Love your videos! I like the same maps as well! I would advise you to bring crucifix and place it on table as the first item along with salt and incense to prevent ghost spawning on top of you, then you can turn off grace period which gives significant multiplier.

My golden apocalypse challenge came down to a Yurei or Goryo... in 1 entire hour, it didn't change rooms... At one point I thought but wasn't sure if I heard the double door touch/slam... never did it again. The ghost type was the only thing left I needed.... I guessed Goryo due it not changing it's room in an hour... It was a Yurei... I raged. Lol
I really need help understanding the Twins. I get that there is varying speeds but like when? In the same hunt? Or if one hunt it's slower and then another hunt it's faster? Could twins have different spawn rooms? Cuz I thought interactions between 2 seperate locations could be an indicator but after that occurred and it was an Oni I now don't think that's true... I'm so confused.
You missed this comment on your last video but to test for Yurei, when you smudge the ghost, a Yurei cant leave the ghost room for 90 seconds (can tell by putting motion sensor to track it). Also ghost events outside the room don't disprove its a Yurei with this test
Tier 3 is pretty much the best for every item, with a few exceptions. The Tier 1 Incense can be more useful in some cases as well as the Tier 2 UV and the Tier 2 Salt. Thank you!! :)
For the Mimic, orbs count as its ability rather than evidence. Mimic orbs are "fake" evidence, meaning you can still see them even if you have all of the evidence turned off. Hope this helps :)
Hey man, how do you not get bored when playing this game? Once you've got this level of game knowledge it must be so mundane going in, kiting the ghost, figuring it out by the sound of it's toes on the carpet and leaving in 3 mins.
It can get repetitive, which is why I always try to find new ways to play such as speedrunning or randomizing. I also try to pace myself so that I don't burnout. I appreciate the question! :)
Because yokais cant detect people from more than 2.5 meters and this one detected him from further. (For reference a normal ghost can detect you from 7.5 meters)

u can test goryo with video cam and dots on the truck. I doubt your using it bc of no evidence but that's what I always do
only phantom and banshee hunt on top of you outside of their room right? So shouldn't you have known it was banshee on the last one?
