Xiangling and Childe in that team but still both above 230+ cv. Neuvillette teams appears to be the closest in terms of QoL and clear times, yet falls just slightly behind unless the chamber has a 2nd or 3rd waves of 1 - 2 enemies. The community perception of Nilou that underrates her cause of the niche is more wrong than anything.
I agree on everything besides the lyney thing tbh, I feel like there are situations for him to perform better than some other teams, but those are quíte rare and without really good investment require a lot of execution, on top of that his actually good teams are quite restrictive when it comes to variation. There are a lot of teams that deserve that spot more like the honorable mention of childe national or to keep it simple, just any national variant, because its almost as baseline broken as double hydro, also having 2 interchangeable hydro units (if you have them) and being flexible with almost every PECH carry. But as said, otherwise I agree to almost everything, just a little critique and opinion from my side, good video!!

First of all if you talk about that data you should give evidence which spreadsheets you specifically mean without pulling numbers out of ur ass. Second of all: if you wouldve read my comment right, you wouldve noticed that I was leaning more towards any national variant in general because lets go to the 3rd point: yes, those are objectively better teams => this discussion is about the best teams and not DPS ceilings and even if it was and even if what you said is true => 4. due to his team limitations in mono pyro lyney variants are just not as flexible, making him an a lot worse team setup to go around from an objective standpoint, lol. Also my 5th and last point: you described specifically childe national as so hard to pull off - if you at least look it up within 2mins or join a childe main dc, you will get to know that its 7-9 secs on field with mostly around 3-4 times N2C1 attacks, where the hell is that difficult to pull off, if someone seriously struggles with that on pc, given the time you have for the combo, thats just a big ass skill issue, not to talk about how much of a nobrainer other national variants are as well. Besides those 5 points I could go on about more on this debate, but I think you should get what I am saying now. Despite all of that he’s still an absolute nuke and I’ve never had a problem with his versatility/ niche situations he’s good against anything but pyro enemies so I don’t get your point when that goes for every dps, they don’t all work in every situation. Lyney absolutely deserves that spot. Also childe national is much weaker than lyneys strongest team and national as a whole has fallen off it’s only good for f2p but endgame make national look like a joke with all these new teams
Lyney is the best boss-killer imo. Very high dmg output in instant manner (good for time staller boss with too much i-frame), not skill dependent(no cooldown problem), no ER problem with mono pyro, can easily target flying boss/Underground boss.
Just want to share one of my favorite teams since Furina release Bennett Furina Jean Raiden It probably has less damage than a normal Raiden national, but still it has a good enough damage I like it for the reason i dont have to use Xiangling (dont like her) but also it can be used if you need Xiangling in the other team (though it's unlikely since most of the time you need both Xiangling and Bennett on the same team) Also it's just nice to play another variation of Raiden National
Another really good team after Furina came out is Kokomi, Furina, Yelan and fourth slot can be taken by Kazuha, Venti or Sucrose. Yelan could also be replaced by Xinqiu but then you lose a lot of damage. Awesome team and super fun.
'Double Hydro' encompasses a ridiculous number of good teams. Some of my favorites include Noelle (Noelle + Navia + Yelan + Furina), Mono-Hydro (Kokomi + Yelan + Furina + XQ/Kazuha), and Double Hydro Hyperbloom (Nahida + Yelan + XQ + Kuki)
Nelou works as a DPS or a sub DPS on any team that works off Hydro or dendro reactions just because you don't get the Bountiful chores it doesn't mean that she won't work with an electrical character as well I don't know what you're talking about with the fireworks girl you're mean it is better than Lenny you light up the enemy with her arrows at the right time you can do more damage to her than just about anybody else in the game you don't have to aim her shots like lynees

