3 years ago I shot my PB 88 on a local course in Austin. Since then I’ve had several surgeries and now wear an internal prosthetic. Your videos helped me get close again. I shot a 92 on Paradise Point in NC this past week.
Well, I am just so sick of people not improving so I guess it's up to me to get people to stop hitting with their arms and use the body. How many people are even teaching this? So I have a tough road ahead. As I keep making people better I hope they will tell other and we can start a revolution. Thanks for your support.
That's great. Glad you are doing well. I actually do care. I'm stick of seeing struggle with this game. Most just need to know how it works and just do a few simple things. Once they do, it's a whole new world which makes it a lot more fun.
Great video, Paul. I just got an e-mail from a TV golf instructor who is going to fix 5 problems with my swing, e.g., hook, slice, popup, etc. What these teachers don't seem to get is that most public (amateur) golfers do not need their swings fixed. They need instead to GET the swing, i.e., power source should be the body, not the hands and/or arms. So this guy (and, indeed, most instructors) are fixing bad swings instead of teaching the good swing. You've got it right--you've had it right all along--so don't stop. Most golfers need you!!!
There are band aid teachers and technique teachers. I am a technique teacher. I am usually the guy that usually rips it apart and rebuilds it. Countless times I have been the person's last resort and I have fixed them 2-4 hours. I have no fear or doubt in what I teach. I get amazing results when people come here for lessons (should have seen my student yesterday amazing). Band aid teachers are just trying to get you to hit some good shots so you can play a half decent round (which serves the purpose). They will not teach a technique because you might not get it that day. If not, you will never come back. I took lessons myself. I asked questions no one could answer. So I know what people are going through. That is not me. I am going to explain it so you get how it works. Then I am going to keep it simple so you actually do it. I am also going to give the person feedback they can check so they can still do it right 100% without me. And they can literally fix their own swing once they leave. This is how I have always thought and focused on for 29 years. Fast and easy. The whole point of people taking lessons is so they can do it on their own. I don't want them coming back. If the person does what I want them to do others will see their swing and want to come to me too. So there is a never ending supply of students for me. Other business models are different. So yes, I will keep doing what I am doing and explaining it so people get the concept. There is so much technical stuff out there that is only going to confuse people. Simple is the way.
Thanks Paul. Great drill. Been doing the body swing for a long time. It is the secret to easy distance. Injury for the past few years has made it difficult. Finally legs are healthier and all is coming back again. Did a testimonial video for you quite a while ago. Grateful for your teaching. When I came back from injury I went back to your body swing video. Very good to go back to the fundamentals.
Sorry to hear about your injury. Sucks when you can't swing. Glad you are feeling better and super glad you went back to the fundamentals. This is the way to get it back. Keep it super simple. Do daily practice swings as you need to re-learn the movement. Shouldn't take you long. Don't over do it though. Be careful. People get excited and end up on the sidelines again.
This is by far the best golf tip I have ever heard in my years of watching and listening to golf coaches. I was averaging about 250 yards with an occasional 300 yards drive. I took this to the range and immediately 4 of the my first 5 drives topped 300yards. I averaged 292 on my next round and still hit over 50% of the fairways and I'm the guy u find in the woods looking for balls after a drive..lol 😂 . Thanks Paul! You are the best!!
So glad you found this tip, tried it and saw a huge gain. Just had to get your lower body moving. Stay focused. With those yardages there is no excuse why you can't get mid to low 70's. Just take a little work on the swing and short game. You've got this!
This tip makes too much since, I started golfing at 57. Now 59 and only hitting 175, I can't wait to try this! It will be raining all week so I'll have to wait until next week. Downloading your app now, thank you for being so willing to help us new guys!
Hi Paul, ur info on how to hit driver for 7 bucks was worth every dollar on top to all the great instructions on your channel. I have been tinkering with diff ways to hit the golf balls for the last 5 years and stumbled on ur videos and gave it a try. I played some good golf today. My farthest drive was 300 plus straight down the middle of a par 5 540 yards. My arms were completely relaxed and went along for the ride as I followed your tips on how to coil the upper body and release with the legs and hip turn. Got on the green 80 percents of the time! U were right!
So glad you found me. Thank you for your support. Great feeling when you swing with effortless power. Long and straight is the goal. Stay focused and keep feeling "nothing" into the future.
