So basically to fix it you set the resolution in video or graphics in settings. To the correct resolution you are gaming on. For example 1920 x 1080 or 2560 x 1440 depending on ur monitor res

A permanent fix for this is to press the left arrow on the resolution until it reaches the lowest possible resolution, then press the left arrow one more time and it will reset to the highest resolution possible. If it resets to a resolution that isn't quite maxed, repeat the method one more time and it will. Fixed my issue permanently. Hope this helps someone!

If you repeatedly press the right arrow for the resolution it will start raising your resoulution to 1920 x 1080 and you wont have the tiny black bars on the top and bottom of the game and it wont reset itself everytime you get in and out of a game
