this is a really good video, it not only shows ways that you can improve upon established trolls, but also goes over stuff like order of trolls, and a/b/c trolls (that second one i had not heard of and i have made a few level already). The only thing I would add to this is saying watching videos of/playing other's troll levels. not only cause it helps out the maker gain traction but it can also give you inspiration or an idea that you really like and can use/improve upon. thank you for making this video

I think the best thing to think about when making a troll level is subverting the players expectations. Make them think they are smart and are going the right way only to crush their hopes and dreams. lol
Actually some troll level makers have different ways of making good troll levels. I’m one of them two and I just think of a funny way to troll the player and then work on the contraption. He’s got an entirely different way of making troll levels. Also on my 3D world troll level I’m currently making I did the same thing twice lol

3:02 im pre sure u cant do that anymore or I'm doing something wrong since when u hit the kaizo block the p switch is in it gets destroyed, i think they changed something with the on off blocks since a perfectly working muncher trap I used to have doesn't work anymore because the on off blocks kill the muncher where they never used to. Edit I was doing something wrong, i forgot to put the wings on the p switch in the kaizo block
The key to a great troll level is to disect the psychology and habits of the players. Put yourselves in their shoes on how you would react to a simple trap, and adjust your own accordingly. It's about adding layers to your level to make it "a troll level."

In my level the 1st troll you come across Is where you have a certain amount of time to leave the spawn area if you don't leave the spawn area in that Amount of time Munchers will block the way to get through the level
@19:44 how do I use the custom scroll to do same type of hint where it scrolls up and then down? I'm trying to learn how to use the custom scroll and can't seem to get that part working
I made my own troll Where you put 2 walls next to a spring in the ground An invisible block on top of the spring and it traps you Game style: smb (must be smb)

1:22 I use my kaizo blocks differently in the level im making: one will knock you into the poison but you can walk on the poison without taking damage
