Meg doesn't have "stage fright". She played hundreds and hundreds of gigs and to tens of thousands at festivals. She had acute anxiety during the 2007 tour. 10 years of nearly constant gigging. Something changed during 2007 and she chose to step aside. God Bless Meg White.

He just had to be perfect at his job, and he definitely delivered.

I went to Middle Earth Records to find a CD and was puzzled that there were only two people on the cover. Where was the rest of the band? Now knowing they were only a duo, my buddy and I anxiously awaited the SNL performance. I thought Jack was just going to stand there while she drummed in the background. I was NOT PREPARED for what I saw! And neither was my best friend! As soon as this performance ended, my phone rang. I picked up and my best bud screamed "WAS THAT NOT AWESOME OR WHAT?!"

I was fully engrossed into the underground hip hop scene back when the White Stripes were emerging in the late 90s/early 2000s, so I missed out on this regrettably. The White Stripes are one of the few groups that move me.

Kudos to SNL for acknowledgin what the peoples want, and gibbing it. They got higher than this 640x480 though, let's be clear.

The words, pronunciation of,meaning, guitar accompaniment of the song or vice versa, of all Jack White's songs are some of the only living rock music that can stand the test of time. Miracles of rock. Little deaths for sure. Meg, too.
Didn’t like John McCain much, but I had enormous respect for the guy due to him being a war hero and for trying to get politics to be civil. He is now with the greats in whatever afterlife he is in.