Ive watched most all of your videos, this is my favorite. I tried this technique by accident 2 weeks ago because my shoulders were hurting (I do construction). I saw someone else at the tee box who was swinging the way you teach, and did a few practice swings like him just to see how it felt. I decided to tee a ball up and hit it, ball flew to the fringe and rolled up onto the green 320 yards from the tee box. I'm 59 years old and normally drive 230-250 max on a good hit. This works, and feels more natural.
Great. Glad you tried it and now you see that the legs generate way more power than hitting with the arms. Please keep doing. This will dramtically change your game.
Hi Michael I'm on 42 smooth swing off 7 barely get passed 230 240 I'm 6ft 1 fit and solid build what's the legs need to do any suggestions ill watch payla video but what did u do I have a swimg that is great in plane everything
Do these 2 drills daily and in a month you will be hitting it longer than you can imagine: th-cam.com/video/SfIM2GWj9Cs/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/hJeAcEYbvhM/w-d-xo.html
This tip.... Along with gripping club like I have a bird in my hands .... rotating my shoulders like a top.... and not swinging with my arms..... releases a ton of energy!! It improves my distance exponentially!! Love the videos!!
@@paulwilsongolf Thanks Paul and I drove it around 250 before I utilized this great advise and didn't think I could do better... The best advise of all was keep on trying and don't give up!! Keep up the great work ; )
took some of your tips to the course yesterday hit a few pars and finished 18 holes in half the time it use to take me with way less fatigue, Thanks Paul, my distance has been a problem cant wait to take this one out there
I cant say enough about your fantastic tips and how easy they are to apply. I've never seen a teacher with so many exciting ideas presented in such a simple way. Every tip makes me want to head out and try them right away because they work! Keep up this simplistic approach to teaching a complicated but beautiful game.
Wow, thank you! I have always seen it differently. Simple is a huge key and what can the person (who practices once a week) actually do. Glad you are trying it.
Went for hit otherday had barely warmed up but enough to play on our 9th hole 306 metres effortlessly hit a high draw on damp fairway approach my ball check my golf watch to check yardages and it was 226 metres i had 80 metres to pin ill let you convert to yards thanks for your swimg tips swimging well now paul
dave b today. I have had several lessons over a long period of time and never shown marked improvement. I tried your relaxing arms technique and got instant significant increase in driver distance. i am talking about upwards of 30 yards carry, I am now trying to incorporate loading the right leg and pushing. honestly cant believe the extra distance. lon may it continue. cheers paul.
Excellent! Now that is a big difference. Now you have seen it this needs to be your trigger on every shot for ever. I remember getting this a long time ago too. I was a game changer. Keep at it.
Simple is the key. If you understand it you will do it. If you don't quit after 3 tries and actually see some good ones you will want to keep doing it. That is all I am trying to get people to do. I just need them to try it.
I am so happy that I stumbled upon your channel. First, you helped me with putting and I continue to putt so well. I'm finally out of my funk but this body swing is going to help me tremendously. I have tennis elbow in both elbows. I play a lot of golf in my wrists start to hurt. I can't wait to go to the range and start doing these drills. Thank you so much!
Glad you found me too. Sounds like you need help for sure. The sore arms is you hitting with them. You need to stop immediately. This tells me you started as an adult and you're just whacking away at it. Kids have no arm strength and they can hit it a long way. You need to loosen up. So watch these first: th-cam.com/video/CV7RbrqFUAE/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/uPAmgM8weTs/w-d-xo.html Do these: th-cam.com/video/0gOuKQpUl54/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/LAejvDbw_aA/w-d-xo.html Make sure you are hinging and rehinging your wrists. The arm unit is a big part of the swing. This is half. Get half then work on the other half.
...the ‘body swing’ is the best for me as far as distance and consistency is concerned...at 69 I had to go left handed as my left hip was bone on bone...I played okay right , but wanted to continue to play golf as best I could... came across the Body Swing’...and all the tips from Paul have made me play better than I could have imagined... to anyone, this is very easy to learn , albeit every swing has a need for technique ( but you don’t need to be triple joined like most of the other swing methods )...but once I practiced what Paul was teaching, I was getting consistent compression that I never experienced before...Paul says at 75 you get weaker... but I’m not worrying because I’m now smoking my drives ( 190 ish hitting at 70% like Paul recommends ) and hitting greens ( 160 in ) while now at 72 years young with this swing... and after a round, I have energy left, and NO back pain... thanks Paul for your videos and for making my golf game fun....
