As much as I've always been a fan of Deion Sanders, as much as I have always enjoyed him as a fan. As an Educator, watching his talks with his teams, Coach Prime is teaching sooo much more than just football. He's giving these young men life skills. He's speaking life into them, he's speaking manhood to them and that's powerful and last longer than their college football years. See , regardless of which University athletes play for, only a few will make it to the NFL. But whether they make it or not, what Coach Prime is giving them will carry them through the various stages of life, especially the young men who have not been fathered. Despite all the noise and Coach Prime's success in Colorado thus far, Stephen wanted to remind people of the challenges Coach Prime has faced, including enduring 12 surgeries and losing two toes to amputation. So, I hope those who wish to see Coach Prime fail will reconsider and give him a chance. He's a great example of the quote, 'You laugh and cry and struggle, and sometimes you fail, and sometimes you succeed.' Let him be who he is, and let's offer our support. Deion is displaying a master class in leading men. Each one of the young men on his team, support staff, etc. are experiencing a betterment of their life, their mental health, and their purpose. He's doing the simple blocking and tackling to make sure these young men have strong minds, comport themselves with character, and allow themselves to achieve. He's coaching their mind, and letting the rest of his staff handle the details and use that well shaped and conditioned mind to go out and experience success and achievement, which feeds their self esteem and then the cycle repeats. So many coaches/leaders focus on the Xs and Os but if you focus on the human being, the rest will take care of itself.
As if he sees his players as actual young men with emotions and feelings and not just a player who can fill a position and help him win games like other coaches at power 5 schools

Jay Norvell was 3-9 last season his first year at Colorado State. 0-1 to start this year. If he continues on his losing path. Colorado State will be interviewing for another Head Coach. Hats and sunglasses won't matter. Head Coaches are paid to win Football games. Coach Sanders has made Colorado relevant in his first year. Just by being him Coach Sanders has not changed. Ironic how that coach was insinuating a lack of class, while going about insulting Deion's mother, his upbringing and character. And in a demonstration of class Deion didn't mud sling or retaliate, but kept it about the kids, the advancement of the program, the awareness of purpose and the sincere gratitude for being alive. All of which would have been missed had he taken the bait and chosen to be base and simple with (whatever that coach's name is).
Thanks to Jay Norvell, he just helped sunglass purchases go up by 30% nationwide. If Boulder is smart, they will stamp a prime logo on those sunglasses and sell them.

This was fun to watch. We were at Saturday's game against Nebraska. The energy and excitement was amazing and 100% positive on Colorado. The fans are all in for Coach Prime and the Colorado Buffs
Prime is such a "real" dude. He speaks from the heart and it touches you, that is a talent. I'm taking his words to heart in this moment while I'm going through it. "Why me?" was something I would always say to myself whenever things go wrong for me, which seems to be all the time. But hearing Deion talk about what he went through and never saying those words, that hits hard in "here"
Here is some further background. Prime was interviewed by the CSU AD for the same HC position AT THE SAME TIME as Norvell. CSU hired Norvell instead, and Deion stayed at Jackson. How would you feel if you were Norvell and your biggest rival in CU, hired the guy who was your runner up for the same job....and hes doing every single thing that AD could have only wished for, at your rival school instead. And not only that...hes already changing CFB landscape two games in. Its been personal for Norvell since Prime got hired at CU. He finally cracked...

I am a lifer Cowboys fan and on the day the signed Prime I was ready to dump them. As a Cowboys fan I hated the 49ers and Prime was the Prime target of that hate! Over the last three days I have listened to about ever Prime video in the last 10 months or so. Listening to him talk to the school staff was unbelievable. I am a believer and I would be honored to have him lead my child . What a leader of boys to men! Hat off, he is twice the leader as he was a player.

Prime is making money for the school, money for the players, but most of all, he's making memories for all the students on that campus and the fans who've been thru the dark days, and I personally think that's one of his his most important contributions in all of this.

I love watching Deion. You wont find another guy that's more inspiring than him right now. He's it. He's him!
Deion is displaying a master class in leading men. Each one of the young men on his team, support staff, etc. are experiencing a betterment of their life, their mental health, and their purpose. He's doing the simple blocking and tackling to make sure these young men have strong minds, comport themselves with character, and allow themselves to achieve. He's coaching their mind, and letting the rest of his staff handle the details and use that well shaped and conditioned mind to go out and experience success and achievement, which feeds their self esteem and then the cycle repeats. So many coaches/leaders focus on the Xs and Os but if you focus on the human being, the rest will take care of itself.

"Why me?" was something I would always say to myself whenever things go wrong for me, which seems to be all the time. But hearing Deion talk about what he went through and never saying those words, that hits hard in "here"

How would you feel if you were Norvell and your biggest rival in CU, hired the guy who was your runner up for the same job....and hes doing every single thing that AD could have only wished for, at your rival school instead. And not only that...hes already changing CFB landscape two games in. Its been personal for Norvell since Prime got hired at CU. He finally cracked...

I am a lifer Cowboys fan and on the day the signed Prime I was ready to dump them. As a Cowboys fan I hated the 49ers and Prime was the Prime target of that hate! Over the last three days I have listened to about ever Prime video in the last 10 months or so. Listening to him talk to the school staff was unbelievable. I am a believer and I would be honored to have him lead my child . What a leader of boys to men! Hat off, he is twice the leader as he was a player.