I want a normal attack 5 star giga buffer. Because yun Jin isn’t amazing but she’s that only thing we have. That way all the mid normal attack characters like Ayato, yoi, wanderer (xiao has been getting so many buffs that he’s most likely better than wanderer (haven’t seen or done calcs)
I believe Xiao is slightly better in aoe and Wanderer in single target, so the later is best at current abyss. That said, Xiao is getting (yet another) buff in Cloud Retainer, but I don't think it's enough to change anything. She maybe enable c0 Furina and allow him to drop Bennet as the optimal pick.
the only thing that counters it imo is the thunder manifestation. that shit flies so high child usually can’t hit it, so it’s not as viable of a team in the current abyss as many may assume
Now I’m curious to see how they intend to bring back to life ‘cryo’, since hydro was clearly a very good element already whereas cryo teams have been more and more forsaken
Whoever named double hydro Flextape is my hero. I will play Hu Tao Flextape until the heatdeath of the universe (or until Arlecchino possibly replaces Hu Tao)
my fav and strongest on account teams are heizou kazuha faruzan dori and wriothesley furina baizhu chongyun somehow i clear abyss quite fine with these, but you are absolutely right Fontaine meta is just so satisfying and easy to get high numbers with. though now almost every dps character I have feels like a ganyu to ayaka comparison, like my itto just does.. something while i love itto a lot more than navia lets be honest who is easier to get high numbers per second with. although i have to mention my itto furina baizhu and zhongli team does keep up with navia in terms of speed and itto's ult hits a lot more enemies than navia's strongest button but rotation can get a tiny bit messy, itto was my first five star char so his investment is still not fully advanced lol. i am glad im not obsessed with meta and love genshin for a lot more but competitive side of mine also wants something for older dps. actually even my ayaka has such a pathetic performance due to her being ultimate dependent and missing boss targets with this ult so I really use wrio and oh boy does he hit right in the spot- (i know who you are). my lyney has made yoimiya for my account quite useless while my baizhu has turned out to be exactly what i need for furina teams. but i can see how genshin tries to make old dps get new specific supports like xianyun for xiao and as a xiao haver who abandoned him with heizou introduction i feel blessed. hope this really becomes a trend which will give us something else in the abyss stats than absolutely usual hyper invested ayaka freeze nahida and neuvillette. can't wait for genshin to finally fully address their old dps chars getting older in meta, i'll be in heaven
Currently I use Zhongli-DMC-Fischl-Neuvi & plan to build Xiangling-Bennet-Sucrose-Xingqiu. So will I be able to tear through abyss?? (currently floor 5) AR42. I also have Keqing and some other 4* so how should I build my team?
I was fortunate enough to get my first 4 faruzans on the same banner I got wandere (his re-run), and then got 3 more faruzans from standard. I got and c6-ed faruzan in 2 months I'm 100% free to play btw, just have a very good luck on character banners Wish I can say the same about weapon banners or artifact farming

From my calculations lyney is a straight up downgrade in most scenarios to hutao even in single target with very few excepfions such as cryo abyss herolds

Lyney was my first limited 5-star I vertically invested in, and boi, does his damage not disappoint. Vars mentioned he’s primarily a single target dps, but both his skill and burst do have a little bit of nuke aoe, efficient to hit small clutters of enemies. Both back to back usually do the trick.
If you have Furina, you can use healing mode to go up to 5 stacks and increase his damage(Dehya,Furina,Bennet,Lyney is what i am using currently)
Fr I run him all the time. Hes my favorite character in design and personality and I'm so thankful he's such a good unit. When buffed he'll hit 100k on charged shots and 200-300k on his burst and skill.
Lyney is also good at crowd control! I almost always bring C1 Lyney into the “protect the obelisk” floors because of the way his cats aggro enemies around it, dragging them away from the middle!
Yeah I feel that as well, you see I didn't pull for him because I have a top 2% Ganyu and I also have a top 1% Hu Tao and a pretty well built Yoimiya and Diluc so I thought I didn't need her but there was this one time when I needed some extra mats for a weapon so I had to farm it on another world and they just so happen to use Lynney, while my Ganyu easily does 18k+34k charged shots, that Lynney did 50k easily and that's before reactions
@@Aqua001_ Bennett's healing can already easily get him to five stacks. You're a lot better off using Furina to vape and buff. Lyney, Furina, Xiangling, Bennett is one of my favorite teams and Bennett's healing is plenty for it.
Navia is my new favourite main , not only she does very high damage but she also super fun to play
Same, her and neuvillette are one of the few DPSes I have that both can 36* abyss and feeling fun as hell while doing so. But ngl im a bit afraid this may be some kind of recency bias
@@agiant5715I got navia for myself as well. I'll admit there's still stronger carries out there, but navia is just so incredibly fun to play. She's the unit I have the most fun with, and the fact she still does good damage on top of that makes her one of my go-to picks though. She's not anyone meta-defining, but I've still been enjoying her a lot.

