Didn't know those Hutchinson tyres, but those look great. Been asking WTB for a 700c version of their Sendero, but the Tundras in 45 should work well too (Canyon Grizl). it can get quite muddy over here (NL)
Have you any plans on making a similar build for anyone else?! I’m toying with upgrading my existing bike (Nukeproof Digger) or trading it in and going for something else but in the same style as the digger!
Hi Jimmi: Francis sent me. Great video. When do you decide to cut the steerer tube? I watched the cut and said: can't undo that...." I need a crash course in cable routing and hydraulic brake installation .... nice watching a pro at work.
Nic marks it off based on the customers bike fit. Having made these videos I can confirm I have no interest in ever doing my own routing/discs. Leave that for the pros! 😂
is it possible to flat bar using components from gravel (shifter eagle AXS but using crank and sprocket SRAM rival/force/red)? I'm using a hybrid bicycle.
is there something special about the bbb grip tape you're using? noticed it in all of your other builds and it doesn't seem to be that popular elsewhere
Hey Jimmi! I have the same bike and am thinking about to upgrade the bottom bracket for a more durable one. Which one did you fit on this bike? I'm running the Sram Rival XPLR wide currently. Any suggestions? Cheers!
Kool video, and sick bike. BUT hope you court that the front brake isn’t mounted correctly.. caliper is too far from rotor. Fork must be 160mm rotor ready, rather than 140 and adding a 160mm caliper mount means it sits far too high. Don’t mean to be THAT guy but hey here I am haha 🤣
