That villager voice was so good I thought for a second that maybe you had someone else voice him but then I just realized you have that much of a gift of gab.
He sounded just like Polliver from Game of Thrones.

What you missed, Splat, is that 5 Gold, the amount First Peasant was asking for a simple peasant wedding, was ENOUGH TO BUILD AN INN
Raymond Biskner the supplies they asked for was that weeks tariff to their king too. I felt the intake and usage rates of this are kind of messed up. XD

This castle totally looks like old Teutonic castle of Marienburg/Malbork, headquaters of the Teutonic knights.
And the art on the walls is all Eastern European, the place name end in -no, they are clearly using Eastern Europe as inspiration, so no surprise it's Malbork Castle like. I don't think you need to call the Jarls, but your Hetmans (Don't trust the neighbours Splatty, you know how that works out.)
What a coincidence, I was looking for art inspiration for my own game and I stumbled upon this game like a week ago. Nice to see actual gameplay from it instead of just pictures and occasional gif

I don't know if it's true and it was probably different from place to place but I think that if someone married you indeed had to go to the king (or mayor or whatever person was in charge) to get his blessing. Everything else was indeed in your hands or the hands of the lord in charge of that place, maybe.
I'm far more entertained by the villager voice than I should be.
