Hi. Nice project! Do you use coolant exhaust pipe before turbocharger? I want swap 1.9 tdi, and my engine specialist tell me, coolant exhaust pipe before turbocharger in not required, because diesel exhaust temperature not critical like a gas engine
Nice to hear that you put a diesel in your boat. Ratio depends on wich engine there was before the swap. Its better to have a v8 ratio with the diesel. But maybe you can do something with the prop
@@gorjanh This engine is 150hp in stock condition. This one is upgraded with a full mechanical fuelpump from a om602, this pump is rebuild with 7.5mm elements by dieselmeken Sweden. The injectors are upgraded to 150bars in stead of 130bars stock. Also the stock turbo is replaced by a bigger one. Lots of potention in these engines. With an even bigger turbo more power than this is possible but the current power is enough for this boat and still reliable.

There is no clutch. What you see is a fixed flexplate. Its oem Volvo penta.

No when the idle is low you can shift without interupt

The manifold is watercooled to reduce heat in engine bay.
Hi iv put a 1.9tdi engine in mine iv an alpha 1 leg do u thing the standard ration in tat box will work or do i have to do anything to my leg

Its a closed circuit. Engine is filled with coolant wich goes trough a heat exchanger with raw lake water.

Do you remap it or is stock 250hp? As I can find the om605 is 150 hp. Are you sure that the engine is om605?