@@Amethyst.i She's not really a Geo character, she's kinda like Eula where she just hypercarries and her element isn't important. You don't even have to pair her with other Geo characters (Geo resonance is really strong though).

i actually think lyney is actually really good in multiple enemy clear situations, you just change the playstyle away from his charged attacks and into his burst and skill, it can easily clear waves of enemies with ease however i suggest changing the shield for an anemo grouper for this
Slap venti for his cc or kazuha for his grouping and you're set. As someone who uses yoimiya, using venti for smaller enemies and yoimiya for whatever "bigger" enemies works really well on floors 9-11.

Version 3 is about modifying or boosting reactions and their damage, while Version 4 seems to focus on flat buffs and bonus damage (non-reaction damage), and normal and charged attackers.Version 4 has also slowly been improving upon lesser used reactions. Shatter, Physical, Burgeon, Melt, Crystalize, and Overload have all been at least moderately buffed by Freminet, Wrio, Navia, and Chevruse. And now, Xiayun and Jia(Ga) Ming buff the plunge attack playstyle. What else can they think of?
One direction they seen to be going for in play style is quick swap for skill and ultimate and no auto attacking. That's why Furina doesn't require it, and if Navia had a 5* similar to her she might not even want to normal attack either.

Nilou Bloom with C2 Nahida is so powerful that every team I've tried building since then struggled to rival it. And rotations with that team is so easy: Just make sure everyone is being applied Dendro and Hydro 24/7, then watch bloom cores explode every second or so. It's kind of surprising how that team is still that powerful/relevant considering the influx of broken units in 4.0.

Since her release, Nilou team has been carrying me throughout the Abyss for each floor in 1st half or the other. With the addition of more hydro/dendro, her team feels more flexible and currently Im on her with nahida, kokomi and baizhu with koko being the hydro driver. SHE SO AMAZING!
I have feeling when natlan comes melt, vape and blast is going to make a comeback.

With kazuha, you can get most enemies close enough to hit them with lyney skill and burst while xiangling does her thing and kazuha's damage is fine aswell. Overall most mobs die before the charged shot part

worth mentioning in regards to specifically Xiao Hypercarry is that Cloud Retainer seems to have some plunge attack buffing in her kit, while also working a lot better with Furina than Bennett so it looks like our short king stays winning.
My man has some real guts using Nilou bloom against a single target enemy especially someone like ASIMON which needs electro for efficient clearing. Absolute Madlad
I recently pulled Raiden (by accident, trying to get 4stars lol) and decided to finally invest into the National core so I could play Rational. With almost minimal investment, my Rational team tore through Floor 12, to my surprise. Dendro and Fontaine's characters have definitely shifted the meta off Raiden and the National core in itself, but it's insane how well it still performs in any situation whatsoever. Surprised you included International over Rational, but I'm in general agreement with the rest of the list.
Yeah, it's a disgrace that Raiden is never mentioned in any teams, with the exception of her being listed as an Electro character for hyperbloom, which is just an inferior version of DPS Raiden. Kuki does everything better than Raiden as a hyperbloom trigger and she also heals plus the electro is AOE.
Now going back to Rational, it's superior to Childe National, anyone can fight me on this. Raiden buffs Yelan and Xiangling's burst damage and she also regens them, so you can put more stats into crit or EM or whatever you prefer. And in turn Yelan also buffs the active character, which will be Raiden. And Raiden hits like a truck by herself and you also have the added benefit of triggering electro charge and both Electro and Hydro stay on target, then you get Vape + Overload for more reactions
Rational is VERY good and I'd include it over International for ease of use and better single-target damage. International AOE is better but that's rarely more beneficial than better ST damage
I've been playing Rational and National teams for 2yrs.And all I can say is Childe variation easy better than Shogun. My Raiden is rly good build but it's just Tartaglia team

