THE BIGGEST TRIKE FEST EVER - More Three Wheelers, More People, More Excitement, More Fun!

- Trike Fest 2024 set a lot of records... record number of people in attendance and in the camp ground... record number of three wheelers... record temperatures... It was a lot. I came in this year on Monday night; the earliest I had ever arrived. I talk about this in the video, how when I first started to go I just couldn't wrap my head around how people come in so early when the events don't start until Thursday... But now I've come to realize that it's the relationships you form with all these people that bring you in earlier and earlier. You need more time to sit and catch up with all these friends who you usually only see once a year. That's why people come in so dang early...
And now, more people came in earlier than ever because Ryan Mallon and Scott Talbert are organizing such an amazing event! Last year was the first year they took the reigns and the set the bar high then... and I think everyone had such an amazing time then that they came back and brought more people! Terrific show... The first events were held on Wednesday evening... when yours truly presided over the slowest wheelie competition, followed by the blindfolded race. These weren't official official events, but just something fun to do. Then we had the Utility Course and the Herk & Jerk. Circle Track racing and the Bounty Hole... The drag racing on Saturday to round things out.
I miss a lot of content in this video because my primary phone that I recorded more than a few things on decided to just purge a massive amount of pictures and videos... so pretty much all of what I captured on it from Trike Fest was lost unless I made a reel/short with it before it purged, or if I happened to send a copy of a pic or video to my wife or mom.... so, kind of a bummer. But, at 58 minutes, this video is long enough! Hope you enjoy!

Really appreciate you doing a ride around on that last day. I was so busy I was never able to check it out once we opened it up. We're already talking about updated camping areas for next year with the park.

Yeah, there is seriously so much. This year we didn't ride as much just because it was so hot and the dust was BAAAAD the later into the week it got (more and more people). But there is seriously something for everybody there!

The red ford in the backgortund of Jerry Jrs Garage with the yellow 350x is a good buddy of mine, it has a 300ex motor on it so he can have electric start, he is puttig the 350x motor in the 300ex chassis lol

best and fastest 3 wheeler ever was the yamaha tri z , i had the red and white and the yellow and black versions , i used to win all the mud bugs drag race with it even againts bigger machines like banshees and so on i was king of the hill lolol..lolol so much fun..
I beg to differ that the Tri-Z was the best or the fastest. In their 1986 article on the 250R, Tecate and Tri-Z, Dirt Wheels Magazine said the Tecate was the fastest and the 250R was the best... They said the Tri-Z was good for newer riders...
@@ThisOldTrike dirt wheels mag was full of shit lolol the 250r was a 4 stoke so it was way far behind the tri z 250 2 stoke , maybe the tecate could have been close it was also a 2 stroke power house , but back in them days yamaha made the most powerful 2 stokes .. and mine was tweaked out by a snow mobile drag racer friend of mine so maybe that helped to lolol..i actually bought the bike from him and he knew how to make power with 2 stroke engines..
