Yeah it's not even listed under the new games list on Xbox/Microsoft Store when i scrolled new games , had to search by name to find it . Hope people buy it to give the dev cred and pusch the woke era down the drains .
This game was pure fun back in the day but yhe bugs and issues are a massive ewwww

Played the repop for a few hours. It's a buggy mess. Hope they will fix it soon. I loved the songs and looks of the environment from the original one. So, I prefer the original one for right now.

I enjoyed this game and finished it and to me that's all that matters.
For anybody that MIGHT find it interesting...mods for this game work on the switch version, and that includes restoring original music.

@maverickay5807 assuming you have a modded switch, it's almost exactly how you would mod the pc version
played this when it came out on ps3. Weird as those songs are gone, that was one of the best parts. I was hoping theyd fix level design but game can still be beat in about 5 hours... maybe they will do a sequel or dlc for this but i doubt it.
So far it looks I'm still ballin with the old PS3 release
I’m sure there will be a mod to drop all the original music back in its proper place. I just haven’t seen it yet.
I didn’t have any of the bugs that a lot of people are saying they’ve found and I’m on an older AMD system 5950X with a 5700XT and 32 GB of ram.

Hey! Honestly, if you loved the original, it’s worth a shot. A few months in, most of the early kinks seem smoothed out, and it still nails that ridiculous, over-the-top fun the series is known for. If you’re into wild hack-and-slash games with a crazy sense of humor, it’s a good time to jump in. Let me know what you think if you grab it!

I want a physical copy, but I'm not sure if Limited Run is restocking it, and Playasia doesn't have English box art as well as dlc is region locked. At this point I wonder if getting a digital copy isn't as bad of a decision?
@@frankkennedy6388 Digital doesn’t have the same collector’s charm, but it’s definitely the easier option if you want to avoid region issues and guarantee access to all the content. If you’re set on a physical copy, it might be worth checking secondhand markets to see if any good deals come up.
In the overall… Yes, quantifiably so.
Played at couple of hours. And was really disappointed, as I loved the original, and this remaster just felt poorly optimized and really flat without the original music, the new songs I have heard are really bad and the lack of the Hey Mickie song, which played everytime you activated sparkle mode, makes the game feel really incomplete.

Can't agree on the soundtrack, while stage music is fine, they replaced all the boss tracks, and the new ones are pretty generic compared to the bangers from the original.

I have a couple of little things that bug me about your review I'm sorry the first thing was that you said that will this game live up to the hype the hype already happened it's an old game it did live up to the hype that's why there's a remastered years later the other thing that bothered me that seemed kind of backwards was saying that new players might not like the fact that the age of the game is showing and old players will appreciate the new Fresh coat of paint I think that old players already know about the age of the game and they want to appreciate it for the Fresh coat of paint and I think that new players don't think it's old because they haven't played it yet so they're actually thankful for the new coat of paint because that's what makes it seem new if you know what I'm saying I'm sorry it's just a nitpick but you have a certain way of writing certain sentences that almost seemed backwards I had to say something
