OK...............why not have the BEST EV's in the world come to Canada ?...........Let the Chinese $20,000 ev's into Canada !!!!!...........NOW !! they are twice as good as this car at half the Price !
Your point about not needing to install specialised equipment to charge is inaccurate. Most homes in NA, let alone condos and townhomes as a Vancouverite, don’t have 240v plugs in their garages. Even worse if their home isn’t roughed-in for EV - they’ll need to hire someone specialised to install that.
I wouldn't recommend using the washer/dryer receptacle to charge an EV. Most of those receptacles are not rated to sustain larger amount of current for a long period of time. You need a very heavy duty one. This advice should be removed from the video.
@autotrader_ca Research the difference between a $10 NEMA 14-50 from Home Depot and a $200 Hubbell HBL9450A from Grainger. It's well documented that the $10 version, which is adequate for a dryer, tends to burn and melt while charging an EV over time. A dryer consumes a small amount of current for a short time. An EV can consume 50A for many hours. Be responsible and don't recommend this to people.
The people at Honda that thought about collaborating with gm should all be fired. The only thing that people who have owned a Honda and buy a prologue won't be use to is going to the garage because their car will always be breaking down. 70 grand for a GM EV. Goodluck Honda. Now Mazda did it right with the cx50.
Aww somebodies feathers were ruffled or didn’t get enough sleep but at $47,000.00 many can afford the vehicle besides according to Honda and GM affordability and accessibility priorities for this partnership, but environmental sustainability according to both manufacturers. Honda changes the style of their vehicles every year and by hooking up with GM that won’t be a problem much like the first Pilot when Honda and Isuzu partnered with Isuzu which by the way GM owned Isuzu so they’ve at it for years. Take a look at the Nissan KICKS and the Polestar 3 are using the Chevy Blazer for their EV vehicles.

Yes Jodi, The Prologue is the epilogue in the GM/Honda relationship.
Great video. My last nightmare with EV is I find a charging spot and when I reach there it isn't working 😳
That has happened to me MANY times before and it makes me so upset every time!! -Jodi
Is this review for 2024 or 2025? Is 2025 Honda prologue out yet?

@@thejuicerr The charger is made to run on a NEMA 14-50 outlet. This isn’t junk science - it’s fact.

Touch screen is Pure Garbage....with 1 inch black bezels and about 8 square inches of gloss black neat the dial !
The Honda Prologue is perfectly fine for who? It's grotesque, oversized & very ugly.
