The marching from the last group was a bit iffy, but there again they are not Foot Guards. Everyone has a trade in the RAF, so good effort. No doubt lots of rehearsals to get it all correct. Loved the RAF Pipes and Drums....
The ones with no RAF Regiment mudguards on their shoulders and very rarely perform drill or parades . As ex RAF Regiment I have to say they put in a good effort and can be forgiven on errors.
Couple of missed steps in the last 'Change Arms' (which is bloody difficult) but dammit they were all giving smart drill especially as the last squads had no band. Very smart and obviously very proud as they should be. Well done the Crabs. Per Ardua Ad Astra
The first march is called "RAF100" composed by Pipe Major Ian Hughes (RAF Central Scotland Pipes & Drums) and the second is called "The CAS's Quickstep" composed by Pipe Major Finlay MacGhee (RAF Waddington Pipes & Drums).
Why dont soldiers wear putties it was far smarter wearing combats on boats instead of in them is untidy they could learn from china who are very smart in combat imagine 200 million coming at you oh boy save a bullet for yourself.
15 years served and many ceremonial parades including the Queen and Sultan of Oman plus a few remembrance parades and a few military funerals, always felt 100% smart.
May God bless all whom serve.🇬🇧🌺🇮🇪
