If you ever get to head studs or something you might want to think about power driven diesels ported heads they make for them, more power and I think helps with drive pressure to
Traction bars will help with some of the axle wrap, getting more power to the ground as well. However a built trans will help out those numbers the most. Careful if you’re bagging on it right after a tune. The trans takes a bit to learn. Easiest way to smoke it is after it’s been tuned without relearning
Great videos man, when it comes time and if the budget allows I say go with the KDD aluminum ported heads. I plan on running them when I do my truck but in the meantime I’d love to see some content/data on how they perform
5.04 second 0-60 is pretty quick! I think a built transmission is in your future! If you don't already have a tune on the FICM, that would help as well!
@@jo-qp7mz Every 6L should have a FICM tune. It's what gives you the throttle response most people are asking for. The higher-voltage FICMs are fine, but typically if they fail they fail on the logic side more often than not, so you can't just replace the power supply side.
To put in perspective you did a 1.85 60ft on a bare street in my street/strip 5.3 ls camaro best I have done is a 1.83 on the street for 60ft and I have done a 7.89 on no prep in the 1/8 and a 4.05 all on the street on a no prep track a little quicker. I wanna see you run that truck to the 1/8 mile out of curiosity. Definitely needs a built trans you’ll pick up a lotttt there prolly go from a 5.05 to a 4.7ish and look into a little bit bigger converter to help spool and launch harder loving the 6.0 videos!
I've owned a 6.0 for a year and it's been pretty good. I'm the third owner. The original owner owned it for 19 years but the guy that I bought it off his mechanic messed up all kinds stuff. I've been fixing it. Mechanic just throwing money at caused a lot of issues. An skip on cheap parts cause issues. I bought it for $4,000 fix it for 300 bucks. But I'm slowly going through it going everything putting it back to OEM. Most of the problems with trucks are shit mechanics taking advantage of owners. I am not a mechanic by any means I just work on my own vehicles.
Sounds like the trans is flaring up shifting into 3rd she’s definitely gonna need a trans and with a 1.85 60ft that’s better than some people’s streetcars
sooo when we gonna lower it and put a cowl hood on it??? Lmao I know money don’t grow on trees, but I do think that would make this truck looks so pretty
Awesome bro lol I usually just hire the shop much quicker to do the install and they got all the tools already there I also know it’s done right if I have them do it.
@@powerstrokecentral yeah that was a huge job, I wouldn’t have wanted to do it myself. I got you tho if you need anything. Love the truck, I may get a 6.0 in the future as a project truck LOL

It is sort of better because we get to see what each upgrade adds to it at a time, versus doing a bunch at once and not knowing how well “xyz” part affected performance. It also gives him more video content this way. I say he’s doing fine
The 6.0 has come a long way congrats brother.
Thanks bro
jeez this truck just keeps getting better and better that 4x4 launch is insane
Yeah dude its nuts just wait for the hpop
I'm loving this series! Your 6.0 looks fun to drive. That massive torque really throws you back in your seat.
6.0 hands down the best sounding diesel
I agree with ya on that one
Best sounding pickup diesel*
6.7 cummins sound pretty nice too
But the old 2 stroke detroits sound amazing
Put a built trans in it, it’ll be a different truck.
Im working on that
I’d recommend a warren diesel transmission got the full billet 4r100 on my 7.3 and love it but they are known for their 5r100.

Great video! Just wanted to clarify ODawg intake isn’t made by KC turbo. You purchased it from KC turbo….
Thing is a ripper, glad to see you got the dragy too
Awesome dude keep it up. Your videos are the reason I haven’t thought about selling mine. They have a lot of potential.

Funny how no one talking shit on it 😂 there good trucks take care of emmm

What are your thoughts about the 60 now and the potentially they have.
I think there is a lot of myths around these trucks being unreliable but as of right now i have yet to see that happen to me.

Idk if you’ve got the sensor but I’m curious how much the EGTs were effected by it. This is a fun build to watch.
I will be monitoring the egts in the next couple videos
Built trans and may want to change your diff fluids soon and do they have a compund turbo on these id love to see that

when you're done with the 6.0 you should do a 7.3 next and doc tf out of it.

WHen i fix the death wobble and speedo i will

Yes sir they are still stock
The clutch????

You should reverse level it make it a race truck
Smaller wheels and tires and a built trans you’ll definitely be in the 4s

it needs a axle dump and a 8 or 10 inch tip

Nice 6.0. A 5.9 would be 900 to 1200 in torque I estimate
It’s literally the only aftermarket manifold besides custom.
The 6.0 is the rx7 of diesel trucks... Since i have two turbo rx7 i stick with my 7.3 diesel slow and reliable
Waiting for the day i see a 6.9 pushing over 850 on here😂
You buy a new head gasket yet
Why didn’t you just do all the upgrades at the same time? You’ve had the turbo out like 3 times now. Not very efficient
The only way I can afford to do this is to film a video per mod so I have to do it thisxway