Skipped Lyney's, but after three prior skips, finally pulled Yoimiya, and she's been fun in the overworld~ Helps that she's super endeared to be, _especially_ after her second story quest. But between Lyney and Nilou, it may come time before long that I'm tired of skipping them, too...

I feel like alot of ppl already think he’s not good even without really playing him because of all the stigma coming from bow CA, mono-team use. While it looks easy to understand on paper, u need to really play him for a while to understand how strong he can really be.
7:05 thats why my convoluted team of yae, furina, kokomi and kazuha obliterated the abyss compared to my hypercarries who are 15s short
I submit beidou as one of the most overlooked but incredible additions to a neuvillette team. he is, more or less, the only unit in the game who can maximise beidou's burst procs without switching out before her 15s duration is up to refresh a cooldown or buff.
What I like is that the new teams enable just so many more playstyles.
You can still do a classic team like Raiden national or a completly off team like I do but especially for people who like to explore different ways to play those new units offer so many opportunities.
my fave teams since 4.0 started:
neuvillette, fischl, kazuha, kokomi/baizhu - i tend to opt more for koko’s version as sometimes neuv’s hydro application alone makes swirling with kazu a pain, but this team is amazing. you’d onl have an issue if you’re shit a dodging with c0 neuv or your fischl’s not stacked on ER. with baizhu the survivability limitation is essentially entirely negated.
navia, xiangling, bennett, zhongli - not sure what this team’s called but it’s deff my fave navia variation of what i’ve tested. xiangling’s pp damage is enough to get by on navia’s downtime and she takes such good advantage of benny and zhongli it’s insane. i think a lot of people are sleeping on pairing navia with a second geo, hell i’ve even used yunjin instead of zhong just to see if navia could pull off an itto moment.
chaos baizhu (baizhu, fischl, xq, thhoma) - ofc this was a pre-4.0 team but it never gets old at all. mobs, bosses you name it, it’s shredding. the key is making sure thoma is pumped up with all the er he can get through kitain and an er sands, and you’re pretty kuch done and dusted. having c2 baizhu is even better for this as when refreshing the other chara bursts he applies dendro retroactively.

Having played for so long, I have found for myself the most *efficient* team to complete all daily/weekly/overworld content: Kuki, Yelan, Kazoo, and Xiangling. The time wased running around after enemies and loot adds up over the years, and this team just gives all the speed and flexibility for whatever difficulty is needed. However, I do appreciate your video since I pulled a few of the Fontaine characters and I have no idea how to mix and match them. I am suffering from too many options and no content to use them on (outside the boring HP sponges in abyss).
Raiden national still functions pretty damn good ,addition of yelan /furina ets just made it even better i thought i would see them in Honourable mentions
yeah i think the anemo hypercarry mention was honestly a questionable choice. sure its a good team but it gets outdone by a myriad of other ones include rational and even c0 raiden hypercarry with optimal builds.

