The keys to this game for Colorado is the exploitation of the Oregon’s defensive backfield. it is very weak and they have not experienced this type of world-class speed from the wide outs. The last two weeks our offense had a tough time deciphering the eight deep zone coverage. The receivers must make their reads quicker and find the holes that will present itself because of this type of coverage. This kind of coverage is used when the defense tries to negate the team speed of the offense. By allowing very short, intermediate passes, and then using their superior numbers and tackling ability to limit big plays.
In the fourth-quarter last game , we finally figured it out and we begin to hit the seams and holes in this eight-man deep zone coverage. Oregon is not foolish to try to play man up on our receivers. That’s a deaf sentence, and they will be blown out.
Our defensive line must be ferocious. Make their read much quicker and fill the gaps to limit their long gains. Our linebackers must cut off these very short and intermediate crossing routes. They must put a body on their receivers and make them pay for coming across the middle. They did not do in the last game and in the previous game as well.
Lastly, our offense must quicken pace. Specially, in the first and second quarter. To catch them offguard. Specially if we soften them up with long deep passes. And there are some completions in it. by quickening the pace, it will tire out the defensive line. Our offensive line must come to play and man up. Go all out to protect Shedeur. if they give him time and passing lanes, he will pick his team apart. Which will translate into an easy victory. Unfortunately, our defense is going to give up a lot of points. And this is why I believe this is going to be a ferocious shootout. But we will persevere and overcome and adapt and find a way to win this game. The score 43 to 40 in favor of Colorado

At the end of the day they have not faced a QB like Bo Nix and we are built inside out and Colorado is built outside in. As for the game, it should be fun. Does Colorado have a chance to win? Of course, anything can happen in a college football game. See Appalachian State vs Michigan. Will they win? Probably not. And moving through the conference they are most likely going to struggle as they play tougher teams. Oregon, USC, Oregon State, UCLA, Washington State and Utah are all possible losses. And many outlets are saying Colorado will only win 6 games.