Watched this video, went to the range and hit further than ever haha. I just let my arms hang and let my legs/hips do all the work. My arms just went along for the ride. Thank you sir!
I was doing this just yesterday by concentrating on my weight on my instep on the backswing. I was trying to work on rotation with my hips & pushing off with my right foot instep was helping with my iron shots...they seemed more penetrating in the ball flight. Working on getting my wrist loose as I hinge & re-hinge in my follow-thru. I just started reading “Bobby Jones on Golf” and in Chapter One, he talks about the same swing concepts in your Swing Machine Golf book. “Two of the important points in the swinging machinery are the wrists and hips; if the wrists do not flex easily, or if the trunk does not turn readily, a true swing cannot be accomplished.” - Bobby Jones
I think it was Arnold Palmer who said: "If I want to hit the ball farther, I slow my swing down!" I think he meant he slowed his arms down IE trying to kill the ball which you mention in your video. I love the fact you teach the effortless swing because like many players my first thought is swing hard and kill the ball. The entire body plays a role and I'm glad you mentioned the role of the hips, legs etc. I will admit the first video I watched of yours on the effortless swing my first thought was...Yeah right! Well I was wrong. Congrats on 100K! Thanks for the videos Paul!
This is a good tip. I've done this before with success but over time have not even thought much about it. I will get back to it tomorrow. Thanks for the reminder.
Paul, people do not understand how much energy comes from being attached to the ground. All good boxers, soccer players, pitchers, quarterbacks, tennis players etc.use the ground as an anchor/Power point. Some of them don’t even know it. An extreme example would be a pitcher jumping to throw the ball - if he was not anchored to the ground he would not get near the power he does from digging his lead leg in and propelling himself forward. Another example would be a quarterback throwing across his body. Especially a right handed quarterback rolling left and throwing right. He just doesn’t have the power that he does when he sets his feet, closes his body to his target, and releases the ball. A good punch is followed by a shift in weight where the boxer grounds himself on his punching leg and throws a nice tight punch. It’s physics. Great lesson as always!
A few weeks ago I drove the ball about 275 - 280 yards on the course, my normal distance was 190 - 200, hitting it hard, I still believe the ball bounced off something on the fairway to make it go that far, as of now I'm about on average about 230 plus and climbing. I need to relax more, old habits are hard to lose. Any increase is an improvement. Love to live, Live to golf in many years to come.
No. I think it was all you. You have been following me for a while now so you should be seeing really amazing shots every now and again. More and more will come.
Powerful, effortless, painfree.....golf swing....."now your talking to me"!......im all in....never struck the ball better...no more weak...glancing blows that fall right and short.....the strike is pure and the ball just takes off....its a beautiful thang...all based on the body swing method & DRILS...DRILLS...DRILLS....at home > range !.... im thinking 50k swings to get the "hit" and "arms" out of your mind and replace it with body swing mantra.....i.e....EFFORT related like any endeavor.....but you reap what you sow!....
Great to hear from you. Was thinking about you a few weeks ago while looking at Facebook. Glad you are doing well. Haven't been back in many years. Probably wouldn't even recognize it.
Absolutely the most illusive power move of all. I want it! If I could hit 300 I can say I've reached my goal in golf. The score means nothing compared to that 300. I've been smashing away for years with a 220 max. So frustrating. Thank you Paul for your honest tips.
Thanks 👍 Got to have other thoughts to replace the thoughts you are having. Think 50%. or I'm just going to hit the fairway not I am going to hammer this one and out drive all my friends. Rare when that every happens.
Tiger Woods seems to be using a modified pro version of this. I noticed the change, but couldn't put a finger on exactly what changed. He still has to un-learn all the previous years, and some swings are not good. When I found you 3 months ago I said "that's it". I decided to change, risking my 10 Hcp. I'm now a 7. Keep them coming.
Hi Paul must say I do love all the instruction, and gyve it all my best trying all of it sadly I'm now just turned 72 years old and trying desperately to get some consistency back in my game have got back from a golf week with buddies and pleased to say much improvement only thing I have suffered is that transering mi weight to hit with my legs and lower body than my arms the heals of my feet are now very painful knot blaming you the instruction is fantastic
72 is young. One of my followers is 94. Not sure why your feet were sore. No one ever tells me this. I would think you are doing something too hard or wrong. Most people seem to always want to go as hard as they can as opposed to building it up gradually. If this trigger isn't working switch to turning your belt buckle to hit it. That is another trigger I teach.
