The fact that Bane recognises and acknowledges Fennec speaks volumes of how skilled and dangerous she is despite being at the very beginning of her career.
Would've been cooler if it was a younger Boba going up against Cad, then we could've gotten their duel scene. This is okay, but I was really hoping to see Boba since he's Omega's brother.
She's a martial artist while cad bane is a gun slinger. I'm not surprised he has trouble with a young fennec shand. He fought pretty well or evenly with her, compared to some of his fights with jedi.

This scene does justice to showing how ruthless and evil Bane is. He doesn't really care about Omega's safety. He just wants his credits. Shand is pretty ruthless herself but she's at least trying not to accidentally kill the kid. I wish these two got more screen time together but they'd probably end up killing each other.
Honestly I think Fennec besting Bane was a foreshadowing of him getting put down below the popular level of the best bounty hunters as Boba would become the best bounty hunter in the Galactic Empire era and would eventually kill Bane after the Empire's collapse.
Actually it’s Disney giving the shine to female characters. Bane has 10 times the experience and skill of Fennec and therefor plot Armor was the only thing that kept her alive
Cad Bane knows that Fennec is a very skilled bounty hunter and even acknowledges it but he even knows that she lacks experience as a bounty hunter compared to Cad Bane.
Nobody can beat cad bane in a quick draw. Glad they kept this. He beat Cobb vanth and boba fett. In other forms of combat, like martial arts he struggles understandably. Every hero or villain should have strengths and weaknesses imo.
@@anthonyt1t5 you are right, no one would ever beat cad bane at quick draw but it would have been better for hunter to fight cad bane since he said to cad bane that he was in for a surprise. That surprise could've been the rematch.
@@SgtBuzzsaw3820 Nah Hunter meant that Cad Bane was in for a suprise because he said killing Clones were easy and it was for him at least but Hunter were no regular Clone and that's why he said it
I noticed that they removed Cad Bane's voice filter in seasons 1-4 of the clone wars. And just gave him a subtle auto tune. Why they did that is beyond me.
The tubes coming out of his neck. they are part of a cybernetic breathing apparatus that allow him to survive in toxic environments (and survive being force choked)
I was really worried they were going to have a bland character kill off Cad Bane rather than Boba Fett. Lucky for me they created a garbage show based around a watered down Boba Fett and boring-as-usual Fennec to unceremoniously kill off Cad Bane.
BOBF was a terrible show. The MAIN reason it was terrible was because of what they did to Boba. They straight up bitchified his character. Disney doesn’t understand that not every character needs a redemption arc and happy ending. What made Boba such an awesome character was that he was quiet and mysterious and utterly brutal…

Cad Bane was never good at hand to hand combat. He's a quickdraw who has a couple of gadgets. Fennec is a great sharpshooter and hand to hand combatant. She used his old age and lack of hand to hand combat to her advantage. Plus Cad Bane's species seems physically weaker than most Humans. She still barely won.
