Pineapples are made up of many berries.
It's also definitely not pronounced as "rue". You spell it out. "Are - oh - you - ess", plural is "Are - oh - you - esses".
Until I saw what it was I didn't see the acronym. I think if it was all uppercase it would have been more apparent. I like that the game added subtle easter eggs like that from other works of literature :)

@@SmashingSnow Not really, I no lifed it quite a bit. But it requires some learning here and there. Defending against the waves while also expanding into other regions keep you going. Until you either win or lose, I only lost so far. But i would recommend picking it up!

i looked up V nasty immediately and yes. the sing will give you a lasting headache.
You can pick up/grab the monsters and place them in that violet/purple circle (cullis gate) near your village, it'll destroy the monster and convert them into mana (influence).

I got this a while ago but i didnt know you could invade other regions later in the same game, in fact i thought you couldn't which made me stop playing. I'll have to revisit 1.0 to see how good it got! thanks splatty for teaching me new things about indie games i already own but forgot about.
When you are at the main menu you can kill the undead there. Do it for awhile something kinda neat happens lol
In the movie Princess Bride, they encounter ROUS's... its an acronym for Rodent Of Unusual Size... in short, its an homage to the movie.

Hey @Splattercatgaming, look into anxcillerys or how ever its spelled. it expands your build slots when you build and upgrade them as well. You also might wanna look for the build priority so your not just hoping they get things done when you need it done.

You talk about your spells, yet you don't even use them. One of the spells is to summon a holy golem to fight. Would have solved a lot of your issues and you wouldn't have had to dismantle your farm.

Just looked up V Nasty and yes that was horrible, that city song was so much better.
It was like comparing Mona Lisa to a blank canvas that was burned to complete ash and the ash was then dumped into a porta potty from a Kiss concert that had only one porta potty.
I find it impossible to play any cololony sim, after having played Rimworld. Rimworld is just the best.

Rous is not French for rat, that would be ... rat. R.O.U.S. comes from the Princess Bride as far as I know, it stands for Rodent Of Unusual Size.
Gah, why is he spacing out the buildings with useless 1 tile gaps? Buildings already include a fully walkable border(that you can build roads on) so that putting them next to each other will never block anything.

Idk why but this game runs LIKE SHIT on my setup. I don't feel like writing my specs but its around $1400
It's a super CPU heavy game, think. Ashes of singularity benchmark. I have a 1080 ti and it runs just about 20 when the map is full during the end game

"We built this city" is far from being the worst track of all time but by God, it's still shit. Terrible chart rock crap. Like I said, though, I can think of hundreds upon hundreds of tracks way worse than it. Anything by the Imagine Dragons, for example.
Its just the new stuff imo, their early days had some cool songs