(yes almost all of these teams have baizhu, i'm nahidaless after all this time sorry)
had to settle for hu tao, wanted raiden, but not enough pulls and banner passed(this was 2 years ago). when i was trying to pull for homa, i reached max fate points and got 2 of neuvillette's weapon. so i was then forced to pull for neuvillette. worked out in the end though because both teams are now broken. neuvillette took no effort to build and slapped everything, helping me achieve 36 star abyss for the first time as well as consistently 36 star it afterwards. highly recommend u pull for him
A Navia double Geo Double Pyro team is pretty cracked and I would offer that up as a viable honorable mention. I haven't even built the artifacts for my Navia, just her signature weapon and talents. I run her with Bennett, Xiangling, and Zhongli and she does consistent damage between 28k-80k.
with 6 stacks in this abyss, c0r1 navia and mistsplitter bennett the highest shot i’ve done was 400k. it’s a fucking insane team but people sleep cos it’s geo (i’m an itto main too so not new to this)
@@heavenschickxx6376 I run a mistsplitter Bennett with my Navia too! I only started playing in July of last year, so the fact that I haven't even built up Navia's artifacts blows my mind. I know my 80k is insignificant. If I had more time to devout to building up my character's she would be absolutely insane with Benny!
I think this video came out too early. The list definitely changed in just a few version updates and we're still not in version 5 yet. I think the proper time would be at version 4.8 just before Natlan comes out and potentially changes everything

I know it's too early to judge, but I think Overload team with Chevreuse (especially Raiden one) can be included to the honorable mention as well. Sure it's total damage maybe fall off to something like hyperbloom or even Childe National, but this team's synergy and ease to use can't be overlooked that easily. I mean if you think about it, Chevreuse is basically 2 artifacts sets in 1 character (VV and Noblesse) and while she also has restrictions of only playing pyro and electro only like Nilou, Chevreuse's kit uses elemental reaction (overload) to trigger her buffs unlike Nilou's that buffs the elemental reaction (bloom). And triggering overload is hella easy to do.
People haven't caught up to it yet. In a matter of time, chevy will easily out chart many teams, mark my words.

I’m a very noob player and so far I have cleared abyss 12 with full stars using the following teams:
Lyney Monopyro (with Kazuha only, unfortunately I don’t have Dehya so it’s really hard not to die)
Navia/Albedo Double Geo (I normally use Furina or Benett to buff her, and then another element AoE applier like Charlotte or Xiangling)
Nilou superBloom
Alhaitham Hyperbloom
Neuvilette Hyperbloom
For Neuvilette Hyperbloom I normally go for Neuvilette + Furina + Baizhu + Yae
And Alhaitham’s is him + Nahida + Kuki + Xingqiu
Neuvilette and Alhaitham are the only ones that I can clear ANY abyss 12. I’ve been able to use the other teams for several abyss 12 as well but it doesn’t work everytime.
Honestly, I'm begging hyv to give us another pyro support, at this point I don't even care if it's a 4 star. We have so many pyro characters that just don't work well with Lyney. The best options are Benny and Xiangling, but Xiangling wants you right next to the enemies while Lyney himself wants you to be away from them. It's to the point that I have up trying to have another pyro beside him and Benny, instead use Zhongli and healer Furina. As much as I hope Arlecchino is a support, despite story wise it making complete sense, the chances of that are slim to none-. We have too many close ranged, or even dps' pyro characters for a ranged mono Pyro team, and only one of the actual supports in the game is even good. We just need at least one more pyro support, preferably at least benny level, tho I know that's a long shot-
Also, yes, I use healer Furina on the new healing bonus set, her damage isn't why I use her, lol

I think titling the video "strongest" and then ranking the "best" is kinda misleading because strongest means the one that can output the most dmg in a set amount of time while best means they are well balanced in how easy the team is to play and how versatile it is still a great video anyway tho
"Best" is a subjective term, that's your definition. Some people would say best and strongest are the same, some would say 4 waifus is best team 😂

