Dales High Way - day 3

16th May 2024.
A lovely walk today with some beautiful scenery. Started with a long steady climb all the way up to Weets Top, then dropped down into Malham. I did a short detour to visit Gordale Scar where I watched a brave man climbing up by the waterfall. Malham Cove is so pretty and although I've visited it several times in the past, I never tire of it's beauty. There is a short sharp climb up after the cove, then a more gradual climb for a while. Eventually I dropped down into Settle and walked along the River Ribble to Langcliffe where we were staying for a few days in our touring caravan.

It was so hot when we walked this way, one of our group dropped out at The Angel, Hetton and got a taxi on to the next stop. Glorious walking. Will be back there later in the year. Enjoying the videos Jean. Many thanks.

Tough going when it's hot, I find it saps your strength. Hope you put some photos or video's up when you go again.
