- Today we show you the small town Askham located in the Northern Cape province. Askham is a about 200 kilometres north of Upington, at the intersection of the R31 and the R360 roads, you'll find this settlement in the Red Kalahari Desert, not far from the confluence of the mostly dry Molopo and Kuruman Rivers. Explore the town of Askham with us and learn about its fascinating past.

Also in this video, Askham was founded around a boarding house for students in 1931, the Dutch Reformed Church of Askam ministers to people across the Kalahari. Gravel roads encircle the village, which features a convenience store and a cafe.

It seems your format has changed drastically. In stead of short clips of lots of places (very interesting to us), it seems to be a longer video of just one place each day, which isn’t as interesting. Will it continue like this in the future?