My current favourite Lyney team is Lyney Chevruse Bennet and EM Raiden.
It does great dmg , shreds pyro as well , and Raiden with 1000EM does like 22k overloads and those overloads are technically AOE dmg and it doesn't override pyro aura.
As someone who got lucky and pulled both Furina and Neuvillette, I can't wait for Fontaine to end and hydro mimics to leave the abyss again. Hydro immunity is the one and only constraint I have to watch out when it comes to deciding whether or not to use them
I got one copy of Faruzan when she came out but since then IVE BEEN GETTING HER ON WEAPON BANNER AND THE LIMITED EVEN IF HER RATES ARENT UP and now have acquired C6 through these very unusual circumstances
I was hoping you would cover the top five strongest teams including C6 constellations in mind. That way people get an idea on who to save and who's worth getting constellations for. Also those are truly the strongest teams
i think with c6 cons any yelan team is probably top spot based solely on her personal damage alone. ofc from c2+ she becomes incapable of sustaining quickbloom teams but she’s insane regardless.
c6 neuvillette…well that’s self explanatory realy. if at c0 he was able to solo abysses at c6 he essentially enters god mode.
i’d also class raiden hypercarry at c2+ raiden as a top tier team.
an honourable mention would be itto monogeo at c6 itto. geo teams and international are the only counter-proof teams in the game imo, there’s nothing they haven’t been able to shred in a while. i think itto at c1 is on par with anemo hypercarry teams as long as you have c6 gorou and albedo.

My best team is probably Alhaitham c0 r1, nahida c2 r2, xingque c6 sac sword, and kuki c6 freedom sworn. It kills stuff so fast. Oh and nilou bloom is also insane with her at c0, nahida, c1 furina, and baizhu.
The Neuvilette section was crazy, I just learned some new stuff 💀😂
I got Nilou by accident 5 wishes after Shenhe, i didn’t even want her at first, but guess what? I love her! She’s fun to play and really strong. She clears my legends of fontaine & natlan, my abyss chambers etc

I found that Charlotte pairs very well with support Dehya, esp if Dehya is C2. Dehya’s interrupt resist means Charlotte gets her full skill charge off every time. Then the timings of their skills line up almost perfectly for Cryo+Pryo reactions for 12 seconds. Then Charlotte heals the whole team up. Rinse/repeat.
If youre struggling with using lyney against crowds, bringing venti or kazuha can easily repair this
My top 5 teams are:
1. Neuvillette, especially Neuvillette forward vape. Neuvillette is super easy to play and does amazing damage with huge AOE. Number one recommended on-field damage dealer.
2. Double-hydro hyperbloom. Hyperbloom using Nahida, Xingqiu, Yelan, and Kuki/Raiden is super easy to play and deals super high single-target damage. The only issue with this team is that other than Nahida C2, there is not much 5 star vertical investment potential with this team.
3. Bountiful bloom. Nilou bloom does great AOE damage, is easy to play, and has high vertical investment potential. With Nahida, this team does great in all situations.
4. Raiden National. Raiden, Xiangling, Bennett, Xingqiu/Yelan is a super easy team to play that can easily shred through enemies and does great in almost any Abyss since you have 3 damage types, good AOE, and good raw damage. Raiden constellations also provide great vertical investment potential, though they may make Raiden hypercarry a better team in most situations.
5. Hu Tao VV vape. Hu Tao, Yelan/Xingqiu, Kazuha, Bennett is a great team with great speedrunning potential, great vertical investment potential, and rewards skill more than any other team on this list. With amazing single-target damage when played right, this team is perfect for anyone who wants a team that rewards playing well.
My criteria for good teams are: damage, ease of play, and performance at low to mid levels of 5 star investment and 4 star constellations. All of these teams should perform well at C0R0 or C2R1 5 stars and are not reliant on 4 star constellations. 4 of these teams are also very easy to play, with good damage potential that all players should be able to reach. These aren't necessarily the top 5 highest damage teams, but these are the teams that I would recommend overall.

