Narc walking around naked is definitely about sexual dominance and control, also lack of respect for you. Its unexoectedly introducing and forcing a sexual enviroment on you without your consent. My ex boyfriend narc used to turn up at my house to visit, ask me to put the kettle on, then without any discussion, undress and lay naked on my sofa, so that when i came out of the kitchen I'd be unexpectedly confronted by him naked on my sofa. It was a form of sexual coercion which I didnt like, as we were supposed to be going out somewhere. It made me feel like there was an obligation to engage in sex there and then! That ..that was all he'd come round for ultimately. I got sick of it happening, and he'd undress really quietly so it was always an unexpectedly shock to suddenly be confronted by him naked. Its a lack of respect.

Romybrooks It should be consensual though, not just sprung on someone. Just because you love someone doesn't give you the right to subject them to your nudity at any given moment. Its about personal boundaries.
It's not about nudity or being comfortable in one's body. Narcissists are inappropriate about it. They relish in showing off and exposing themselves to others, even to children. They love to get attention and cause a reaction.

Didn’t even have this great physique that “might” explain some vanity issue. No, it was a more creepy, insidious, motivation behind it.
Not weird at all . Females are comfortable with each other. They have pj parties and sleep overs together . Same bed sometimes. They are child like. Not weird though. It’s all about understanding evolutionary psychobiology. Women are not mad . They are different to men. All that needs to happen in 2024, is that the girls find tru value in themselves. When my sister and I were young, we were walking past a car that had been pulled over to the side of the road. The occupant was pleasuring himself; which shocked and frightened both of us. It was considered illegal. We didn't have phones, though. By the time we reached a pay phone, he was long gone and we had talked ourselves out of reporting the disgusting details. My ex father-in-law exposed himself to his wife's sister and sexually assaulted my sister at my wedding. I didn't learn about it until years later.😢 My ex would use the toilet 💩 while I was bathing, despite other bathrooms being available in our house. He was addicted to pornography, too. That's why he's my ex. I'm happily married for 20 years, now. Whew! It's possible for narcissistic abuse to be a thing of the past; enforce your boundaries. ❤🙏

Narcissists emotional development has been arrested and compromised (by early trauma etc etc, but who isn't?) and they are trapped as kids or toddlers in adult bodies, in Nature this basically makes for a biological monster. In this sense they are pathological. Let's face it: the same behaviour from a kid would be normal and accepted and can hurt but somehow it does not hurt because the the nature of the relationship and looks. The problem and torment is never outside but always within, and there are never real "problems" in life, there are just different kind of "handlings", unless we want to feel and become "victims". The narcissists are not the problem, they problem is why one is attracted and attaches and trauma bonds to them in such a way. Cannot fix anything outside of us, only inside, unless we want to play the victim, staying more stuck. The narcissist is a mirror unfortunately, one cannot blame the mirror, even if in the mirror everything is reversed, and one does not recognise oneself, because in the mirror the left is right and the right is left. The narcissist is a stepping stone, cannot blame the stone if we stumble over it. There are not victims and no blames, just new awareness and consciousness and new "Know thyself" thanks to them. Otherwise it is always a loop, small or large, but a loop and return of the same.
They also stalk you spread malignant lies about you and bully you sometimes even getting violent. Making the narcissist culpable is difficult enough without idiots like you placing blame on the victims of their unwarranted toxicity.

My toxic ex and his momma. Once we were going through problems and he moved back in with his mother. I came over to speak with him mind you we were married. His mom came to the door in a see through nightgown I seen her big ole black areolas. She slammed her door in my face and came back with a robe on. These are just a few , all captioned: “LOOK AT ME!” 🤢🤢🤮 I confronted him even if I wasn’t supposed to have been in his phone I didn’t give a damn!
I go to a nude beach in the summer and I'm for sure not a narcissist... I'm more of a free spirited hippie nature lover... I just love the feeling of sun all over my body, the freedom of swimming without wet clothes stuck to my body and just being one with nature... And I never have any ugly tan lines... This is the first time I have seen or heard of anyone mention this. 3.5 years post narcissist and I’m honestly still dealing with the sexual trauma of that relationship. Not the walk around naked part. But the “weird sexual behaviour” my experience is way deeper than walking around naked! Wish the deeper aspects were more talked about.

My ex used to walk outside on sexy shorts when neighbors were outside but although I knew what she was doing I notice she was acting that way to make me uncomfortable but I just acted normal and didnt say a word. One thing for sure if you dont start a conversation they dont have anything to say. If we stop conversing the house turn into a graveyard.
That is a good way to put it. "The house turns into a graveyard." I experienced this with most of the narcissists that I have known in my life. Sister, husband, the occasional narc friend. Sometimes they even act negatively when you try to have an interesting or just even casual conversation so they can shut it down, and they have no conversation to offer, just the graveyard experience.

