Sales man says yes it’s worth it.
It's backed by science tho.
Prizm Road is beautiful, kinda gives "sunset colors" at any time of day. Actual sunsets turn into searing pinks and deep dark blues. I want to try "Trail Torch" soon, I hope it gives a similar effect with higher light transmission
Tell oakley to bring back the trail prizm lens. It's a genius product.
It's still offered in prescription! 😎
Since we are on the subject. Prizm Daily polarized should come in every frame, just saying 👍🏾. The EV Advancers❤ are probably the best sport glasses Oakley has made running, shooting or just standing in the sun with a hat on. My dream lense is an 18% light polorized lense for my Ev Advancers and Mercenarys 🖖🏾. Thanks for the vid
I wish Oakley made Prizm Sapphire with less contrast and VLT 15-17%. Something like Jade but with warmer colors. Jade is too cool for my liking. OO Red Iridium Polarized has been the best lens I ever used. Too bad they no longer make it.
Which prizm lense for summer hiking in bright light? Prizm road or something darker?
If I want to get my first CLIFDEN glasses but I’m getting prescription but I want color like my glasses clear which one would you recommend prizm or prizm polarize
I'm looking at getting a pair of the Radar ev's for baseball. im a high school players and have the flak 2.0 and i like them but they dont have enough coverage on my face. i have the prizm field lense on them that i love but i was wondering wether the prism ruby (non polorized) was worth it or not over the prism field and what the main real differences are.
Hi Felix! It looks like the Prizm Ruby isn't offered for the Radar EV Path/Pitch. Regardless, the Prizm Field is still the better choice of the two. The main difference has to do with the base tints. The Field uses a Rose base where the Ruby has a bronze base. Bronze will still deliver great contrast enhancement, but the rose plays more to the color and tones of the ball field in general, making it easier to track the ball in flight. Hope this helps!
Can you tell me if there’s a difference with light transfer between Prizm polarized lenses versus non-polarized? I found that the polarized versions had more intensity over the non-polarized version. Am I just seeing things?
polarized lenses can come off that way yes. they're amazing.
Do you guys ship internationally?
I'm looking for a pair to kill off the whites a bit but can also be used indoor for while working on a computer. Not sure the gaming is ideal because I would like to use them outside too. I have very sensitive eyes and get migraines frequently. I was looking at the Prizm Snow Non Polarized but I know its gonna make everything a bit pink... I seen people like the Deep Water which seems to sounds good as everyday'ers but I'm just curious which non polarized to get for indoor and outdoor use for using my eyes for long periods of time. Some people say the Ruby is a good daily..
Hi there! Prizm lenses are generally intended for outdoor use and are likely too dark to be used indoors. Most people opt for Photochromic, or Transitions, lenses that start clear and 'transition' to a tinted lens when exposed to UV light if they want a true all-in-one lens. However, if you were to choose a Prizm lens for indoor use, your best option is one with the highest VLT rating which is Prizm Trail (36% VLT). Hope this helps!
@@sportrxeyewear Yes it does. Thank you!
no problem!
I’ve got the Oakley Prism Jade Corridor glasses. Can anyone tell me what Lens cleaner is SAFE to use? Preferably something I can purchase on Amazon. Thanks.
Hi! You'll find many different effective lens cleaning solutions & brands on amazon. Pre'moistened one-time use wipes are great for on-the-go and the spray bottle plus microfiber cloth is good to have at your desk or around the house. sing Gently massaging the lenses with your fingers under room temp running water will remove spots on the lens without damaging the coatings as well. While not all cleaners are created equal, the chances of damaging the lenses are relatively slim as long as you're using a *_clean_* microfiber cloth application. Hope this helps!
I have a question - I am looking for a Prescription mirrored sunglasses on Oakley. Are these Prizm Ruby Polarised Prescription Single Focal Lenses have a mirror coating (i.e. others can see their reflection while talking to me) are mirrored or not? Couldn’t find a single video or an article on this.
Hello! The Prizm Ruby lens has a bronze base tint coupled with a solid red mirror. This will make it difficult for people to see your eyes through the lens while you're wearing the frames.
Can you recommend which model will be best suited while playing cricket
Of course! Something with a wide viewing perspective and reduced frame obstruction is key. Included below are a few frame models to consider. For lenses, the Prizm Field, Trail, or Golf will help to highlight the ball against the green and brown backdrop of the field, making it easier to spot and track the ball in flight🏏

@sportrx what prizm lens would you recommend for tennis?
Hey Aggie! Prizm Field, Golf, or Dark Golf perform well on the court and help to highlight the ball in flight. 🎾
Curious on what frame TJ is wearing. Can anybody help?
What up Bobby!? TJ is wearing the Persol PO3007VM 🥸
Are polorized oakley sunglasses UV protected? What pair would you recommend that offers the best UV protection?
Hi! All lenses from SportRx have UV protection, even clear/non tinted lenses.
prizm on crankshaft would be great
Please dude help me, I’m a kid but I need to know if centerboards can be hooked back on, the left arm came off and I’m having trouble putting it back on, so is it possible?
Hey Evan! The Oakley Centerboards have a unique pin system that connects the temple to the frame front. If the pin fell out, a local optician can likely replace it. If the temple broke, then it will unfortuantely require a replacement. Additionaly, you can contact the place where you purchased the glasses to inquire about a warranty. Hope this helps!
@@sportrxeyewear well the arm fell off but the hinge is still connected to the glasses, is there a way I can repair it at home? There is no further damage, the arm doesn’t have a broken piece, neither the glasses, just the fact that it is off the hinge
I think we'd need to see a couple photos of what you're describing. If you send a few images to info@sportrx.com an optician will get back to you with an answer. Or give us a call! 877.289.2999
What prizm is best for driving?
Hello! Great question. There's no singular Prizm lens that we'd qualify as the best for driving. Some of it depends on the environment as well as personal preference. The Prizm Black Polarized is one of the better options for dry climates and desert landscapes. For lush, green terrain, something with a bronze or rose base pairs well. Check out the Prizm Tungsten Polarized or Ruby Polarized. Hope this helps!
What glasses are you wearing?
Persol 3007-V 🔥
why doesn't oakley make polarized sutro?
The Sutro was designed, and is used by many athletes for a wide variety of sports and activities that typically don't benefit from Polarized lenses. This includes Cycling, Baseball, Running, etc. The reason being that polarization can negatively affect depth perception and slow reaction time, making it difficult to track a ball in flight or identify upcoming hazards in the road or tail.
@@sportrxeyewear Sure. However, many people use sutro on a daily basis. I have several pieces of Oakley polarised glasses but the sutro are my favourite. I miss this facility in them, they would then be perfect. Oakley should offer a Prizm P lens ;)
Agreed!
Gatorz eyewear polarized technology leaves Oakley in the dust but they're still good sunglasses 😎
🤣
The lens get irreversible damage from cleaning with water.
Hi! Gently massaging the lens with your fingers under room-temp running water will help remove dirt & oil buildup on a lens. Drying with a microfiber cloth will not damage the mirror or lens itself. However, using salt water or cleaning with your shirt, or another rough cloth, may damage the lens if even a granular speck of debris gets between the lens and the cloth when cleaning.
