I bought a Galaxy Tab S4 in 2019 and it is still perfectly usable. I also play Genshin with low details. Even though it is stuck on Android 10 all the applications work perfectly. I only performed a debloat with ADB to delete some system apps. The screen is perfect and I replaced the s pen (20 €). Now my son uses it to draw and is thrilled. If well maintained, Android tablets last longer than iPads
There are a lot of rumors of MEDIATEK cpu for samsung S10 tablets, what are your thoughts on it? Would you say people who dont necesserily need it right now should wait for s10 range release? Also any other information you or people in comments have?
As always, I enjoyed your objective comparison. I'm already invested in the Apple ecosystem (including an M1 iPad Air 5) and really like how seamlessly all my devices work together, so if I were to upgrade it would be to another Apple device.
Samsung is for casual use and is really good for media consumption, but for creative work, Ipad all the way! I had the Tab S8 and it sucks when I had to use it for work. There was no procreate and Morpholio Trace equivalent in Android ecosytem. The price difference for the iPad Air6 + PencilPro vs Tab S9 is justifiable for me because it generates income for me.
I recently got a new iPad Air, and the main reason I chose it over the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ is its longevity and powerful chip. Even though Samsung offers many features, I believe the iPad’s long-lasting performance is worth the investment, especially for an expensive device. Based on past reviews and my friends’ experiences, I think the iPad will offer good performance and reliability. Additionally, the iPad’s powerful chip promises future compatibility with PC games, making it a versatile choice. Despite Samsung’s impressive features, I opted for the iPad Air because I believe it will better meet my long-term needs.

I want a tablet, but they kind of fell like they are in a weird spot always. cheap ones are not enough, if you want to do more than watch videos, mid tier seem like a bad investment, and the high end feels too expensive. Outside of just wanted to draw (which I do) seems pointless to buy one at all, when a laptop is just way more bang for the buck.
I am considering going for ipad air after years of little use of my Samsung tablet. The reason for this is that i 'm tired of all google services updates and intrusive apps that you cant remove from an android device, not to mention Microsoft annoying intrusive updates at windows devices. Sure, apple nickle dime you more than disney world to its guests and you get more for your money with Samsung, but no privacy at all if you' re not tech expert. By default, every file is saved on a google app instead of your hd, and from the last update on android and google apps, google drive is by default saving your files as public, you have to open config and turn to private each file. Im willing to pay the apple super charge to not have to deal with this latest updates to Android.
Android apps are not just optimised or in some cases available. However, it is a good thing apple has competition. It won't be long to catch up in even these fields
Have you had a tablet before and what do you plan on doing? Because the value is in getting the most use out of your device. I have the iPad 8th gen and just got the S9+. I will keep the iPad to use Affinity programs and have something to FaceTime with my iPhone family or have them air drop a ton of photos. I also think Apple's Scribble might be better than Samsung's handwriting to text...still testing that. I like the Samsung stylus better...File management is so much easier for me on android instead of apple.
I have to use it for at least six years, so should I get the Oneplus 12 (SD Gen 3) and Oneplus Pad 2 or the Samsung S9+ and S24+ (Exy 2400)? Since I am a student and must keep all of my notes from the start of my academic career to the finish, is (one-plus pad 2) 256GB sufficient?
Don’t waste your time with Android tablets if you need to open two Word documents next to each other. iPad can do this for many years. Android can not, not even Dex from Samsung. Any time you want to open another document the first one will get closed on Android.
Don’t care about the oled or 120 whatever display. If I wanted a oled tablet I would just put the money in and get a iPad Pro… Performance vs Show-off I pick the performer. I love Apple….

I am a little more in favor of an android over and ios cause i like downloading apks. The ipad is currently 300 on amazon and the fe is 412. Open to other recommendation. Help is appreciated 🙏.
TL;DR If you want tablet strictly for note taking for your job then both tablets will do, actually. Despite of price both will pay off. If you want tablet to fiddle with while taking dump or eating - both are too expensive for that. If you don't know why you want a tablet, but still want it - get Samsung Tab 9 FE, 'cause it's cheaper and has wider range of freedom because of Android. As for OP - get your deserved dislike for clickbait article. I told youtube not to recommend your channel (and other clickbaiters as well). Also your review doesn't have eligible depth and is kinda worthless since you can google specs and compare them. I got iPad Air 5 (M1) with Pencil 2 just for note taking at work after using 10''' e-ink reader for 5 years. It does its job pretty well. M1 chip is really fast and will age like fine wine. As for real cons. I mean REAL (not 60 vs 120 hz nonsense), iPad without cellular will not give you your geolocation. Also filesystem is trash and it's easier to get files from your PC via smb than using cable. Multitasking - i tried connecting iPad to external 4K monitor via Lenovo dock to see how much it can fit - i hate that if you use Stage Manager windows have limited size. Samsung DEX looks promising here.
Apple fan - now 60hz next year 120hz but pay 100 dollars more for new feature. apple fan will fill proud that apple innovate & don't mind coz it's coming from apple.
Do you guys have a problem about touch sensitivity when apply protective film in iPad Air ? If you have a Samung phone, get the Samsung tablet unless you don't often send files between your devices. I got an iPad while having a Samsung phone and a Windows PC and trust me that was a horrible experience. I sold my iPad yesterday and I'm switching to the S9 FE just for the sake of connectivity and OS. It's mostly about which system do you prefer, something very simple and flat like iPadOS, or something that let's you customize nearly everything like Android. If you're able to, go to some local store and test both devices for a bit. Spen and Apple Pencil are also very different so you'd like to test that too (you can get the wacom one pen for Samsung tho, it gives real desktop experience). It also comes down to programs you want to use, if you just want to take notes and you use Clip Studio for art, get the Samsung (if you do, I gotta mention that getting CSP from Galaxy Store gives you 6 months long free trial), if you want to use Procreate, Adobe or Affinity you have no choice but to go with the iPad. Also, if you want to watch videos Samsung has better screen aspect ratio, watching videos on the iPad isn't great. I also have a feelling the iPad will have longer update support as well. I guess that's all you need to know to make that choice. Hope that helps! :)

