As a libra ascendant this gives me hope, rahu mahadasha has been rough, I was dreading Jupiter period but it’s only at 5 degrees so keeping fingers crossed it brings relief 🥲

This would then mean that a person born with multiple high degree planets will have a more challenging life than someone born with many low degree planets. It wouldn’t be the WHOLE picture but it would show something. I’ve gone through my charts and organized them top to bottom by adding all of their planets together. The trends definitely indicate my friends with harder lives have higher degree planets and my friends with lower, have less.

Aside from Rahu Ketu at 5, All of my other planets are 14 degrees and higher ! Ughhhh Sucks So Much!!!

@@Glitter9remember she said because Rahu and Ketu move backwards that you flip the degrees. So Rahu/Ketu at 5 degrees is not interpreted as 5 but rather 25 degrees.

I entered Jupiter MahaDasha on November 23, 2021. Natal Jupiter 6 degrees in Libra and Saturn at 1 degree Sagittarius. I just came out of a very challenging 18 years of RAHU Mahadasha. I am reborn in every way. I'm not really sure how to calculate this however, I feel confident nothing could match what I survived in RAHU MahaDasha. I am so grateful and feel so blessed in service to divine love delivering beauty into the world with harp, song and guitar.

I always wondered why i'm not doing well as i expected because i'm running a positive dasha. (Mercury) Mercury is well placed in my chart. Mercury did give me positive results early on but kinda faded away. Also the Transits where not much positive either for the past few years.
But just like Johnson i have Mercury in a High Degree. Infact i have Major Planets like Jupiter, Saturn, Mars and Sun in a High Degree as well. But because of this knowledge i know when my life is gonna have a come back so Thank you very much !
@Rahul Actually, Rahu having s high degree actually means it's got a super low degree since Rahu and Ketu are naturally retrograde.
I have the opposite issue. Venus AK, conjunct Ketu, but they give great results. Especially Ketu.
You may need to check your tithi and panchang to see if any signs are in Dagdha rashi, see ehich yogas are activated, as well as placement in D9. Just sign and degree doesn't seem to be enough of an indication. Also check where your gulika maandi is placed.

@@nrj5514 No, Rahu and Ketu travel backwards only. So if they are in high degree this means they are just entering the sign.
Saturn moves forwards, so the degrees are counted normally, even when retrograde. So if you have a Saturn of 13 degrees that is retrograde, it's 13 only. Special rule is only for Rahu and Ketu

Definitely True Mam,but Partly, plzz take considerations of Ascendant Degree as well, Suppose a planet is in High Karma Degrees but the ascendant is also present in High karma Degree, what happens? The planet is bound to give you something extraordinary, so if any planet in the 5 degrees towards or away from the Ascendant degree Karmic load changes accordingly
Best example: Bill Gates: Venus mahadasha : 1983- 2003; Degrees: 26
Ascendant degrees: 21
Bill gates became billionaire in 1987

Very insightful 🙏 I have 5 out of 9 planets in high degrees, making it a very karmic incarnation, the 2 with medium degrees (Jupiter and Saturn) have their mahadashas at advanced age, and no planets in low degrees - that explains why I have the view of life that I have ....even outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are all in high degrees.

Very interesting. Mercury, Sun, Jupiter and Shani in high degrees. Mercury, Sun and Jupiter are together in the 5th. They are also the 6th, 8th and 12th lords. I'm now in Jupiter dasha. It has not been easy and I've got a few more years to go. The rest of the planets are less than 10 degrees. Rahu and Ketu are at 27 degrees in Libra and Aries. Thank you so much for your teachings

I just have one question regarding this technique; is is in contradiction with another technique that suggests planets whose degree is close to the Ascendant degree are powerful and beneficial to you? For example if my ascendant is at 18 degree Virgo, so does that mean lets day if Saturn was at 19 degrees of Capricorn in the 5th house, would Saturns dasha be "good" or "hard"?

What about retrograde planets then? They move backwards, so do you substract their degrees from 30?
I'm a bit puzzled by my combinations, because the AK, Saturn, has lots to burn (at 27° Libra)
but it is with a tamer burny Libra Ketu (at 20°+, low karma).
And the Ascendant lord, Mercury, is at... 0°+.
So I guess mercuriarily sparkly clean, but boy oh boy was I naughty in the Saturn sector.

My Venus Rahu dasha was at 19 degrees..with Rahu in the first house and Venus in 11th house. I struggled to find myself. I did a lot of mistakes during this period.
Now question if we have retro planet with 28 degree then we have less karma to burn? llike rahu

But mercury is the ascendant lord in his chart, is also well placed. You said before that the asc lord always gives good results. So does the degree affect the outcome more than its placement and sign?
Do we see the degrees from D1 chart?
Does this apply with Dagdha Rashis? My Atmakaraka is Venus in Gemini. Conjunct Ketu within two degrees. However, I was born on Shukla Chaturdashi. This ruins the signification of any planet in Gem, Virgo, Sag, Pisces. So Venus should be ruined.
But Rahu and Ketu grow powerful there. So maybe that's why whenever Venus or Ketu AD'd arrive, my life improves a lot. I'm not sure how this is working sith Dagdha rashis