You don't have much of a conscience so to speak or empathy for what they've done but they do have anger that they express outwards. Outwardly the narcissist has no shame whatsoever. Excellent video, my husband and I had a brief stay at his mothers house and one day she came down into the kitchen with no underwear on and her robe was open and I was like , Patricia you have no underwear on and I was shocked . She looked and us and said this is my house and I can do whatever I want I was so embarrassed I made my husband call his brother and he called and spoke to her and she later apologized , this woman has caused major trauma for me as I have never experienced such strange bizarre behavior, just a little foot note this woman My mother in law came to my wedding we payed for her flight my husband later told me that she asked him for money to buy us a wedding gift because she apparently had none.. she is a cruel and crazy person

The title of this video jumped out at me because my narc just started doing this. We have been married for almost 20 years. It's been a loveless marriage mostly ( loveless on his part) . I loved him and actually thought that that if I showed him enough love that he would love me and we could have a good marriage. But there was No real communication about anything. When I found these videos on TH-cam it felt like I wasn't alone and I wasn't crazy. In order to save my sanity I went totally gray rock on him about a year ago. This marriage was sexless also. And now he has started walking around naked. A 60 year old man should not be walking around naked because it's really replusive and actually makes me want to throw up. We he does it I don't show any kind of reaction at all. It's very interesting to know that this is a narc thing.
Oh and right after I left the family home, he put a blanket on the bed that had pictures of naked women tied up with red rope in sexual bondage positions. Our 12 year old daughter was not used to my not being there and she missed me so he let her sleep in his room. In his bed with the blanket on there. Disgusting. No shame. Not one ounce of shame.

OMG! I went through this and couldn't understand why he was like this. My husband was alot older and we have an 8 year old daughter so was so uncomfortable with that behaviour. The more I pointed it out the more he continued. I had to flee the house to protect her but I'm struggling to get away because of parental rights. Most legal persons don't understand why this behaviour is traumatic to my child. 😢

He was used to his mother walking around naked in their home even when he was a teen. And when I was with his family after he and I were married in the RV camper his mom was up and about naked. And she was 300 plus lbs or so. Gross.
I feel like i was a narcissist when i was like 17. I started smoking weed and when I would get really high (almost too high..... like scary high) i would reflect and i would change my mind about a lot of things. Now i cringe about a lot of stuff I used to do and think.

Man this thing with nudity should always be considered in the text of culture as well. You know in south countries, where there is probably sea as well we see each other naked from childhood and in general we show lots of skin due to extreme heat. People are more loose with nudity

Well, where I live most of the gyms have showers without doors. So everybody walks around, dry the hair etc all naked. Not me, because i feel embarrassed and people think I have problems because of that. I know a lot of people who walk around the house naked and they are not narcissists.

OMG I’ve identified my mother to be a narcissist just a few years ago. I never thought about it but she walked around naked ALL the time! In front of anyone. She’s do it in front of my son, as a child and even as an adult. I found it to be so odd and distasteful. I’d literally have to tell her constantly about it as it caused us embarrassment. He walks naked around his 16 yr old, 9 year old and 5 year old daughters. I asked him to put shorts on or at least a towel for God sakes. Interesting! I never looked at it that way, because I love going to the sauna and always think of nakedness as a type of vulnerability. On the other hand I find farthing in public very narcissistic 😅 In a way I think it is funny, but also very disturbing. I find that uncomfortable.
My thing is he was good at sex at the beginning during the love bombing stage. Now granted I enjoy being naked and walking around naked in my own home , alone or within safety area of my home. I am not randomly walking around the house naked and I have guest or people over. I am not walking around naked at somebody else's house or around people without their consent. Now, he did not walk around naked per say, but he would randomly pull his Peen out and just start playing with it and it would be at the moment random and downright inappropriate times. Like here I am working from home doing work and here he is in the background yanking on Peter Peen. LMAO. Just wild at times. Another thing I notice is instead of having a clean up rag or towel he would use random articles of clothing to wipe up his Peen explosions. Like dude you are using random t-shirts, underwear, hoodies, etc when you could simply get a washcloth or clean up rag and use. Now again I am not a licensed mental health professional so in reality I cannot say he was a narcissist but he did display similar behaviors.
oh this is definitely a topic. my ex would always walk around naked and never wear a shirt, he would wear his button up shirts half unbuttoned like he was a 90s R&B star.. it was cringy and it was weird and I never understood it outside of thinking he was just very vain… he had a very nice body so I didn’t mind seeing him naked but his behavior was abnormal and definitely shameless when he should have had some healthy shame in all the nakedness.
My last girlfriend would walk around the house naked early in our relationship. She’d started doing it when her daughter wasn’t there. The first time she entered the common area when her 11 year old daughter was out there, was an awful feeling. Turns out she and her daughter did it all their lives together (kinda worrisome, how the will turn out later in life. Controlling, over dominant exhibitionist?) The girlfriend even told me I was allowed to do the same with them, and the daughter wouldn’t mind. No, but thanks.
I used to walk around naked because I was a binge alcoholic. It wasn’t like I was proud of my body or anything. I mean, I have no boobs , and it’s not like I have goddesses body. I wasn’t showing off and did not comprehend that my boyfriend just might have been interested. It ended in the action nearly every time. I don’t know why I would get naked. I am going to research this phenomenon.