As a user of both the Tab S9 and iPad Pro M4, the aspect ratio feels a lot nicer on the iPad for me
Thanks so much for contributing to the community. Can you share a little about what you do on each (since you have the option of choosing whenever you want)?
@@TechGearTalk I do pretty much everything on them aside from complicated work stuff I usually do on a Macbook but ever since I got the the iPad Pro M4, I’ve been using the Tab S9 a lot less. One thing I love about Android is the fact that you can play multiple sound on it, I can watch the game while watching TH-cam on the Tab S9, something I can’t do on any iPad
iPad has longer OS support and has better CPU so I choose iPad. If Samsung had longer OS support or the new Snapdragon X Elite chip then yeah I would choose Samsung's tablet over iPad.
I’m waiting for the S10 series, then I trade in my 2020 iPad Air 👍🏻
When is the s10 series expected to be launched?
@Nemesis_678 from what most expect around October-November. I'm in no hurry since I already got a tablet 😁
@@_TrueDesire_your 2020 iPad fine my iPad Pro from 2015 I been reeking for upgrade for a s10 plus
Hi, can you elaborate how iPad is helping monetarily?
@medyocrity Hi, can you please elaborate how iPad is helping monetarily?
I wish we had both choices from the beginning in one tablet.
You have to be kidding. I sold my iPad because it was a disaster for managing files. So I feel like you don't even use them, that's why you say that.
@@reviewplay1157 kidding for telling ipad is good for performance and samsung on features you might be high on something, also fyi I am a phd student at IIT and it's all about notes , research papers and files and idk about you but I have it all managed up ,samsung is better in file management true but not a concern for me as long as I am able to maintain
@@reviewplay1157
What does it mean by managing file ??
I want a tablet, but they kind of fell like they are in a weird spot always. cheap ones are not enough, if you want to do more than watch videos, mid tier seem like a bad investment, and the high end feels too expensive. Outside of just wanted to draw (which I do) seems pointless to buy one at all, when a laptop is just way more bang for the buck.
Ya that's why professionals either build pc or they buy laptops
Files arent public in google. What shit info is this.
Android apps are not just optimised or in some cases available. However, it is a good thing apple has competition. It won't be long to catch up in even these fields
So basically ipad air 6 is just ipad air 5 with a new processor. 😂
Hii i'm from india
Which one should be considered for the same price ipad air M2 or samsung tab s 9 plus
Hi im confused which tablet to buy either the ipad 10 or tab s9 pls compare so i will know the better value
Which website you use to download those beautiful wallpapers?
I have to use it for at least six years, so should I get the Oneplus 12 (SD Gen 3) and Oneplus Pad 2 or the Samsung S9+ and S24+ (Exy 2400)? Since I am a student and must keep all of my notes from the start of my academic career to the finish, is (one-plus pad 2) 256GB sufficient?
Don’t waste your time with Android tablets if you need to open two Word documents next to each other. iPad can do this for many years. Android can not, not even Dex from Samsung. Any time you want to open another document the first one will get closed on Android.
would the iPad Air 6 be powerful enough to, lets say, in a pinch, color grade on the go with Davinci Resolve? like.. could it handle 10-bit footage
Hi very nice review 👍
But , from did yo get these wallpapers 0:04
May be Samsung tab has more features but when it comes to long lasting for years ahead then no one can beat apple😊
The Apps are way better in iPad but Samsung has a better feature. Can we get both instead?
I really enjoy your information so much. Thank you.
One plus pad 2 vs S9 FE+ which is better?
Don’t care about the oled or 120 whatever display. If I wanted a oled tablet I would just put the money in and get a iPad Pro… Performance vs Show-off I pick the performer. I love Apple….
Display is big part of tablet and s9 8 gen 2 is pretty fast enough.
Show off u mean ipad?
Overal ipad wins in terms of creativity apps, so it all depends on why you need a tablet, for me im start to see why i should switch to ipad
Hi, i am currently looking for a tablet prefer under $400 for mainly watching shows and browsing . I am currently undecided between the ipad 10.9 10th generation (2022) or the samsung galaxy s9 fe. I currently have the ipad air 2 which i have had for 9 years but it’s almost damaged completel. Life span of the device is important and screen viewing qualit. I am a little more in favor of an android over and ios cause i like downloading apks.
The ipad is currently 300 on amazon and the fe is 412. Open to other recommendation. Help is appreciated 🙏.
if youre a student taking notes then get the s9 fe, otherwise weigh the other features to your personal preference
Buy s8 plus or s7 plus since its cheap plus has amoled display.
I'm thrifty. So I'll just go with the cheapest one.
Please make an indepth review on oneplus pad 2 and samsung s9 and s9 fe comparison. Greatly appreciated
For studies is s9 enough or s9+ but + seems too big?
apple has far better customer service thats all i care about
which is better for making notes on?
TL;DR
If you want tablet strictly for note taking for your job then both tablets will do, actually.
I have an iPad Air 2 (2015), Apple no longer provides software updates in 2014.
I have the same device - i still use it. I think you mean in 2024 - 9 years later. Thank you for being part of the channel!
Apple fan - now 60hz next year 120hz but pay 100 dollars more for new feature. apple fan will fill proud that apple innovate & don't mind coz it's coming from apple.

