She’s not counting the shark. And I think I’ve heard her say the frogs just showed up. Paul saw them and snapped a picture of one at one point a while ago. (I think I’m remembering correctly lol)

What a great way to start my day is seeing Russell trying to sneak some snuggles from Laura. Russell has such a cute face and his personality is perrrfect for him. I fell in love with Russell stealing the camera shots while Laura speaks about that specific flower. His personality is so amazing it just keeps you watching for more to see what he would do.

I have honestly tried to "like" Douglas, bcuz he looks very similar to my sweet Missy; however...Douglas seems to upset Russell😢. Consequently we dont see Russell as much. So glad he got to "steal" some private time with Laura & the camera. ❤❤Russell

Russel knows he outshines any flower. I also chuckle to myself about the asparagus fern. They grow like weeds in my country. At this time of year they are all festooned with frothy white blooms and red berries. Perfect Christmas colors, which will all be gone come Christmas.
And they’re classified as weeds in Australia. Not allowed to sell them as far as I know.
And very invasive!

I bought four mounds of Irish Moss this past spring. They are my favorite purchase this year. They had delicate white flowers bloom all summer. I planted them along the front border coming into our house. They brought me a lot of joy. Fingers crossed they make it through the winter. 🤞

I love the new arrangement! The Hartley is so nice. I’m afraid I would just want to sit in it all the time. Then I would want to sit by the pond, then out in the big flower garden. You are blessed Laura with a beautiful place. I know it has been and is a lot of work, but it is gorgeous.
Fun and relaxing day. I just want sit in the Hartley with a cup of tea! Can we get a tour of what is left in the high tunnel and greenhouse? I’m interested to what and how things are being wintered over. I had some verbena winter in an unheated greenhouse and I have some trees I haven’t planted.

Your video on transplanting the rose was perfect timing for me. I have two roses I have to move because of a change in the landscape and I’ve been questioning how to do it. I think it would be pretty to add poinsettias to the plant tower in the middle of the Hartley. Make a Poinsetta tree, add in a few white lights.
The pond adds so much to your gardens
The centerpiece is lovely. I had to laugh when Russell looked up close at the cyclamen that Laura was pointing out. When we make videos I reckon our pets think we are talking to them and showing things to them, when I make videos my dog seems to think I'm talking to him at times.

Gosh you are so absolutely blessed to have so many beautiful spaces around your property to spend your day and we are lucky we get to experience it with you. Thank you for sharing your journey with us and inspiring us to create our own beautiful spaces. I have added so much onto my gardens because of you. I don't know if you read these comments all the time because you are so busy but if you do please know how much I (and countless others) have learned from you through out the years. I always thought I had a black thumb and wasn't meant to have gardens but you have given me the confidence i needed to keep trying and now I have many beautiful gardens and I couldn't have done it without you.