Raiden Overload with Chevreuse seems extremely good, I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up on top team lists like this one in a few weeks
I personally love using Xiao (MainDPS) Yelan (OffFieldDPS) Nahida (Hyperbloom) and Bennet (Healer/Burn)
My xiao does about 3-5k physical every hit and Yelan about 5k hydro with burst thingy. Meaning I make like 10k each hit. (and since Xiao is quick, its easy fast damage)
In the meantime I can create hyperbloom with Yelan burst and Nahida skill.
Bennet then heels, buffs and triggers the hydroblom to burst and do good damage.
(Xiao, Yelan and Nahida are all C0 and Bennet is C5. I have Xiaos Weapon and the 5Star sword for Bennet)
Neuvillette single handedly set a new precedence for how the meta works, and for the hydro dragon it kinda fits him. That's how stupidly strong this man can get.
Also, maybe it's cause I just don't personally like nilous play style, but I think she's still slightly overrated. Don't get me wrong, I've seen some stupid number on her, but one of the strongest teams? Honestly I expected maybe a Raiden team or even a navia team. Anyway, cool video!
The way nilou teams scale in aoe scenarios is broken and its dps floor is extremely high, as well as the ease of building it in the sense that you can chase for only em and it'll clear fast anyways. Imo i think community perception of her is just flawed (not talking bout u specifically), the fact her teams' damage profiles are so chaotic she basically just never appears in spreadsheets because of the hassle and also the community's drooling preference for one big hits.
They'll literally sleep on a team that does 30k damage five times in a second whilst thinking being able to do 100k above nukes is the holy grail
Well, nilou teams still hold the crown for AOE performance so id say its a valid entry to the list
I appreciate Navia and Raiden teams in single target quite a lot but honestly I have no teams in my account that's better than Nilou bloom for AOE chambers. Not Ayaka's premium team, not the various iterations of Morgana, and not even international although I still need to get better weapons for Xiangling and Childe in that team but still both above 230+ cv. Neuvillette teams appears to be the closest in terms of QoL and clear times, yet falls just slightly behind unless the chamber has a 2nd or 3rd waves of 1 - 2 enemies. The community perception of Nilou that underrates her cause of the niche is more wrong than anything.
I agree on everything besides the lyney thing tbh, I feel like there are situations for him to perform better than some other teams, but those are quíte rare and without really good investment require a lot of execution, on top of that his actually good teams are quite restrictive when it comes to variation. There are a lot of teams that deserve that spot more like the honorable mention of childe national or to keep it simple, just any national variant, because its almost as baseline broken as double hydro, also having 2 interchangeable hydro units (if you have them) and being flexible with almost every PECH carry.
But as said, otherwise I agree to almost everything, just a little critique and opinion from my side, good video!!

I will be real, not to be disrespectful because I love good discussions, but this is bullshit. First of all if you talk about that data you should give evidence which spreadsheets you specifically mean without pulling numbers out of ur ass. Second of all: if you wouldve read my comment right, you wouldve noticed that I was leaning more towards any national variant in general because lets go to the 3rd point: yes, those are objectively better teams => this discussion is about the best teams and not DPS ceilings and even if it was and even if what you said is true => 4. due to his team limitations in mono pyro lyney variants are just not as flexible, making him an a lot worse team setup to go around from an objective standpoint, lol.
Also my 5th and last point: you described specifically childe national as so hard to pull off - if you at least look it up within 2mins or join a childe main dc, you will get to know that its 7-9 secs on field with mostly around 3-4 times N2C1 attacks, where the hell is that difficult to pull off, if someone seriously struggles with that on pc, given the time you have for the combo, thats just a big ass skill issue, not to talk about how much of a nobrainer other national variants are as well.
Besides those 5 points I could go on about more on this debate, but I think you should get what I am saying now.