We learn from others. I guarantee 99% of even Hogan followers didn't pick up on this one. I just happened to see it and it resonated with me. If you look at the famous picture of Hogan hitting the 1 iron at Merion you can count 13 spikes on his right shoe.
I have been using the stack and tilt method for several months. I hit it pretty good that way but recently my back started killing me. What to do? Then I remembered seeing the pain free method of swinging a golf club that I dabbled with last year. So I started using your method a couple of days ago when I practiced in my back yard. I can hit up to about 90 yds or so to a small green that I built years ago. I'm a retired golf course superintendent by the way. To make a long story short Thank You Mr. Paul Wilson. I played today and guess what my back doesn't hurt. Can't wait to really get into your method. Thanks again.
Well playing in pain is not fun. I too have a bad back and it never hurts playing golf. Glad you tried my technique. I literally want a swing for life for everyone. Slowly build it up. It is really about allowing the head to move a little and you coil circular. Get then then attach the arm unit with loose wrists and you pretty much have it. So it shouldn't take too long. It will feel effortless when you've got it.
Maybe you would prefer the term ,buggy whip swing, that describes the arms and upper torso swing Then comes the modern swing that encourages using the lower body and the ground .In the old days we also described the two major swings as golfers that swing through the ball and the other was the hitter or the golfer that hit at the ball. I'm 80 and still practice every day, still play reg tees and hdcp 3 to 5. I use different swings for different conditions and am always open to learning new techniques.
Paul, I really enjoy the effortless pain free body golf swing with driver I had picked up from this technique you had taught in previous video lessons and tips. It sure does work! I did gain 50 yards. My normal drives were 180-200. Average 190. I started hitting 220...then 225....finally 235...all in one round. It was nice to use a 7 iron or a shorter iron for my 2nd shot rather than a 4 iron or wood in which I hit my irons well. (I use a different swing technique with my irons I won't change) My drives is what is impressing me. For years, I struggle getting off the tee box with driver. Took time to get rid of the dreaded banana ball slice. Once I did, I was looking for power. I had not implemented the back foot instep push off yet but only can imagine how much further I send that ball down the fairway. Thank you for the wonderful tip...Got the relax easy effortless swing down...let's add that back foot! Can't wait to give it a go! Oh, I'm 51 with a 14 hcp. 👍⛳🏌️♂️🇺🇸
I actually did this one time years ago and it floored me. I remember contact was just ok but instead of hitting 4 iron next shot, i hit a 9 iron. That's at least 50 yards difference. Not sure why i didnt pick up on it after that but i'm gonna try it once i have this body swing down pat.
Yeah, I would keep doing it. Like me, you had a huge distance gain. Keep doing it. Get used to it then work on your swing (loosen up) for better contact.
Wow what an amazing revelation! I feel that. Its so much more powerful than the way I was turning my hips. Cant wait to be able to hit some balls. Thank you thank you!
Hi Paul I’ve been watching a few of your videos now and I can only think of Sam Snead when I see your swing. He hit it miles even when he was my age (62y) . I’m going to keep watching. Great stuff Best wishes Richard (9hcp)
Many years ago as a caddy I remember when I was with the better golfers, when they would swing the club I could hear the change rattle in their pockets, this push and rotate may well explain that rattle noise.I am a firm believer that there are two distinct golf swings, one uses the lower half and the other uses the upper half of the body to generate club head speed.
Glad you like it. Some tips I have to put the hammer down others I joke. I have literally seen everything over the years to the point that I know what you are going to do before you even do it. So when I stress certain things it's because I know you are NOT going to do it. I actually care about people understanding and getting it and actually doing it. So people mistake my passion for me being mean. If they can't handle it they can find someone else who will say it more monotone. When they do will feel all warm inside but they will never learn anything. So I will continue to do what I do.
Exactly. So now you have the thought you need to think about this for every shot forever. If you are at least thinking about it you will do it. You need to watch this one: th-cam.com/video/fuOJxv_22Hk/w-d-xo.html
Hey Paul - I've been focusing on the instep quite a bit and read your comment below regarding "instep-heel". That's interesting and in taking a few practice swings it feels more powerful and balanced than when I was focusing on "instep-toe". Hmm. Plan to continue non-ball practice swings as well as hitting balls later to work on this in addition to rolling wrists MUCH EARLIER in my downswing rather than trying to roll them a fraction of a second prior to impact like I've been trying to do (LoL!).
