Love my enigma! Use it probably 80% of the time in my edc rotation. I actually find it easier to put on than a belt since majority of the time I wear shorts without a belt. Quick to strap up my enigma and throw shorts on top. Like you said, takes time to setup initially but once it’s set it’s great
I'm new to the concealed carry world and am having a hard time finding a IWB holster/system that doesn't force my pants down. I have lost a fair amount of weight, and it all seems to have come from my rear and not my stomach. When I cinch my belt tight enough to hold everything up it becomes way too uncomfortable to carry in any of the zones (appendix/strong side). I'm aware that every body type is different I just don't want the dreaded $$$$ drawer of unusable holsters. On a lighter note your videos are very informative! Thanks for all you do.
I think some people that are too clever by half take for granted those that are currently developing products that have already been there, done that. Appreciate the insights, and I miss picking out movies at Blockbuster almost as much as gas under a buck.
Yeah seriously. We improvised a lot of stuff back in the day (belt under clothes, sticking a Kydex shell in a Smart Carry or Thunderwear) and now I’m seeing people selling what I call “commercialized improvisations.” Ok, cool, it’s a belt under your clothes which marginally considers that use-case while retaining all the compromises of an improvisation. If that got us the performance we needed, we would just have stopped there and had an easier time of it.
We’re working on the first thing, with several more fits on the way this spring. We are not working on a sidecar type product, though. But you can put your mags wherever you want on the Enigma.
I use the phslter ascent pouch and put it right to the left of my optic. As I used to carry a sidecar before I got an enigma, so I prefer the 2 close together. You could do the same 👍🏽
I use the Hunter Constantine belt it’s probably the best belt you can use and is very comfortable even with a full-size gun. The enigma seems like a great tool I will eventually get one. I don’t need the extra concealment at the moment it would give me. It is a wonderful product and I learned the concealment principles from your channel. I love the philster floodlight holster you guys produce. It’s my favorite holster.
Lots of the gun bro types need to realize not everyone wears a hoodie and jeans with a flannel over. 😂 Plenty of every day people want to wear shorts or joggers or anything without belt loops. Women can’t put on a dress with a belt over it. Hell, I hate wearing pants with belt loops all the time. Normal holsters only really work when you’re wearing a hoodie and summer time will greatly disagree with that choice. I can’t have my EDC when I’m wearing a suit but I can with an enigma. Love it!
I actually lol'd at the nutnfancy reference at the end! (does that mean I'm old? Wait, is it possible to be old because you remember the good old days of TH-cam? I'm in a spiral now)
I have an Enigma, but rarely use it for the very reason that it is not convenient for me. I'm in a situation where I don't need/want to carry all day sitting at home or playing with my kids (I work from home). However, I may need to step out and make a quick run to the store, and it is much more efficient for me to put on a holster to my belt than take my pants off, strap on the enigma, put clothes back on, etc. Additionally, for whatever reason, my lack of mobility or just body shape makes any form of deep carry extremely uncomfortable if I need to bend at the waist for more than like 10 degrees. I really like the system, but it just doesn't work well for my situation. :(
No. It’s in response to the almost instant proliferation of the kinds of products we’re discussing and the unexamined assumptions which we left behind when designing the Enigma.
Best thought out holster I've ever utilized, I literally just highlighted the system in my latest episode. Thank You Again guys!!!

“Back when nutnfancy videos were only an hour” sent me.
Never did make it through one even back then.
It makes perfect sense to me, that's why I got a couple enigmas. But, some people learn the hard way!
I would consider an enigma if I could get more holster compatibility and a sidecar or sidecar equivalent.

@@seandee916 I had no idea that existed. Thanks 👍

I love this chassis but idk if it will work with my EDC set up. I’m one of the belt under clothes people atm.
We’re always happy to answer whatever questions you have! Hit us up any time.
Back when a phone book actually had paper with printed names, addresses, and numbers.
Love story time..
Love Pfhlster hate the leg leash so so much. Also make it look like we have a frumpy venus mound

Reimagine pants.
Is this video in response to the skinny California kid that recently switched from your product to a popular hybrid belt? 😂
