Thank you for debunking the body types - my sports teacher in high school was bullying me, because I was "mesomorph" and therefore I should perform better than the endomorphs (fat kids) and she gave them much better grades for lower performance and happily gave me a B from sports (because of gymnastics) despite the fact that I was representing my school in athletics... still hurts 😢

I've been confused by the 'body types being a myth' thing, when I've always thought of it as entire just about bone structure. Like you can be a 500lbs ectomorph or a 100lbs endomorph. That photo of Christian Bale; he's always somewhere on the meso-ecto scale. He's just fat or skinny or fit. Obviously targeting diet or training to these is nonsense, but it has never meant anything other than skeletal shape to me.
No idea if the app is good or not but this video is pretty uncharitable. Obviously the target date of "August 2020" implies "any date in August" i.e. by the 31st of August. Most people wouldn't read this as the 1st of August. That would change the change the expected rate of weight loss by quite a bit and by being uncharitable Layne is making this rate appear to be much less reasonable than it is.
@Nathaniel Nguyen fine maybe you’re correct about the above. I haven’t used the app so don’t know (and don’t care that much to be honest) but none of that addresses my point. If you’re going to criticise something then it’s best to do it with good faith arguments. I think Layne missed the mark here.