Thanks. Still getting comments I am condescending. If they can't take it they can go away (coddling is not me). I am not going to candy coat it for anyone. You can see how that has been working on over the years. Now it's my turn to actually make people better. Thanks for your support.
Have you considered adding some weight to the club head in order to get a better feel for pushing off on the trail foot this also helps with the timing of the push off. I also hit Dixie cups when my timing gets off,the noise feedback helps me to pour on the coal at the right time.
I don't like to swing heavy anything. If you do so your clubs feel light which is the wrong feeling. Your club need to feel heavy. I see timing differently. I can get that back in seconds by watching the ball. Either more or less body based on what the ball is doing (if you have the hinge rehinge mastered).
@@paulwilsongolf Dear Mr. Wilson. I was ready to call you out publicly. Tou are obviously in cahoots with driving ranges all over the world to sell larger buckets of balls than needed. 40 balls to prove you right? Bunk, it took less than 10 balls. Dead bloody straight everytime and forget about changing down a club, more like two! I was landing my wedge deep in 8 iron territory. I was staggered at how effective your super simple setup and mind set and swing thoughts worked. I couldn't get through a small bucket laughing and having so much fun. The craziest part was a couple of young guys came up to me and asked how to do what I was doing. Imromptu golf lesson. These guys started hammering it out there also. Behind me was a poor slasher following his move by move audio on his cell phone...he was losing his mind watching these guys pound it out there with no effort as long as they stuck to the program. Amazing! Thank you very, very much. You made my year.
@Paul - Added into my "at home practice" this week one of things on the list that needed work; -- Back of the left knee needs to fire straight back not at the target! This made a noticeable difference. It became readily apparent, that this movement made me better aware of swing sequence. In fact, it made me realize that it was indeed missing from the swing sequence altogether. It helped tremendously in just about every part of the downswing sequence. Timing this move with unhinging has produced a crisper action. I hope I can get out this weekend for some range time and video.
I would be working on the fundamentals first the once you get it look for more power. You can do it the other way but the golf season is starting. Getting more distance may take months. I always enjoy Paul's videos. ..actually, learn something - right leg thrust/push is key and sorry to sound cliche, but EASY ! It's intuitive, so go at it ! .... didn't know about Hogan and his extra instep cleat, either thanks :)
Thanks so much. Yes, it's legs not arms. See how the person would get this wrong though. They are looking at something so they try to hit with the arms. This is human nature. Need to go against this and hit it with the legs and hips. If so, you will get it. If not, you will never get it.
It's about how I did it. I didn't hit with my arms. Instead I used my body. Knowing that you need to start using your body to power your swing. There are many different triggers. This is the easiest: th-cam.com/video/FV8uSZ16Bys/w-d-xo.html
I have ordered this paid the $7.00 and still have received nothing. I watch your videos, like your program. I am a golf pro, been teaching some of your methods, it works. Dr Jim Kerley
The log in might be in your spam folder. I sent your message to my customer service. You can find this at the top of the any page under contact us. Glad you are trying it. It is simple and highly effective. Thanks for the support.
This increased my feeling to fire my hips. I'll continue to practice it. For now I am not able to handle the increased speed. Ball is going randomly sliced, pulled, hooked, pushed, topped, fat...
You have made lots of changes recently. You need to swing at a pace you can handle. Get good at it. Then increase the lower body in stages to get more distance. Slice - hitting, pull/pull hook - hitting push - hips too fast topped - hitting fat = hitting trapping you on the back foot at impact. So lots of hitting still there. Slow down to 50% and get it. You will get confidence. Confidence breeds distance.
Another great tip Paul. My driver has been going 175 to 220 depending on conditions & quality of the swing. I worked on the stretching arms out drill today. Hit some good shots. I'll add this drill into my next session. 😃
Being cheeky, the main message from the story is that at 15 your course management wasn't good. Lay up before the creek, 100 yards on to the green with a wedge. Birdie putt beckons. :-) Nice tip though.

Glad you liked it. Thanks for downloading the app. People who try it love it. I am usually online each day. Connect with me when you are ready.

This tip.... Along with gripping club like I have a bird in my hands .... rotating my shoulders like a top.... and not swinging with my arms..... releases a ton of energy!! It improves my distance exponentially!! Love the videos!!
Good stuff. Thanks for your support.
