12 years and I keep coming back to this beautiful art. They should put it on a 2nd Voyager as our messenger to space. This speaks for the best in humanity
This is what I always tell people, dance isn't always about the turns and the tricks. It's about the creativeness and the artist aspect of it. The way you show the emotion. Amazing numbers can be the simplest choreography.
This video inspired me to begin dancing again 4 years ago. It still holds a special place in my heart and still watch it often. Thank you Matt and Emma for creating the most amazing pieces of work.
I have danced for 22 years. Broken every toe, stretched every muscle, felt every ake and pain a dancer can feel, I have also felt the bliss of feeling as though your body has become the framing of a sound/word/ energy. My limbs laying , draped over the music. The sound holding me together, not vica versa , I have felt that Devine grace , where body and vibration become one union. Where we are of no significance, yet we are essential, to the forming of the moment. I have felt that feeling. In this piece they ride the sound as if it were made to form there shape. It’s exquisite. And it brings me back to the moments I have felt just that present and aligned. Amazing!!! I have seen thousands of dance videos, but seldom does a heart also go with the image. This is full of heart. I tip my hat to the entire journey it took to make this video. It’s truly a thing of beauty. Divinely channeled from life’s most delicate , and most fierce form. The human body. I am in awe. Thank you dancers. Your work does not go unseen.
The whole time I just kept thinking, "this is unreal." That such human inclinations and feeling can be captured in gesture....I-just. gah.. I have no more words
I once said that dancers, like myself, have the privilege of holding , then framing sound. That it is as if we rest our souls on shapes and vibration of the musical artist. In the grace of this dance, I’m transported through feeling. Truly, truly phenomenal.
The entire senior company at my studio was completely silent while we watched this. The music was truly like listening to them move. Thank you for the inspiration. This is art!
I've never commented on a video before but I had to on this one - it's been 4 years since I first saw this video and I still keep coming back to it frequently: on bad days, on good days, on days where I need a cheering up. Today was one of those days, and this video never fails to make my chest feel a little lighter and it all a little warmer. Thank you for that; I think it takes the best sort of art to do that. :)
this is amazing. People are obsessed with Dance Moms, but don't know that there are people who should be famous who are better than them and aren't. This is absolutely beautiful.
After watching this for the fifteenth time I decide to share with friends. I copy the info and paste into an e-mail. This pasted along with it: "When you're in a relationship that is stuck at it's lowest point. The days are so long. But you have no desire for it to change. You get used to it and you accept it." It took my breath away. My life recently was this. Change it. Don't accept. Life is too short. Wipe the tears away and take life on. Time Heals, Life WILL be better. BEAUTIFUL video.
i have watched this video every day, at least twice a day for the last 3 weeks... thank you for sharing your talent with the world. it's things like this that remind me why i dance. absolutely beautiful.
I thank god for dancers like you, you guys just shined the light into my eyes and the love for dance in my heart, making me want to burst into tears of the beauty that i am watching.
I showed this piece to my dancers...it is so unique, so tender...perfectly executed...hard and soft at the same time. and...it touches me, even after seeing it 20 times.
This choreography is so beautiful, amazing, tender und subtle. I really love the way they work with the tempo of their moves and the beautiful language of the dance. Thank you so much for this piece of art. It was inspiring and an pleasure for myself. Greetings from Germany.

I can honestly say that this is one of the best peices of choreography I have ever seen, and I have danced and watched dance since I was three. On top of that, the dancing is impeccable. This is so inspirational. Thank you.

I have never seen this before, and it just blew my mind! WOW what a brilliant piece of art! Emma and Matt you are brilliant dance geniuses. This is one of the best routines I have ever seen, and I was sitting watching all the seasons of SYTYCD seasons with all those routines. This is one of the best of them all. Love this, thank you for the beautiful work and the feelings this created.

I like this version of the song better than the original tbh. Didn’t even know this song existed really until I saw this video.
I could watch that a thousand times over and not get even a hint of boredom.
The whole time I just kept thinking, "this is unreal."
