I love the magpie. Always persistent but also fairly calm knowing they will get their share. Stands out in the wild flock acting like they have not eaten in a week haha.
The kookaburras? Yeah well they are sort of killing machines...kind of like cats how they're fluffy and adorable and then you see them bashing a rabbit or a rat to death...

I have not watched your videos in a while but started watching when you just had a couple 😂thank you for sharing the beautiful birds with us. The Kokas are so mysterious to me, probably because we have nothing like them in America and I am hooked on them ❤

Any scary movies usually have their cries or calls in them and it always makes me laugh because they don't live anywhere except for on the water. We live right on a very large lake so they are here every spring and leave every year about this time for warmer weather climates. If you look up their calls on TH-cam here you will be amazed. We also have multiple eagles nests around our home and several species of woodpeckers and owls. Thank you so very much for sharing your bird videos with us 🥰

That's kind of impressive and unusual? a duck sitting on a fence when their feet aren't exactly geared for that. Are there no cuckatoos in your area? Or other parrots? Or have they just not found out about that sanctuary of yours yet? :)
They're Australian wood ducks so they're actually pretty good at sitting on the fence! The largest male duck was actually perching on my arm today as well 😊 Yep check out my channel for a cockatoo playlist and a king parrot playlist 🦜🦜 The king parrots visit most days and the cockatoos visit sometimes when the kookaburras aren't around 😅

Had to go to the dentist today to get my teeth cleaned. I discovered I lost a filling.(!) I have no idea how thar happened! What the heck?! So, I have to go back in July and get it replaced. I'so glad they don't do mercury fillings any more. Ugh!

They poisoned my tooth bed and turned my teeth grey! I have to get fitted for a mouth guard, too, as I have a bad habit of grinding my teeth, and it makes my jaws lock. It's rather painful, so I'll be glad to have something to fix that. I go to the dentist twice a year to get my teeth in good nick. Keeping your teeth taken care of helps prevent heart attack. Don't want one of those!

I cannot get over how different our magpies are. I have a family of Eurasian Magpies I am trying to befriend for years now but they scram 99/100 times as soon as they know I'm in the same zip code. Other than that there's a wood pigeon that occasionally drops by that is a bit more laid back. Best luck I've had was with a family of tits but they became a walking buffet for the magpies :-/