Hi, Much will depend on the position in the D9. But in general important relationship situation normally develops which is strongly karmic with this placement. and there is a definite karmic link with the father and /or the father’s family during this time . a lot of travel and career will be important. Saturn can still bring success to you because he is very strong in this position
I've been in a Saturn Mahadasha for almost 16 years. Very difficult times. My natal Saturn is around 19 degrees of Sagittarius. So, it's a medium karmic baggage. I don't even wanna imagine what it must be to have a higher karmic baggage...my atmakaraka is Venus. I have Venus in the 26 degrees of Aquarius. In the D60 chart Venus is in cancer.
Oh shoot... My Saturn mahadasha will begin in a few years and it's at 27 degrees. Wish me luck hun

Should we complement the degrees with 30 for retrograde planets like how we do for rahu/ketu?
Its a good question but I don't think so because that is not a consideration when determining the Atmakaraka.
namaskar gina ... what about exaltation of a planet? for example venus is exalted at 27 degrees in pisces, and if i’m not mistaken the mahadasha of an exalted planet in general brings good tides ... so does this rule apply even in this case?
Nishant Goyal yes very much so! Exaltation just gives higher awareness...but 27 degrees is karmas to burn none the less...if you are in this Dasha, or look back at it you will see by comparison..lots more to consider don,t forget..but this rule is very accurate

suraaj leal that’s not the principle here..it’s the up and down of the numbers and your struggle...low degree is very low karmas to burn...when it gets very low, yes it’s like a child or baby....but that’s another judgement..we are adding the total Dasha Bhukti..so low degree is good in that sense ! What it means for your general life experience as Bala is a different thing altogether ...but VERY low 0 like very high 29 is critical degree yes, and needs to be considered absolutely

Does anyone know whether the degree a planet is indicates when the real intensity of that planet gets activated in Dasha? For instance Saturn 15 degree would mean halfway through dasa its really starts to deliver its karmic impact.

I think if you work hard in correcting something it would not have such a bad effect, I dont know if I am correct but I have a high degree Keto with Uranus, that effected me at giving birth to my children, it happened so fast that we were in danger, glad its over, my AC is Aquarius 2 degrees, we survided it with help of good doctors. My saturn is like 00. 07.00. Combusted That's not even 1 degree yet right? And my Mercury is like 1.00.00. Also combusted. I'm running Saturn. - Mercury. But Saturn - Saturn (12/2018- 12/2021) was freaking wild. But I always had help. Lots of help. I felt almost unfair since I thought I was here to struggle! But I almost died in the car accident in the end October. Geesh feels living thru a dream. I too feel like I lived a charmed life and now I'm living in a jungle or something in the middle of nowhere.

drgauravsingal2 as you would for Rahu Ketu...But you should really see the whole transit.. because it may have just turned retrograde! there is a lot to consider. Whereas the nodes are permanently retrograde and therefore it’s more Straightforward. You need to get on the ephemeris of your year of birth and check in there

Is it so? Because as far as I know, what you'll be given is opportunities to deal with pending karma, so that you can lead a better life. Think of it this way - you may have been facing romantic issues all your life and wondering why - Venus Dasha (with Venus AK) is when you face situations that teach you where you were going wrong AKA you paid off the karma.
Following this, you were able to find great relationships and your soul/atman was at peace. Of corse malefics bring more challenging pending karmas. I think the fear here is with the word 'karma'. But the word 'life lesson' might be more apt.
If you believe in reincarnation then this helps you find a better future life. If you're already spiritual, you'll find help anyway. And if you want moksha, you should want AK MD as it'll clear out any pending karmas you have, even from this life.

I’ve experienced the opposite. The heaviest karmas have come in the lowest degrees. I’m in my 5th dasha and the worst was Venus in Gandanta at 1 degree.

That's high karma right? Notice the nakshatra exchange too. Any significance?

I wonder about this too. For example: Ketu in Dhanishta at 0 degrees, Rahu is also at 0 degrees Magha. How will this interplay work? In the case above, Ketu is in Aquarius and Saturn retrograde debilitated but also a Rajayogakaraka.
Ah, entering Moon MD in 10 days. Moon is at 1 degree. Looking for space to breath. So exhausted after Sun MD (6th lord in 12th aspected by Sat).

Oh no.. I‘m Running Mars dasha which is my amatyekaraka conjunct atmakaraka Venus in the 10th.. they’re both over 20 degrees 😪 luckily Rahu comes in a few Years and it’s at 29 degrees... pretty much all my planets are high in degrees besides Saturn... well, what a waste of life 😪😪😪😪😪

I don,t use this in D charts, ..but You could experiment with this and see how it’s going for you the older you are the more you’ll be able to tell.
Many astrologers don’t even use aspects in the D charts! But don’t forget your AK will still beAK in D9..most karmas! One of the reasons I don’t tend to look at degrees in divisional charts because the Karaka s come from the D1
@@astrologyloka Thanks kindly for taking the time to reply. I am currently going through my Saturn Mahadasha Rahu Bhukti and Sun Pratyantar dasha. I've been having extremly hard time since the last 4 years, and seem to be stuck no matter what effort I put in. As per this video, I saw that my Saturn is at 12:33 and Rahu at 19:56 - both medium Karma levels. However, in my D9, Saturn is debiltated in Aries at 22:47(4th house), and hence why I asked the question. Mars is my Atmakarka at 19:45. So, atleast accrording to my birth chart, Saturn should not be having that big of an impact, but it is. So, I'm wondering if my high degree Saturn in Navamsa is what is causing it.
Hmm I think you miscalculated rahu with the Bhukti total. Since rahu is always retrograde you didn’t consider the opposite when doing the total calculations when adding the degree with the Mahadasa.