I walked around naked in front of my daughter and now ex I'm completely the opposite of a narcissist. There's no shame in it I've just come out of an abusive relationship of 13 yrs and he was against nudity.

I always wondered why at work. But yeah she was very sexual unless it came down to us. In the beginning it was ALL the time. Then she had to go to her friends at 11 at night and called me crying at 3 in the morning . She also took our 1 year old. Just odd. I didn’t agree with her going but she disrespected and went anyways. I told her I want my key back and I want you OUT of my house. She said okay no problem packed and left. Haven’t heard from her and we’re going on 3 1/2 months. I caught her cheating and talking to other men so that’s why I let her go. She went completely ghost even though we share a baby

My narcissist ex never wore underwear. I had to tell her to wear underwear when we went out and she was wearing a dress. We went to a wedding once and her and her sister were on the dance floor dancing and pulling each other's dresses up and everyone could see there coochies. Very embarassing.

I am an aware "High cognitive functioning Narcissist" ... I know that I am a Narcissist and I only see people as "Inanimate objects" to use and throw onto the scrap heap when I am finished or bored with them. Yes, I cheated on my previous girlfriend many times and then discarded her when I got sick of her... I told her we would "Stay friends" is easier to "Hoover" in the future when I need her Narcissistic supply again. I know what I am doing is manipulative and exploitative... But I simply don't care. We are a lot more common than you would imagine... I was caused by trauma in the "Development years" and a genetic predisposition towards narcissism.. The vast majority of narcissists do not know they are Narcissists... I know... But I simply don't care. I have no emotional empathy... I do however have "Cognitive" empathy ... I am very good at showing facial "Expressions" ... But the reality is I am devoid of any emotional empathy.

Narc walking around naked is definitely about sexual dominance and control, also lack of respect for you. Its unexoectedly introducing and forcing a sexual enviroment on you without your consent. My ex boyfriend narc used to turn up at my house to visit, ask me to put the kettle on, then without any discussion, undress and lay naked on my sofa, so that when i came out of the kitchen I'd be unexpectedly confronted by him naked on my sofa. It was a form of sexual coercion which I didnt like, as we were supposed to be going out somewhere. It made me feel like there was an obligation to engage in sex there and then! That ..that was all he'd come round for ultimately. I got sick of it happening, and he'd undress really quietly so it was always an unexpectedly shock to suddenly be confronted by him naked. Its a lack of respect.

When my sister and I were young, we were walking past a car that had been pulled over to the side of the road. The occupant was pleasuring himself; which shocked and frightened both of us. It was considered illegal. We didn't have phones, though. By the time we reached a pay phone, he was long gone and we had talked ourselves out of reporting the disgusting details. My ex father-in-law exposed himself to his wife's sister and sexually assaulted my sister at my wedding. I didn't learn about it until years later.😢 My ex would use the toilet 💩 while I was bathing, despite other bathrooms being available in our house. He was addicted to pornography, too. Narcissists emotional development has been arrested and compromised (by early trauma etc etc, but who isn't?) and they are trapped as kids or toddlers in adult bodies, in Nature this basically makes for a biological monster. In this sense they are pathological. Let's face it: the same behaviour from a kid would be normal and accepted and can hurt but somehow it does not hurt because the the nature of the relationship and looks.
The problem and torment is never outside but always within, and there are never real "problems" in life, there are just different kind of "handlings", unless we want to feel and become "victims".
The narcissists are not the problem, they problem is why one is attracted and attaches and trauma bonds to them in such a way.
Cannot fix anything outside of us, only inside, unless we want to play the victim, staying more stuck.
The narcissist is a mirror unfortunately, one cannot blame the mirror, even if in the mirror everything is reversed, and one does not recognise oneself, because in the mirror the left is right and the right is left.

