ADA Emergency Preparedness Webinar Disability Inclusion and Consideration in Vaccination Centers

This session will discuss accessibility considerations for vaccination centers centered primarily around physical accessibility, communication access, and programmatic access including staff training and information sharing. Vaccination sites come in all sizes and this discussion will highlight mega sites, and will focus around the sites in Los Angeles, California; mobile vaccination missions through large cities and remote routes; and fixed facilities in Nevada and Washington.

Presenters:
Linda Mastandrea serves as the Director of the Office of Disability Integration and Coordination (ODIC). The office leads FEMA's commitment to whole-community emergency management by integrating individuals with disabilities into all aspects of disaster preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation.
Roxann Crawford is the FEMA Region IX Disability Integration Specialist.
Danielle Bailey is the FEMA Region X Disability Integration Specialist.
L. Vance Taylor is the Chief of the Office of Access and Functional Needs, Cal OES. Vance is responsible for ensuring the needs of individuals with disabilities and persons with access and functional needs are identified before, during, and after a disaster, and integrating disability needs and resources into emergency management systems.