Despite all of that he’s still an absolute nuke and I’ve never had a problem with his versatility/ niche situations he’s good against anything but pyro enemies so I don’t get your point when that goes for every dps, they don’t all work in every situation. Lyney absolutely deserves that spot. Also childe national is much weaker than lyneys strongest team and national as a whole has fallen off it’s only good for f2p but endgame make national look like a joke with all these new teams
Lyney is the best boss-killer imo. Very high dmg output in instant manner (good for time staller boss with too much i-frame), not skill dependent(no cooldown problem), no ER problem with mono pyro, can easily target flying boss/Underground boss.

It probably has less damage than a normal Raiden national, but still it has a good enough damage
I like it for the reason i dont have to use Xiangling (dont like her) but also it can be used if you need Xiangling in the other team (though it's unlikely since most of the time you need both Xiangling and Bennett on the same team)
Also it's just nice to play another variation of Raiden National

Another really good team after Furina came out is Kokomi, Furina, Yelan and fourth slot can be taken by Kazuha, Venti or Sucrose. Yelan could also be replaced by Xinqiu but then you lose a lot of damage. Awesome team and super fun.

'Double Hydro' encompasses a ridiculous number of good teams. Some of my favorites include Noelle (Noelle + Navia + Yelan + Furina), Mono-Hydro (Kokomi + Yelan + Furina + XQ/Kazuha), and Double Hydro Hyperbloom (Nahida + Yelan + XQ + Kuki)
Nelou works as a DPS or a sub DPS on any team that works off Hydro or dendro reactions just because you don't get the Bountiful chores it doesn't mean that she won't work with an electrical character as well I don't know what you're talking about with the fireworks girl you're mean it is better than Lenny you light up the enemy with her arrows at the right time you can do more damage to her than just about anybody else in the game you don't have to aim her shots like lynees

I want a normal attack 5 star giga buffer. Because yun Jin isn’t amazing but she’s that only thing we have. That way all the mid normal attack characters like Ayato, yoi, wanderer (xiao has been getting so many buffs that he’s most likely better than wanderer (haven’t seen or done calcs)
I believe Xiao is slightly better in aoe and Wanderer in single target, so the later is best at current abyss. That said, Xiao is getting (yet another) buff in Cloud Retainer, but I don't think it's enough to change anything. She maybe enable c0 Furina and allow him to drop Bennet as the optimal pick.

out of experience in a prototype amber neuvi team u don't need a healer because the weapon gives healing and even gets furina stacks faster
my fav and strongest on account teams are heizou kazuha faruzan dori and wriothesley furina baizhu chongyun somehow i clear abyss quite fine with these, but you are absolutely right Fontaine meta is just so satisfying and easy to get high numbers with. though now almost every dps character I have feels like a ganyu to ayaka comparison, like my itto just does.. something while i love itto a lot more than navia lets be honest who is easier to get high numbers per second with. although i have to mention my itto furina baizhu and zhongli team does keep up with navia in terms of speed and itto's ult hits a lot more enemies than navia's strongest button but rotation can get a tiny bit messy, itto was my first five star char so his investment is still not fully advanced lol. i am glad im not obsessed with meta and love genshin for a lot more but competitive side of mine also wants something for older dps. actually even my ayaka has such a pathetic performance due to her being ultimate dependent and missing boss targets with this ult so I really use wrio and oh boy does he hit right in the spot- (i know who you are). my lyney has made yoimiya for my account quite useless while my baizhu has turned out to be exactly what i need for furina teams. but i can see how genshin tries to make old dps get new specific supports like xianyun for xiao and as a xiao haver who abandoned him with heizou introduction i feel blessed. hope this really becomes a trend which will give us something else in the abyss stats than absolutely usual hyper invested ayaka freeze nahida and neuvillette. can't wait for genshin to finally fully address their old dps chars getting older in meta, i'll be in heaven