@@paulwilsongolf Thanks Paul and I drove it around 250 before I utilized this great advise and didn't think I could do better... The best advise of all was keep on trying and don't give up!! Keep up the great work ; )
took some of your tips to the course yesterday hit a few pars and finished 18 holes in half the time it use to take me with way less fatigue, Thanks Paul, my distance has been a problem cant wait to take this one out there
Nice work! The distance will come. Let's get used to it at a pace you can handle.
YOU ARE THE MAN PAUL !!! Your tips are amazing !!! Thanks so much !!!
Glad you like them! Thanks for your support.
Very good. Glad you are getting it.
dave b today.
Keep at it.
Makes sense. That is what I like about his teaching it comes together and makes sense. Therefore easier to remember. Thanks Paul.
So watch these first:
th-cam.com/video/CV7RbrqFUAE/w-d-xo.html
th-cam.com/video/uPAmgM8weTs/w-d-xo.html
Do these:
th-cam.com/video/0gOuKQpUl54/w-d-xo.html
th-cam.com/video/LAejvDbw_aA/w-d-xo.html
Make sure you are hinging and rehinging your wrists. The arm unit is a big part of the swing. This is half. Get half then work on the other half.
@@paulwilsongolf Yes sir. You are also correct, I didn't start playing until I was an adult.
...the ‘body swing’ is the best for me as far as distance and consistency is concerned...at 69 I had to go left handed as my left hip was bone on bone...I played okay right , but wanted to continue to play golf as best I could... came across the Body Swing’...and all the tips from Paul have made me play better than I could have imagined... to anyone, this is very easy to learn , albeit every swing has a need for technique ( but you don’t need to be triple joined like most of the other swing methods )...but once I practiced what Paul was teaching, I was getting consistent compression that I never experienced before...Paul says at 75 you get weaker... but I’m not worrying because I’m now smoking my drives ( 190 ish hitting at 70% like Paul recommends ) and hitting greens ( 160 in ) while now at 72 years young with this swing... and after a round, I have energy left, and NO back pain... thanks Paul for your videos and for making my golf game fun....
That's great. Exactly what I would want to hear from someone following my teaching. Interesting you switched from right to left. Keep at it.
This is why I,m here amongst other tips thanks ..I still have aways to go
Glad to help. Just stay focused and build the swing. You've got this.
My back went out a few times this year on the first tee with the driver, that’s when I finally committed to your method.
Very good. You will never been in pain doing my swing. If you are you are doign it wrong.
Watched this video, went to the range and hit further than ever haha. I just let my arms hang and let my legs/hips do all the work. My arms just went along for the ride. Thank you sir!
Good stuff!
Eureka! Watched your Video this Morning - just tried ist on the driving range- and ist worked! What a great feeling! Thanks a lot Paul.
Great job! Now you are changing the power source.
Glad you tried it. I have his series. Good stuff. I love the old guys. He was super loose. Amazing swing.
Those were the days.
Your golf swing has changed my life!!
Great to hear. Such a great feeling when you are on track hitting great shots knowing you can do it. Keep up the good work.
Exactly. I think Nicklaus said something similar too. Thanks. Big hurdle to cross 100k. Now the excitement begins.
This is a good tip. I've done this before with success but over time have not even thought much about it. I will get back to it tomorrow. Thanks for the reminder.

Definitely. Use the legs and hips not the hands and arms.
Excellent
Changed my life
That's great. Glad to hear.
This is the best swing. Dig in and rotate. Thanks Paul.
Glad you like it!
Exactly. They are typically just whacking away at it. Glad you see it. Hopefully others do too.
Brings back memories when you and I played many rounds at Elmira Golf Course in High school!
Great to hear from you. Was thinking about you a few weeks ago while looking at Facebook. Glad you are doing well. Haven't been back in many years. Probably wouldn't even recognize it.
You are a super coach
Thank you very much.
Absolutely the most illusive power move of all. I want it! If I could hit 300 I can say I've reached my goal in golf. The score means nothing compared to that 300. I've been smashing away for years with a 220 max. So frustrating. Thank you Paul for your honest tips.
You can do it!
.......man when you do it right it's like butter..... if I could just keep from letting my adrenaline get in the way ..... great tip.....thanks Paul
Yeah, stack and tilt didn't quite work for him. Mind boggling he even tried it.
Your a great teacher
I appreciate that! Thanks.
Thanks for Hogan's tip...
