You didn't mention how they have the "harvesting levels" skill tree thing that allows them to become REALLY good at harvesting a specific material with the right-click ability. I like to pump levels into Organic Polymer and get hundreds of it per run with absolute ease.
Moschops are also good for their eggs, unlike a lot of early creatures it doesn't make basic kibble, making a Moschops farm useful for taming up mid tier dinos you need for some boss runs
@@peabrain6872 for a tame you get for free on day 1 its really good its slow and has poor stamina but it gathers fiber and kills things good just because it does more damage than a thyla does NOT mean its better or even as good still far better than a raptor tho
Here are my Moschops experiences: I was killing a moschops the other day, then it made that "attack animation" to release itself from the bola. That f*cker took away half of my health with that bite. Also the other day I had this little moschops I tamed and there was a low level Alpha Megalodon bugged on the shore. My moschops absolutely destroyed that fish So yeah, they are really fast, really though and hit like a truck, they would easily become a menace to the island if they weren't such a pushovers

Speaking of annoying food to tame, I've seen a wild Moschops request *organic polymer* for taming. They'll eat it, too. Though once they get tamed it becomes poisonous to them again.
Same. They are so cute I wouldn't want to kill one. I made a great progress in the early game with my Moschops so I have a soft spot for them, I tame them whenever I can.
I kill alpha Carnos, alpha raptors and mid lvl rexes with a lvl 200 moschops. They truly are op and I thought it was over when the Rex came for me. Great way to get early game loot by just killing alphas. Combined with their great gathering abilities they’re the best starter tame in my opinion
Uh hum! You can levle the piggys stats further in a separate scroll wheel. They can get a bonus on harvesting rare flowers rare mushrooms prime fish and prime meat. Its rare but i have see them have the ability to harvest crop plots for you giving you more than what was to offer.
Carry a high lvl Moschops in a cryopod in your inventory. Very useful for taming creatures that need a lot of narcotics. Narcoberries are better than narcotics because of their slow release torpor effect.
Oh I used to think about it but got lost on the way and got used to using only narcotics. So narcoberries can replace narcotics? Sounds much easier given that you can harvest them at the spot.
Its not everything, you've missed most important, levels of harvest that can be increased in options. Several to choose like rear flower, prime meat or polymer. its huge difference between stock mops and high leveled in for example polymer.
i gof notification that my wandering moschop kill a dilo.. i thought it wont & c cant attack anything and just run away from every predator so i pump up its hp & move speed only
If you are referring to tamed moschops, then I do have some bad news. Unfortunately tamed moschops will not follow orders to attack something, and will always effectively be on passive flee.
I do appreciate the vid but I'm looking for their attacks and what they do.. I can't seem to find anyone that explains this when they say "everything you need to know about moschops" lol
I apologize for that, and I would be more than happy to help with any questions you may have. Moschops' main attack is the simple left click attack. This does decent damage for a relatively early game tame. I probably should have explained in the video that controlling a Moschops is very simple, rather than just skipping over it. All it does when you ride it is attack and sprint. When you are not riding it, it just runs away from combat. Thanks for the criticism! This helps a lot~

A level 1 tamed moschops does 67 damage, this is more than a carno or thylacoleo

Careful if you’re playing as one, if you try to run away from a predator, it will automatically gather berries form foliage

I use them mainly for their harvest capabilities, the therizinosaurus has a similar feature when leveling up