Do you guys have a problem about touch sensitivity when apply protective film in iPad Air ?
I already return 5 unit of it but the problem still the same and I already try with both of temper glass and scratch prof film
but the problem still occur.
and the touch sensitive will be better when i plug my charger and touch it the sensitivity will back to normal.
Magic Keyboard is amazing! I have the first gen - one day will upgrade (cuz why not??) also I did not know it came in white!
It probably cost an extra $5 for apple to make the display 120hz but wont so you consider buying their pro model

Hey i have samsung phone watch ear buds, i wanna buy tablet i am getting s9 in $509 and i pad air m2 in $662 with apple pencil pro which should i choose (11inch both)
If you have a Samung phone, get the Samsung tablet unless you don't often send files between your devices. :)
@@Julia-hl7dd Hey I have a Samsung S7, an android phone and a windows laptop but I've never figured out how to transfer files between them. Can you help me out with it? Imagine I had to transfer a file from my windows laptop to my samsung tab and vice-versa, how do I do it?
@@cheeseroll2398 you need to connect them via bluetooth and share files that way :). It's the fastest possible way. (In order to do that, you need to turn on bluetooth on your tab, then go to Windows settings, then click on devices tab and click on "Add bluetooth device" and then in the pop-up click "Bluetooth". Then you wait till ur tab S7 pops up, click on it and click "Pair" on both devices. To tranfer files, you first need to click on that little arrow on your Windows taskbar, you should see the Bluetooth icon there, click on it and choose "Send files" (after clicking that you choose tbe device and the files you wanna send and then you need to click "Accept" on your tab) or "Receive files"(after clicking that, go back to your tab and click the Share icon on the file you wanna send, click Bluetooth and choose the device). You may wanna look up some tutorials on TH-cam). Samsung also has that feature called quick share that works even faster than bluetooth between galaxy devices. Microsoft also has that app called "Link to Windows" that let's you access your android device directly on your pc when they are in the same Wi-Fi network (for example you can reply to messages, access gallery and mirror ur device screen on ur laptop etc.). Hope I helped :)
@@cheeseroll2398 I wrote a reply already but yt decided to delete it, you will need to connect your devices via Bluetooth for quick file transfer. In order to do that you will need to open your Windows settings, go to "Devices" tab and click on "Add Bluetooth device" and in the pop-up click "Bluetooth". You may wanna look up some video tutorials if my instructions aren't clear enough. Microsoft also has the app called "Link to Windows" that allows you to access your messeges, gallery, and notifications from your phone directly on the PC when they are in the same Wi-Fi network. Stop normalizing that ipads have a better set of apps. I had the M1 ipad pro and Xiaomi Pad 5.. the ipad didn't have WhatsApp nor proper Instagram. Many useful open source apps that I use only works on android. And.. I dual boot windows on arm letting me use propped chrome and ms 365 on my pad 5 which has a less powerful processor. I sold my ipad because even that I had the pro, nothing pro I could do on it..... The apps choice on android tablets is better and they are optimized to large screens better than ipados.
How do you get these wallpapers ?
If anyone has an Ipad air I want to ask is the 60hz feel smooth for you? epically when writing or reading pdf files
I don't think 60hz is acceptable in 2024 when most android phones and tablets come with 90hz or even 120hz for just 150-200$
but I read some people saying 60hz on ios is better than android, so is that true?
Man, we're in some strange age when people would brag or complain about 60 vs 120 hz. I mean, yes, you clearly can see the difference. But as long as tablet does its job (notetaking) you stop noticing.
