@@heathersomerville6801 It’s been a long time since I saw a lady out the front of a military band in the UK. Last time I personally remember was over 30 years ago with the Womans Royal Army Corp band. I was a Bugle Major, later Drum Major in the Army and I really can’t remember another lady since. She has brought her own unique and personal style whilst still adhering to the Drill Pamphlet regulations, just as every good Drummie should! All the best to her! Ian
I believe the RAF Regiments drill always seems to be a bit 'crisper' but they really ought to get it right ,the two escorts for the officer have again got their rifles on the wrong shoulders, they are too far in front of the rest of the guard and I think the music drowns out the words of command from the warrant officer. This doesn't spoil the quality of the video, well done again.
Love it when the Royal Marines, RAF or visiting regiments provide the music for the guard change. The tone always seems so different from the guards.

You can definitely tell the instrumentation is better in this band than the guards bands

But as usual their playing, drill and turnout is immaculate.

RAF march to a five star London hotel. There, fixed the title for you.

The part about them being too in-front, i believe that is how it is meant to be in the RAF