@@paulwilsongolf Thanks
Good tips...wanna try it tmrw at range..tq paul
Yeah, without hitting with the arms.
Awesome, Ben Hogan was a BOSS.
He sure was. Put in more time than almost anyone.
Maybe you would prefer the term ,buggy whip swing, that describes the arms and upper torso swing
Then comes the modern swing that encourages using the lower body and the ground .In the old days we also described the two major swings as golfers that swing through the ball and the other was the hitter or the golfer that hit at the ball.
I'm 80 and still practice every day, still play reg tees and hdcp 3 to 5.
I use different swings for different conditions and am always open to learning new techniques.
Heard that one before. That is good description. Wouldn't want to confuse these youngsters on what a buggy whip is though.
I did it,and it worked.thanks, it was easy
Great job!
That's great. You are starting to get it. Imagine what the future will bring.
Wow what a great tip. I have been flat footed for a long time but this tip has me turning and using my legs now. Way more power. Thanks Paul!

Thanks. I appreciate it. Got to be loose. Sam sure was.
Interesting. Never heard that one before. There are 2 swings. Hope you choose the right one.
Thanks for the tip I will definitely try this next time I play. Great content btw!!
Thank you. I appreciate it.
I'm enjoying your new style of delivery - really friendly and chatty. And the info is, as always, really helpful. Thanks!
Gosh this is good. Ur videos are the best.
Wow, thank you!
This works!! The problem is to do it consistently! Naturally, I'm always inclined to muscle it to get more...but end up getting less!!
Exactly. So now you have the thought you need to think about this for every shot forever. If you are at least thinking about it you will do it. You need to watch this one: th-cam.com/video/fuOJxv_22Hk/w-d-xo.html
This is the most important tip I’ve had in quite a while. Thank you.

No toes. Do that and you will shank it at some point. You are hearing me so keep doing what you are doing. I'll make you a star.
Excellent, was taught this

Thanks. Still getting comments I am condescending. If they can't take it they can go away (coddling is not me). I am not going to candy coat it for anyone. You can see how that has been working on over the years. Now it's my turn to actually make people better. Thanks for your support.

Great tip
Glad it was helpful!
Great 👍 tip Paul. Thanks.
Happy to help
Have you considered adding some weight to the club head in order to get a better feel for pushing off on the trail foot this also helps with the timing of the push off.
I also hit Dixie cups when my timing gets off,the noise feedback helps me to pour on the coal at the right time.
I don't like to swing heavy anything. If you do so your clubs feel light which is the wrong feeling. Your club need to feel heavy. I see timing differently. I can get that back in seconds by watching the ball. Either more or less body based on what the ball is doing (if you have the hinge rehinge mastered).
Great tip, thanks 👍💪
You bet!

Dear Mr.
That's funny. Great story. I do want people to get it fast. You got it. Good one teaching others to do it. Hope you told them about me!
@@paulwilsongolf Absolutley you have to lay blame somewhere else.
THANKS a bunch.
@Paul - Added into my "at home practice" this week one of things on the list that needed work;
-- Back of the left knee needs to fire straight back not at the target!
Very good. You are on your way.
Hi Paul
I am a little confused on which swing to try ,your video on more wrist or the power swing.

I always enjoy Paul's videos. ..actually, learn something - right leg thrust/push is key and sorry to sound cliche, but EASY !
It's intuitive, so go at it !
.... didn't know about Hogan and his extra instep cleat, either
thanks :)
Thanks so much. Yes, it's legs not arms. See how the person would get this wrong though. They are looking at something so they try to hit with the arms. This is human nature. Need to go against this and hit it with the legs and hips. If so, you will get it. If not, you will never get it.
That’s great and I’m sure it would definitely work but I’m not 15 and getting the hang of it isn’t simple
It's about how I did it. I didn't hit with my arms. Instead I used my body. Knowing that you need to start using your body to power your swing. There are many different triggers. This is the easiest:
th-cam.com/video/FV8uSZ16Bys/w-d-xo.html
Good stuff
Being cheeky, the main message from the story is that at 15 your course management wasn't good. Lay up before the creek, 100 yards on to the green with a wedge. Birdie putt beckons. :-) Nice tip though.
That is cheeky. Yes, if I was playing in a tournament I would certainly do that but this was playing on a daily basis so it was all about power.
Could you elaborate on the circular motion....of the right foot and hip...
Throw some balls over hand. Doing so you would turn and shift. This is the motion I am using.