The title of this video jumped out at me because my narc just started doing this. We have been married for almost 20 years. It's been a loveless marriage mostly ( loveless on his part) . I loved him and actually thought that that if I showed him enough love that he would love me and we could have a good marriage. But there was No real communication about anything. OMG! I went through this and couldn't understand why he was like this. My husband was alot older and we have an 8 year old daughter so was so uncomfortable with that behaviour. The more I pointed it out the more he continued. I had to flee the house to protect her but I'm struggling to get away because of parental rights. Man this thing with nudity should always be considered in the text of culture as well. You know in south countries, where there is probably sea as well we see each other naked from childhood and in general we show lots of skin due to extreme heat. People are more loose with nudity

In a way I think it is funny, but also very disturbing. I find that uncomfortable.
My thing is he was good at sex at the beginning during the love bombing stage. Now granted I enjoy being naked and walking around naked in my own home , alone or within safety area of my home. I am not randomly walking around the house naked and I have guest or people over. I am not walking around naked at somebody else's house or around people without their consent. Now, he did not walk around naked per say, but he would randomly pull his Peen out and just start playing with it and it would be at the moment random and downright inappropriate times. Like here I am working from home doing work and here he is in the background yanking on Peter Peen. LMAO. Just wild at times. Another thing I notice is instead of having a clean up rag or towel he would use random articles of clothing to wipe up his Peen explosions. Like dude you are using random t-shirts, underwear, hoodies, etc when you could simply get a washcloth or clean up rag and use. Now again I am not a licensed mental health professional so in reality I cannot say he was a narcissist but he did display similar behaviors.

oh this is definitely a topic. my ex would always walk around naked and never wear a shirt, he would wear his button up shirts half unbuttoned like he was a 90s R&B star.. it was cringy and it was weird and I never understood it outside of thinking he was just very vain… he had a very nice body so I didn’t mind seeing him naked but his behavior was abnormal and definitely shameless when he should have had some healthy shame in all the nakedness.
My last girlfriend would walk around the house naked early in our relationship. She’d started doing it when her daughter wasn’t there. The first time she entered the common area when her 11 year old daughter was out there, was an awful feeling. Turns out she and her daughter did it all their lives together (kinda worrisome, how the will turn out later in life. Controlling, over dominant exhibitionist?) The girlfriend even told me I was allowed to do the same with them, and the daughter wouldn’t mind. No, but thanks.

I used to walk around naked because I was a binge alcoholic. It wasn’t like I was proud of my body or anything. I mean, I have no boobs , and it’s not like I have goddesses body. I wasn’t showing off and did not comprehend that my boyfriend just might have been interested. It ended in the action nearly every time. I don’t know why I would get naked. I am going to research this phenomenon.
That would have been a bonus in my case.

This sounds like S&M to me when you refer to parental realionships with another adult from my studies. I know some narcs may do that but not all.

I walked around naked in front of my daughter and now ex I'm completely the opposite of a narcissist. There's no shame in it I've just come out of an abusive relationship of 13 yrs and he was against nudity.

Narcissistic Traits…We all have some…But NPD is a completely different animal. It’s about the intent. Wanting to exert dominance, get all eyes on you, intentional change peoples moods just by walking in a room w/ inappropriate or mixed company for the sole purpose of garnering attn.

Mine used to walk around naked all the time as well. Whether nude or panties bra. I never asked her for any of this but she would touch herself at work and in the bathrooms take naughty photos. I always wondered why at work. But yeah she was very sexual unless it came down to us. In the beginning it was ALL the time. Then she had to go to her friends at 11 at night and called me crying at 3 in the morning . She also took our 1 year old. Just odd. I didn’t agree with her going but she disrespected and went anyways. I told her I want my key back and I want you OUT of my house. She said okay no problem packed and left. Haven’t heard from her and we’re going on 3 1/2 months. I caught her cheating and talking to other men so that’s why I let her go. She went completely ghost even though we share a baby

My narcissist ex never wore underwear. I had to tell her to wear underwear when we went out and she was wearing a dress. We went to a wedding once and her and her sister were on the dance floor dancing and pulling each other's dresses up and everyone could see there coochies. Very embarassing.

I am an aware "High cognitive functioning Narcissist" ... I know that I am a Narcissist and I only see people as "Inanimate objects" to use and throw onto the scrap heap when I am finished or bored with them. Yes, I cheated on my previous girlfriend many times and then discarded her when I got sick of her... I told her we would "Stay friends" is easier to "Hoover" in the future when I need her Narcissistic supply again.
I know what I am doing is manipulative and exploitative... But I simply don't care.
We are a lot more common than you would imagine... I was caused by trauma in the "Development years" and a genetic predisposition towards narcissism.. The vast majority of narcissists do not know they are Narcissists... I know... But I simply don't care. I have no emotional empathy... I do however have "Cognitive" empathy ... I am very good at showing facial "Expressions" ... But the reality is I am devoid of any emotional empathy.
